- Four Championships. Three consecutive finals. The only team to lift the Summoner’s Cup more than once: T1. The most dominant Worlds dynasty of all time. At the heart of each of those rosters is the greatest player in League of Legends history, Faker. This year, he’s determined to lead Zeus, Oner, Gumayusi, and Keria to T1’s fifth World Championship and back-to-back titles.
T1’s journey in 2024 has been far from easy. As the fourth seed from the LCK, they were the final team to qualify for Worlds, starting with an 0-1 record in the Swiss Stage. Yet, they’ve only grown stronger, overcoming their regional rivals GEN and silencing any doubts along the way.
However, in the way of T1’s fifth title stands Bilibili Gaming, China’s top seed and arguably the best team in the world. Led by the ferocious Bin in the top lane, BLG is ravenous for a World Championship to bring the LPL back to global dominance. With Knight in the midlane seeking revenge against T1 for knocking him out of Worlds 2023 with JDG, and world-class talent across every lane in Xun, Elk, and ON, BLG is determined to secure the 2024 Summoner’s Cup.

Wow. Is it just me or are the teasers this year so much more human than last year? I find the quiet moments between the players conversing in previous trailers seem so genuine. This one with the families makes the players feel like competitors and humans rather than characters in a game. Still gives us that hype at the end though. So excited for this finals!
Last year teasers were all about the teams themselves (T1 vs JDG, BLG vs WBG, T1 vs WBG) but this year they seem to center more on the personal feelings of each players. It's that good? It's that bad? To each their own, I like them both
it really depends on what their theme would be… last year is also good “the grind, the glory” more like a high energy “trial and error” vibe this year is “make them believe” in touch with emotions

They are taking a similar style as the 2022 finals teaser which didn't have a single frame of the game itself (and imo the best teaser ever made)

I still remember the bin video from his Sunin days where his dad is scolding him on League stuff and how he was making simple mistakes. The story arc and progression of Bin throughout his years from Sunin to Blg has been amazing. I hope he finally lifts the Worlds Trophy.

What made the scene with fakers dad so heartwarming is most parents pick thier childrens path, where faker had to pursued his father to go the distance with league of legends. The look his father gave is one of great respect for his son, who obviously made the right choice for himself. Thank you so much for whoever scripted this as a part to hype up the championship!
