Your daughter is one of the most patient kids I have ever seen with her brothers. You have done an amazing job…you can tell she mirrors how you talk to your kids. Very polite and sweet. You guys are awesome!
I loved seeing Ian helping Ezra try the M&M’s. He was so calm and thoughtful by asking your permission before sharing with him. I also have autism. I’ve noticed that I usually get along really easily with others who have autism, even those who communicate differently than I do, or aren’t even able to speak like I am able to, or are a different age to me. Not all the time, but most of the time. Communicating seems to come more naturally to me with other autistic people. Connor reminds me of myself a few years ago when I was his age. I also enjoy making stop motion videos, and I am more introverted. Thank you for the video.
I get along with kids who have problems because I have some of my own ik the deep hurt of it I want friends with problems because I seethe heart of them
@@7Aheadfamily thanks I'm a one of a kind that has a heart not many out there can see that but I also have my differences I don't force on nobody but that doesn't change who I am on the inside
Alien and then turtle. Both Allister and Ian were so sweet to Ezra. I had an issue with putting my shirt in my mouth through elementary school similar to chewing an eraser. Unfortunately I get too into the game that I have meltdowns. Ian is so friendly. I hope one day they are all friends later in life knowing friendships are tough for autistic kids and adults.
@@7Aheadfamily I feel blessed to have the abilities I have and the ability to communicate with more severe autistic people. If there's anything I can do to make the lives of autistic kids and adults is the most important thing. Helping parents connect with their kids is key autistic kids have awesome personalities remembering Ian in young videos with a big heart. I am sure Ezra is sweet too.
What a fantastic night!! They all did a good job with the play dough!! Probably my favorite was Ian's domestic cat, I am partial to kitties! I aways come in last when I play Mario Kart with my grandchildren!! Thanks for sharing!!
I liked the turtle, followed by the cat! Also I love the videos where you babysit, would love to see more in the future. It's great to see all the kids getting along and enjoying themselves!
I liked Ian's domestic kitty cat, and Marks little bug dude. Ian seems so caring and nice, with the way he assured everyone that they did well while playing Mario Kart, and how he brought all his M&M's to share :D
7:45 "We are all impressed with how well these kids clean their dishes." -- It comes of noticing every detail and wanting everything to be neat and well-ordered.
They all did so good with the playdoh, I absolutely love the sea turtle by benson 🥰 They are all very good though. Marie was so good with Simon, I liked when she was telling Simon that the playdoh she had was hers but she would get him some! :)
In music class around third or fourth grade (age nine to ten) I used to blow into the recorder in pretty much the same way that Alistair is doing here. The music teacher thought that I was just doing this to be annoying but that actually wasn’t my intention. I didn’t know at the time how much (or how little) I should blow into the recorder while playing. I wonder if it’s common for kids on the spectrum to struggle with this like I did. Luckily the music teacher knew that I was in special education (even if she didn’t know all of the specifics of my diagnosis and what it meant) and she had me play one of the autoharps for the rest of that class instead of sending me to the principal’s office.
Now that I see the Nintendo game it looks like Alistair’s bedtime story for Simon and Ezra in the previous babysitting video was based on the Nintendo games.
Aww. Well, for me. I may be autistic. Level 2 autism. I'm 28. I feel like a young adult. Still, in my parents point of view. They still consider me a kid. When people mention me, they think I'm still just a kid, or sometimes, a boy child. I am happy to be autistic. I don't find it as a condition problem. I know it's a disability. But I don't mind. I still enjoy being like a kid. Acting like a child. And being treated like a pampered baby boy child. Staying with mommy, daddy, and family as a whole. Hee hee!! In my heart, personality, and mind. I enjoy my needs of childish escapism, creativity, imagination, and bubbly persona to deal and cope with the view of the big outside world. This how I am. My own personal beliefs, viewpoint, and philosophy as a whole. That's all I have to say.
I’m between Level 1 and Level 2 on the spectrum and I’m 18 years old but mentally a lot younger in some ways. I still enjoy things that children enjoy like playgrounds for example plus I really enjoy watching The Backyardigans. I also have a huge imaginary world I’m not going to go in depth with it because it would be an extremely long comment. I don’t mind being autistic and I also have a pretty big amount of friends who are autistic (both real and imaginary) almost all of the imaginary ones go to a imaginary special autism school which is a pretty big system. 4 high schools, a really big college starting next school year as well as I also hear that they’re talking about starting a summer camp with alumni events at some point (this is all imaginary) my Imaginary twin brother was there but graduated now. Not going further in depth, it would take a while. Also not imaginary I have an older brother with Level 3 autism and he’s nonverbal and with a caregiver family a lot of the time.
Maybe Alistair can help Ezra a bit with his potty training. Alistair is recently-enough trained (I think within about the last two years or so) that maybe he remembers enough of the process to understand some of the things that Ezra might be struggling with based on any struggles that he had that he might still remember. Maybe he remembers some things about the potty training process that other people might not remember. This should be a good thing as long as he doesn’t spend so much time with Ezra that Simon becomes jealous. You don’t want that because there’s always the slight possibility that Simon might start to act more like Ezra to get more attention from Alistair in that situation.
Popcorn definitely you can tell ezra favourite food he can easily chew and shallow you can tell he eats it and doesnt look uncomfortable he looks very uncomfortable eating alot of foods.
I just used this one from good housekeeping.com the recipe with corn starch. www.goodhousekeeping.com/food-recipes/cooking/a37358477/how-to-make-playdough/
First time viewer and new subscriber. Such a lovely blending of the families in this video. Question: Does Marie feel left out or as if she is missing fun with neurotypical kids her own age? Does she have girlfriends she associates with on a regular basis? She is very much a caregiver to the boys, but I hope she is getting to be just a regular kid with a social life of her own! She is very special!
Ezra seems to like M&Ms. Maybe you can use them as a reward for Ezra in his potty training (if you are not already doing this). I would have suggested this before but before watching this video I didn’t know if Ezra could eat them safely. As you mentioned in the potty training video Oreo cookies worked as a good reward for Simon. If Ezra still likes M&Ms maybe they can perform the same function in his own training.
How do you deal emotionally with Ezra s dissability? I know you have other healthy children, but I do not think it hurts less because of that. I have a son with severe autism. He is my only child. He is a lot like Ezra. Does Ezra use his tablet to demand sth without you showing it to him first?
Honestly, emotional it is very difficult because it’s easy to feel that he has been dealt an unfair life. He won’t yet use his iPad in his own. We hope that he will use it more and someday be able to express himself through it. It’s difficult as parents, knowing that he may be our responsibility his whole life. That is always in the back of our minds. But what helps the most is our faith in God. I know that someday Ezra will be able to talk even if it’s not in this life. And maybe he will in this life too, who knows? When I first found out that Ezra had severe Autism the realization hit me hard. I prayed and asked God, why this would happen? I felt it was unfair for him to have such a difficult time learning simple tasks. During that time on my knees I felt God let me know that He had a plan of Ezra. That Ezra is supposed to come to earth this way, and have this kind of experience and that I volunteered to be his mother. It was a personal experience and I am not saying that is true for others. But it helps me emotionally, when I know God has His reasons and I will focus on helping Ezra have the most independence possible. I hope this helps. ❤️ -Holly
I Love Mariokart 8 deluxe! It is one of my favorite games on the switch! My favorite is probably Animal Crossing New Horizons. Did you know if you give people your friend code and they accept your request then you can play online with people from around the world.
It’s not too surprising that Simon still seems to be struggling at this point with the concepts of “yours” and “mine”. First, he’s not quite three years old here. In addition his level one autism probably also has some effect on this as well (even though he has no intellectual delay).
Ian would love all my kitten cat story’s as we had a steer so steeet she was all gray but she never the cat stores. The kids will have a blast listening to some of the names I made up are used to like that. I don’t know different states are you? We had so many kittens we real out of names this cat we love the kittens so much and they were so cute. It’s weird it was the first batch is all white and then the next batch is all gray and then she had all different ones, but there was a black kitten the only black kitten I always wanted a black cat maybe the name sounds a little racist. I’ll tell you that, but I was a kid and that wasn’t very non-PC I can tell you some good stories especially kids like we we had fun but some I’d tone it down a little because we were wild and they want to do it but they’re the good stories. I’ll tell you them first if you want them to tell the story because I know how you are with your kids like I know people a group of people just like you know what I mean, Ian would like a lot of the cat stories and one was so sad. I can’t tell it but I will tell the parents I’m so sad this happened. He was such a good little kitten. I feel it was an accident. I really don’t know how it happened.
Simon looks just like this little kid with the long hair. I think I mentioned the mullet but in this the way his hair is straight down is some. He looks just like my little baby. I called my baby brother. I love this kid so much I he didn’t hang around with this is why is it so much that we’re bad children you know we kind of got a pop because he was I think he might’ve been two or three years younger than me. He might’ve been exactly the same age as my sister but I think my sister had a little Bit more age of I think she was almost I remember that he passed away and he got hit by a car. He went to McDonald’s in the accident. We were really mad and they felt bad for the girl who hit them. It wasn’t that she was she didn’t see him and she Paul Jay, so much they for gave her And invited her to the week as they said we are mad at you but you are you very young? You’re like she was like 70 T was very young driver and she felt so bad they didn’t want her to feel bad but she she had to leave right away. She probably took at the hardest and we all feel bad for her But the family said we’re gonna miss our son but that was sad to see him and that I we haven’t spoken since I seen her brother very rarely and we respect that family it wasn’t her fault it was it wasn’t his fault either he was a kid he was only Stevens 14. I do believe he was 14. I think he was two years in high school, but 14 was another different whole different scenario 214 for us was rough. This is when something happened. I’ll tell you all about it. It was so rough for us but these kids were so respect because they were straight up crazy gangbangers, but they were white, but that’s not how it happened that’s that’s how I felt like because I do it in my special ed class and I didn’t even know what I see. I can’t find it anymore human this kid was this kid was he had he didn’t have a rough life we lost everything in his. He was the nicest kid to me, but they were crazy. It’s not that it’s not racist here so there are a lot of white gang bangers, but I’ve never want to be a gangbang because I had so many friends and they respected that these cameras were so together you should’ve seen the diversity. I will tell. I’ll tell you all about it, but I was never told a story because it’s really hard for me because as I said it and I felt bad about it and they still mad at me and they won’t talk to me but they say it’s true because it’s kind of popped into my head to the head too, but there’s never say anything like that but I was so sad what happened and these kids stayed in the village Quinsigamond village because it was a good neighborhood. It’s not the people like if you should be you can it wasn’t our fault and I just told people I can’t do these things we know every family just a boat in every street I’ll have to try to explain to you how I live lived. It was a very good neighborhood and still is but these kids from the worst of the worst and they just stay there because they loved it and love my foster homes because it was so bad they had that they had to
I can speak for at least my side of the party. 😊 Ezra is level, three autism, and Simmons is level one autism. I know that Rob has done a video with Connor on his channel being a light autism as well. ❤️

@@7Aheadfamily Thanks I just watched and my suspicions were true 😂 Are you guys planning on getting her diagnosed just to see or no?
You need 2 get a chewy Ezra cab wear around his neck 2 chew when he wants. Then you can encourage him 2 not chew his shirt.
Yeah, he usually takes those off and throws them. 😊 play sometimes work for a little bit though. :-)

Thanks for the Vote!

I'm looking for a family
Family is important. What type of videos do you like to watch?
Do allstair and Simon have the same level of autism ? They both are growing a lot you can tell they are both having good growth !
It’s posible, however it’s difficult to tell because of the age difference. I’d say that Conner is probably more similar to Simon than Alister is. ❤️
Simon going to be successful when he’s older we can see it !
Thank you so much. ❤️❤️❤️
I like all of them
We enjoy them too!😊
