10:56. KC gets big putted by McBeth, and just ices the 36 footer. I’d love to see commentary from the players on this round!! 22:25 - exact same story. This round should be called “Big Putted by McBeth” - very cool to see the Big Champ showing these young guns how it’s done.
Is it the same penalty stroke or something? Did the rules change after this was shot? I thought it only applied to re-tee shots from a tee pad or drop zone. You take another stroke in addition to the out of bounds penalty stroke to re-shoot?
Climo looks like Ricky's Dad. 11 the rope saved Climo, and 12 with that foot fault was all the luck he had left. 13 was the dager. Mcbeth has that clutch gene, and boy he got paid by Discraft. 10 million. Nice to have no graphics or commentary as well, but that being said I enjoy all the coverage we have today. Makes is fun and not so tranquil like your playing. I can't wait to see the pros destroy this course in 21!
@@teukka623 if you paid attention you might have noticed the explosion in growth of the sport lately. Quite a different gene pool to draw from now. It's unlikely that the few old timers could keep up. Anyway, if you lift your gaze momentarily from your arbitrary definition of top 10 PDGA rated players and look at what the game entails you would get my point. Or just head out to your local track and take a look for yourself.
+Ross Hammond He elected to rethrow with a 1 stroke penalty from his previous lie, which is an option any player can take at any time. If he would have instead chose to play from his next lie he still would have taken a 1 stroke penalty for the OB, but been putting from farther away. So it was a very smart play that many players don't realize they are allowed to do.
Classic case of Climo trying to "fix" his 1st parking lot shot with a "park" job. After the 2nd shank into the curb but still in the tournament... that's when your caddie says STOP, SLOW DOWN CHAMP let's talk this thru... just pitch one up there a little long take our double and get the hell out of here.
Am I the only one who is missing the commentators telling: it was a great shot, 35 feet from the basket, hit the first tree on the left, rolled down the hill, took the anhyzer route to the basket etc
Playing a Wii Disk Golf, Entirely a let down, we like to really go outside and play and not get hit by cars. We enjoyed The SpinTV but really Enjoy TheSpin of Exercise.
I'm a Mcbeth fan, but got to call it when I see it...His jump putt on 4 looks like his right foot is well off the ground prior to releasing the disc. Thoughts?
+Lance Beckman turns out it's hole 4. 10:34. Right foot is in the air and disc is in the hand. Hard to see real time, but a foot fault is a foot fault.
Hahaha. there's more people in the park when I play a casual round at 8 in the morning than there are spectators on this coverage. How times have changed.
Hole 13 is definitely iconic in its own right, but that hole sucks. Nikko albatrossing it is sick, but it’s just too much. However, it does go to show the lengths TD’s had to go a decade+ ago to challenge the pros.
I love hearing Climo complain. About 4-5 different times you can just catch little half-sentences of him bitching, and it's always something different. Starts after his 13, complains about the painted circles, and the elevated basket.
Yeah... He does that a lot. Although... I do have to agree with him about that one elevated basket. That's just a silly gimmick when you're lifting them that much.
Why does Wysocki not learn from his mistakes? He throws forehand way too often. Yes, he's great at it and he benefits from it on many occasions. The reason McBeth is winning every single time is because unlike his rivals, he does'nt screw up. He's consistent. Wysocki is not. At least not when it comes to being the best after several rounds.
+Per Wahlgren Why do you think Ricky throws forehand "way too often"? I don't see it causing him any trouble. True, McBeth is more consistent than pretty much everyone. He's literally the best... in the world. That's not a deep observation.
This is an iconic round, Climo, McBeth and Wysocki all together. Possibly the 3 greatest players ever
Wow.
Barry Schulz number 4?
Passing the torch per say
@@PhilGeisslerno lol
And PROCTOR baby!! Put respect on his name.
42:20 "Woah" -Great commentary there! Good coverage, guys!
30:08 if that isn't world champ love i don't know what is
Goodness. What disc hits a rope and BOUNCES BACK???
Fantastic coverage.......thanks Spin TV!
Oh man, Climo on hole 13, that was brutal. Too bad James Proctor didn't finish like he started this round, I wanted to see him finish on top.
TBH, that hole was absolute carbage. I'm not saying Climo didn't play badly, but the hole was quite terrible.
Great coverage! Great to see The Champ and the new champ on the same card!
It's refreshing to not have commentary honestly. Just birds chirping and shit. Makes me feel like I'm there.
Hole 1 McBeth says to Climo: "Somebody's closer"
I remember when Lake Havasu City opened up its disc golf course...really cool..and always free"

McBeths was a way harder putt in the first instance. I’d say now Climo and McBeth are on pretty much the same level.b
to "get big putted" is to miss a shorter putt than someone who has already converted. Climo did not miss his putt thus he was not big putted.
Wow climo with the Tin Cup 37:37
When the game slips away in one hole
31:04 I would not have thought to replay from that lie.
Is it the same penalty stroke or something? Did the rules change after this was shot?
I thought it only applied to re-tee shots from a tee pad or drop zone.
You take another stroke in addition to the out of bounds penalty stroke to re-shoot?
This was such a genius move. Such a corner case where it's beneficial

30:10 Champ gets some loooooove
Duuuuuude, hole 13 is a complete clusterfuck for Climo! So heartbreaking!
Wow! crowds were much larger in the 90s
19:18 McBeth was not happy lol, don't see that kind of thing from him a lot.
Big Respect to James Proctor from a fellow old school UFO !!! Represent 707
?
Is that Johnny Sias spotting on #18?
💎 of a video ❤
can anyone tell me why they turn the disc sideways on warm up stokes? like wysocki does on his first drive
To get a good release. If you throw a hyzer you want to finish up.
What was Climo saying at 32:10? Right before his drop in on hole 10.
10:43 what a put
Wow, just a few years ago and Climo still looked like he was in top form, though he was 46.
you can play this sport at a high level for a long time, pretty cool

What happened on Hole 11 with Proctor? Why didn't he putt from the hazard (or where it rolled out)?
+Ross Hammond He elected to rethrow with a 1 stroke penalty from his previous lie, which is an option any player can take at any time. 35:00 - classic OG throw by MacBeth
Sick putt by Kenny on 17
21:08 Another foot fault by the champ.
13:30 foot fault on Climo. Much worse than what he called on Stokley at Worlds. And I love seeing Paul go form McBeast mode to McStressed mode.
He did it a few times in the round. I'm sure if it was any if the other guys he'd call it in a flash
jeramy576 Yeah, I guess we can give it to him after that catastrophic blowup on 888.
+Alex Padilla
Also 21:10 when he is way behind the marker.
+C r s I just came to post this. He's foot faulted twice already by this point. "YOU'RE TWO FEET BEHIND YOUR MINI!!" Is all I can think about.
+Roc Surgeon Hole #13...Karma is a bitch Kenny........
McBeth is the only person that would line up to go for 50+ footer facing the hazard on 14. Wow
24:49 product placement.
"UPS. We always deliver straight to the basket."
ouch was that a 13 on hole 13 for the champ? looks like he rushed 4 of those shots :/
30:10 that’s some goat luck right there
37:36 this is the moment the title of GOAT officially transferred from Climo to McBeth
What a brutal way to get like 6 extra strokes. Oof.

Hellacious putts from all these guys.
Paul looking at KC and fist pump, KC hitting same putt, looks over at paul, fist pump. Wholesome stuff. Hole 4.

that roller from Ken was clurch! a true skill throw!

ah, I see - you're cutting it by the space between chain putts ... that's cool too
Wow
Ken really took +8 bogey on hole 13 my god
Sias is as spry as ever calling OB on hole 18. Show em how it's done Johnny!
I swear Climo foot faults on every long throw from the fairway. The one at 21:10 is really bad.
Procter rolll away at 11 is the stuff of nightmares!!
KC 4x throw on 13

cut it tighter- trim it ... throw, throw, throw... nonstop action
Proctor is huge off the tee and makes big putts. It would be nice to see more of him.
fast-forward to 2023 and he's on almost every lead card it feels like
McBeth coordinates with his putters
Impressive growth in the sport to see 0 spectators just 5 years ago. edit;....guess they start appearing later in the round :P

Well 12 titles tends to make you a little thirsty for perfection out there. The Champ didn’t become the Champ by not being intense as fuck.
I'm guessing spectators must have been banned and that's too bad.
