Hey doc. The F&K has a similar corkscrew like victorinox made in the first 10 years or so of production. I believe the F&K is approximately 1900 to 1920 manufactured. Love the little queen Stockman. Have one just like it, but almost lost it one day and have been afraid to carry it ever since. Those two queen Jack's, IMHO, should be left as. The shorter blade is still very serviceable, looks like a 3 inch warncliff blade. Just saying doc. It's your knife and I am glad you got it and all the others too. Especially the fixed blades. I enjoyed seeing them. Thanks doc
I've sent two 110s and one 112 to Buck for blade replacement. Man, they look brand new. It was about 4 weeks once they recieved them to get them back. I also asked for the bad blades back, just so I would be able to date the knives.
Not sure how well the Forever warranty works, but I've been happy with the blade replacement and "spa" treatment. I need to send in something other than a 110.
Hey Doc...make sure to take before then after pics on the buck. They do a great job and you can request they return the old blade remnant and request a sheath too. Enjoy every show...stay sharp😇
Hey doc. Thanks for all the hours of entertainment I really enjoy your videos. I just thought I would let you know incase you were unfamiliar with them but whenever I buy knives new I try to get them from white mountain knives. They don’t charge tax or shipping and there are lots of discounts codes for 10% off from other UA-camrs. Keep up the good work and have a wonderful day.
Doc you can't make up this crazy coincidence. I was in a picker shop in anniston AL. Today and the very same Gerber carving set was in there box with stickers on it and all. I was going to buy it but the fork was missing.
Hey Walt! LOL,, take that WW2 fishing knife and put it in boiling oil for 25 to 30 minutes the whole darn knife is fine in the oil, the oil will soften up all bone, all antlers and all horn after the 30 minutes wrap the whole knife with tying string tightly wrapped let it set 12 to 24 hours and when you unwind it the scale will be flat, try this sometime for a piece of antler you want strait then clamp it to your bench with a flat piece of 3/4 inch pine let it set a few hors and the antler will be strait!!

What kind of oil? Will it work on other materials too? Thanks for the tip.
@36:47 Hey doc, it's not F & K. it's F (makers mark) K Solingen on that knife. I found a similar one that looks a little newer (the post says its from the 80s) on etsy for $11 that has pearl looking plastic handles, no bolsters. Edit: found an older one on etsy from the 30s under the same name. Similar style. 2 blade with corkscrew For 80$. Still not the same bolsters though.
@theknifedoctor I'll send you an email with pictures of the ones I found online. The makers mark is like 2 C's (one backwards) crossed over eachother, its not the "&" symbol I promise you. Keep your eyes out for the email
My local pawn shop had that same Case fixed blade, no sheath, and it was in damn near perfect condition. I forget what they were asking for it but it seemed reasonable but I wasn’t sure if it was legit or not. I may have to go back for it now.
Thanks for sharing such valuable information! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). What's the best way to send them to Binance?
hey man just starting to get into restoring and collecting (real) knifes, old, new, pocket, blades, bowie, hunting ect and already loving your videos and have 1 question maybe to help, I have a really low budget of just 70$ atm and i still need supplies to remove rust but i cant afford expensive machinery like grinders and ect is there anything you recommend to sharpen knives? not just sharpen but re-do the entire blade edge, i will be getting a cool (cheap still) knife sharpening kit (its a fancy tumblr kitchen knife set) but what else should i invest in for now? im only 14 and really looking into what you do thanks! (sorry if i am annoying but i commented on 2 other videos)
hello doc, i noticed that the knives you said were the same at 31:18 had different nail marks so maybe not the same model of blade anyway love the videos band greetings from belgium 🫡

Man, I sure do like that Ruger lighter. I’ve always been a big Ruger fan. I have probably 15 to 20 firearms made by them.

Hey Doc what does the Umc mean on Remington knives?
Union Metallic Cartridge. An ammo Company founded in 1867. They merged with Remington in 1912. Awesome Question!
@@theknifedoctor Thanks, doc , I was wondering about that also.
The oldest Remington you showed I was able to get one 40 dollars . ,got the shacks when I saw it .
I have an Imperial fix blade just like your Remington
Awesome!!

It pronounced Preg. Oklahoma towns have odd spellings.
