What a great life you're living mate, cant wait to do the same when i retire out there next year. I am a relatively new subscriber to your channel and really enjoying your content.
Really enjoyed this one! Lovely rain, my friend...I live in hot, dry Las Vegas...& I'm headed back to Philippines in November, so I miss those cool rainy days, big time! Nice fishing! 😊
Looks like Lon caught a nice fish to cook up at a good price. I am surprised they don't sell the old Hibachi grill there. You and Lon enjoy your grilled fish.
You can check if the areas in your garden are waterlogged or have just become hard due to foot traffic and the sun has baked the top layer. Take a garden fork and push it in as far as the tines will go about every foot or so. Come back in an hour if the water is still there the ground is saturated.
The motorcycle side car reslly turned out well. I wish the Government in the Philippines would allow those instead of those sardine can sidecars . it really looks comfortable but may have been better if the builder had given you another 8 -10 inches of head clearance. I am sure you will be feeling the heat coming off the top since it is not insulated. I got it the moment you said Mt. Pilot. No explanation needed. ( Mayberry RFD along with Gunsmoke and Wagontrain have always been my favorites ).
The trikes in the Philippines make no sense. Once I moved to Cambodia I could easily ride a tuk tuk home from the market, or take a girl on a date comfortably. I would never use a Filipino trike. Totally useless.
@@Mikeycambovideos Trikes vary a lot depending on where you are. In Metro Manila they're tiny, while for example in Negros Oriental and Cebu the sidecars are much bigger. Family of 3 with luggage is no problem at all.
That new parking shade should be getting a good number of solar panels for alternative power supply. Lan's done a fantastic job so far. Big hugs to her for us all. 😊
That trike is just the job for going to the shops for your daily needs, no need to run the UTE. Maybe some tarpaulin for the shelter sides to keep the sun off.
Old bay… and franks red hot…… the 2 essentials for cooking… That water looked a little deep in your yard… you should be fine… rain that hard doesn’t hit that area very often….
A good day for both parties Lucas, a good day for you, Teerak and the property owner and at the end of the day feeling not ripped off means you had a win!!!🤗 Oh, & my favorite word of the vlog (Efficacious) 😀
Hey Lucas Lan . Happy rainy season decent shopping there Dunkin’ oh yes ! Characters every where Lucas Garage looks a good job for the Truck Cheers Chris
Seems that you have a great new place, more country living than your last place. A good catch of fish, may I ask how far you are from Pattaya, say Central Festival. Anyway enjoy your new place, and oh it's been a while since I have heard Mayberry, Mount Pilot.....
How is that side car is working out? Looks like Lan likes it! The new place is shaping up. Looks great! Can't beat a day out fishing. How are the nights? Quiet?
Need rods and reels,? I got plenty, I could send a couple to you. I see you were with the Gary Yamamoto of Thailand. Do they do any beach saltwater fishing? Thanks Lucas
The Thai guy who tells the girls he is from Hawaii, most girls I bet don't believe him! His Thai accent when he speaks English is so heavy, and the ways he constructs sentences in English is such a give away most girls wouldn't believe him.
The occasional tilapia is fine, but as an American I'd avoid alot of it. Lan is probably fine with it. Tilapia is high in omega-6s, as opposed to, say, salmon which is higher in omega-3s. The typical American diet you're getting too much omega-6 as it is. But can be a tasty fish indeed.
In the UK, you get 1 day of sun. The next day it rains and everyone say's, we need it for the garden. Fish here on Rhodes (Greece) it's the same. Size doesn't matter. Thank god for that!
Is there clean water (you can export it sort of clean) you can fish for free there? We have water that you can see 10m+ deep like its glass, glazier melt is so much cleaner. 27 pound salmon, big jack trout are on the cards here. 15 pound for salmon & 5 pound for trout is good eating
When we where going fishing to get worms we would pou sappy water into the ground r just get flour and mix it with water make our own dough it’s great way to relax 😊😊
It’s hateful to c the rain u could sell ice cream in that wonton o we have cheese &oin salt&vingaerroast 🥩 they r the best sellers nice with a 🍺 I like beside Loughview Ernest’s good for fishing when I was 14years we went fishing every day but we grew out of its good to c u catch something 😊😊
@Rides4Kickz if you can get them to get used to you for 4 or 5 days basically showering them with money gifts they more than likely will get used to you and you can dial back the money and they'll still stay with you as long as you're giving them something. I've done it with several different girls. Works mostly with girls that are 30 and above
I agree. Especially up north where the lake fish sometimes have parasites that get into your liver and can cause cancer. Freezing apparently doesn’t kill them and only certain types of thoroughly cooking them does.
Hey Lucas & Lan!! A beautiful example of Thailand's natural landscape! WOW! the intensity of the rain there is quite a sight to behold. Mother Nature at her best! Good analogy Lucas; the Mayberry reference. Promising day catching your dinner, along with the edible vegetation. A simple life is the most gratifying. Lan is quite resourceful, the classic Asian woman. Very interesting video! Stay healthy and safe
Looks like a bit more gravel in the driveway required..........anyone would think it is rainy season over there..... 😃😃 Fish size looks like it's bait, not what one eats....... 🤣🤣....cheers Jorgo ..... hehehehe just like the wife's mum, always plastic in the charcoal .....ouch !!!!
Nothing like the simpler things in life. Great video despite the rain. Continue to enjoy life Lucas & Lan
Loucous, you cracked me up when you brought the seasoning out before the fish were even cleaned. The look Lan gave you was priceless!!
Never too early 🤣👍

Amazing bakery! That's something. Good find. ;) Stay dry.
Good catch there sir, thanks Lucas.

Speaking of catch looks like you caught a good girl catches fish cleans em and cooks em up your doing good 👍 Thanks for taking us along ❤
There is a small Makro in Ban Phe down on the water where the piers to go to Koh Samet are. It is small but very handy
👍👍👍

We always go out on the wooden charter boats fishing not far from Hua Hin……fun video today!
Nice, do you get a good catch?
@@Rides4Kickz always a bunch of smaller fish along with some decent groupers…….my wife (Thai) keeps and eats everything though😆

Yes, correct.

🌅🌧Thank you very much for sharing great video take care 🌅🌨🎗
🙏🙏🙏
I enjoyed today's episode Lou, you found something else to keep you occupied. The shed looks good thanks to Lan 's son for his help. Bye for now.
Thanks Mike
Nice vlog. Grazie
I love it "She got a lot of fish to clean"....
That looks like fun I love fishing. inland lakes or Ocean shore.
A bit of rain wont stop me either.
Nice 👍👍
Looks like you are enjoying the sidecar ❤
That's the way to enjoy life
Charcoal is expensive in Los Angeles California! Small bag around 6.00 and big bags 12.00 usd
the car port/parking area came out really neat.
Thanks 👍👍
Interesting characters always make for great content! Maybe you can get some fun stories from that OG. 😅
You're vlogs sure make me wish I was 15 years younger.
How you finding it out there in the sticks Lucas, nice to get out into the countryside I should imagine, good luck with the new home.
How is that side car is working out? Looks like Lan likes it! The new place is shaping up. Looks great! Can't beat a day out fishing. How are the nights? Quiet?
Yeah John, works great 👍
Love the Andy Grifith comparison.
Cheers mate,
🙂
Need rods and reels,? I got plenty, I could send a couple to you. I see you were with the Gary Yamamoto of Thailand. Do they do any beach saltwater fishing? Thanks Lucas
Yes, they do, we will check that out soon. Also I have a funny story about the beach fishing here from back in the day.
need a boat to get to the truck, another mini project for you? Glad to see your settling in to the new area
Love the Andy Griffith analogy. I ‘m a big fan of the old show so I quickly got the joke. But too bad I don’t look Hawaiian.
😂🤣👍👍
Good for you Lucas 👍 🐟🐠
Smart move getting out of Pattaya!
Oh its a two truck shelter one for the Batt bike and one for the truck 😀
👍👍👍
Lucas. Do you not gut the fish first before cooking 😮🙏🙏
Glad to hear you guys finally moved out of the rat race of Pattaya (Mt Pilot). Hope you guys are happier there in Mayberry!
Mayberry? Mt. Pilot? Grandpa...what's that? ha ha!
Lan o Lucas you must go try fishing Arapaima. Are there any places around Pattaya where you can get that fish.👍
Not sure about that around here, but I know what you mean, they are monsters. The big Monster park I visited in Buriram a couple years ago had them.
what's the long range forecast , I'm due in Saturday week and I'm hoping it settles down by then
Mid to high 80s for temps and chance of thunderstorms every day for the next week.
@@Rides4Kickz cheers
Nice 1 Loucous, ich hoffe die Brötchen waren so lecker wie in Wiesbaden 55 cheers 😊
They are 👍
I am so addicted to those Kao Soy chips my local (7) here in CM keeps them in stock for me 😁

Showering girls with money and gifts is just setting yourself up for a fall. Start as you mean to go on.
And GOLD
Need to make some crab cakes!
Nice
Lucas, if you go to the beach, do you need a fishing licence there?
Are those mosquito bites on your face? Dermatology treatment? Leprosy? 😂
Not pleasant watching for a vegetarian, Lucas. And since you mentioned Vietnam, those netted fish in the water had me thinking of Deerhunter, lol...🙂
does that make LUCKY tailor ' Floyd the barber & Mr Phil as ' Barney Fife '
Lol, something like that 😂👍
Mayberry to Mt. Pilot... 😂
I used to travel through North Carolina and a bit of trivia; Mayberry is actually Mount Airy and Mt. Pilot is Pilot Mountain.
DUNKIN’ in Thailand….. I may be moving there.
Kind of pricey though, about 85-90 cents per donut, but you can get a deal on a dozen, especially in the afternoons.
@@Rides4Kickz Lucas, that may seem expensive to you but here in Florida donuts are $1.69 each.
They look like the fish we catch that fin on there back can give u a jag😊😊
yes, for sure
Nothing like good ol melted plastic to get the fire going 😂
I'm thinking the same thing, nothing like burnt plastic taste on your food. Toxic chemicals
What is the address or name of the German bakery?

Sound like a good day outand nor expensive at all even when getting the rods there.
Is the price at Floyd's still 25cents for a cut?
90 cents for a shave and a hot bath 😂
