I agree too. I went there as a kid, but nothing beats the old Toys “R” Us to be honest, but still, this is a good thing.

I think this is awesome!! I haven’t been to this one yet, but hopefully I could see this one of these days! At least this video is showing what’s in there! I miss going to Toys R Us, especially since the one I went to as a kid unfortunately died out and is completely abandoned or something.
Thank you so much for watching!! I agree, it’s pretty awesome having our childhood toy store back! I just hope they end up doing more with it! Maybe it’s own floor for a major Toys R Us like this one (or it’s own standalone store)! I don’t know how smart that would be financially though since I’m not a smart businessman lol
I love it! I would have loved it more if it wasn't just a section of a floor, 3 sections of floors would be better, more toys and the babies r us would be included, such an nice comeback!

I was a near Toy R US kid. I live near enough to Utica I went to the area and saw a Toy R US/Kids R US when I was an old kid 9-11, preadolescent age. If 8 is young child, then over 8 but still a kid's an old kid. Late '90s or early 2000s for time I was that.

I’m sure! I could only imagine! Especially with all the different stores selling toys and video games, like Target, Best Buy, Walmart, and Amazon! Sometimes at better prices!

Haha I agree with you! I’ve seen a small Toys R Us section inside of a few Macy’s in Long Island and Yonkers (both in NY). Hopefully they’ll start getting them into more and more Macy’s nationwide!
I was there and it said toys r us was in there and it wasn’t open yet the signs were up😭 so I didn’t get to see it
You’re not missing too much. Though I’m sure you’ll find some toys in there that you can’t find elsewhere! It’s open now, so take a look at it sometime!!

It’s not Toy R Us, without it own store. Is just another toy area like any other store in my opinion.

not really it carries the brand name but its it lacks toy brands that you see in toys rus store . specially this days children seems are more declining in getting toys after a certain age the incline towards electronics like tablets phones and video games. so this store toys rus should niche to toward older audience . this audience collects brands like neca , hasbro marvel legends , transformers , super 7 , flametoys , mafex , mezco , threezero , hottoys , and other brands that create higher end actionfigure collectibles.
Sucks… old toys r us nyc was best than Macy’s because old toys r us had 4 floors and a Ferris wheel inside at time square street. It was amazing
Yeah it was beautiful!! That old store had a whole section for video games, Legos, a big Barbie house upstairs… It was massive and I loved it as a kid! Especially the Ferris Wheel! Hopefully they make a toy store like that someday!
I could fly up to new York just to visit Macy's from 3 to 4 hours and get on the plane and fly back to atlanta.

Let s be honest, if you're kids are like you , he or she doesn't want to play with outdated toys . I don't know about you,
But when I take my niece and my kids to wallmart they seem more interested in electronics than toys 🧸 .

I definitely see what you’re saying and somewhat agree with you. Luckily, my daughter still likes her toys and dolls. Once she gets older though, I’m sure she’ll like the electronics and video games more! Very interested to see how this new Toys R Us idea works with Macy’s!

It is! The front of Macy’s doesn’t look like that anymore, but you can still find that Toys R Us on the top floor!
