Seeing Ciccone decked out in polka dots riding this on the last stage was incredible! Would have loved to see it on an Emonda however but still an amazing job by Trek. Now I kind of want to repaint my new Madone 😂
No because the Emonda wasn't seen in the Tour this year because this year's Tour was flatter than previous tours. So the Madone is the bike they chose because aerodynamic gains matters more.
My friends love Trek bikes. I have to admit their paint jobs are "chef's kiss". Wish Mads got the Green jersey , too. That colorway would have been insane, too. I get bike envy as my friends ride away from me on their newer Treks while I rolling on my 2008 Fuji. 😁
May look amazing styles but paint quality is shocking, I wish I checked be4 I got my 2k Mtb , had it only 5 months and now got some parts of the paint off right down to the alloy and carbon frame
wow amazing, that means madone has replaced emonda as a climbing bike. but correct me if I'm wrong, did Ciccone really not use Emonda to win the KOM title this year?
Since the tour was flatter, the Madone was the optimal choice for the riders and the last stage was going to be ridden on the Madone too - had to make the final stage stand out!
The same are seen on the women's bikes in TDFF. Maybe the usual aerobars they use are custom made for the riders or these ones are much quicker to swap.
I've been a team mechanic for many years & as such we get used to the latest fashions of hidden cables, cluttered cockpits, electrics, disc brakes etc. When working away from the team, I take great pleasure in building older frames/bikes from the frame up. Only thing I'd say is a good team mechanics work is long hours & hard work, not to mention stressful & undervalued, but regardless one should be happy in their work.
Don't like the seat post set up - obvious weak point and hate the hydraulic disk brakes - setting you up for a skid and fatal crash in the wet - good looking bike which gets a definite rejection for structural design, frame strength and rider safety - LOOKS NICE - good looking death trap with obvious serious structural design flaw
Aside from the polka jersey, only 1 stage win and 14th overall in teams classification, not to mention general rider classification - no one in the top 10. Trek bikes are pepega 🐸 and Ciccone bailed you guys out this year at the tour

Ciccone was Mad’s lead out for the final stage, hence the Madone.
This year was flatter. So no Emondas.
Call me crazy but wouldn't it make more sense if it was the Emonda?
Agreed but the final stage was flat and they were trying to win that. He was the lead out!

@@diehardbikesthey had emondas during mountain stages
They want to sell more Madone, cuz Emonda is already top selling one.

I'd prefer paying down my house instead of buying a 10K bike lol
@@harryscarisbrick2457i have had 5 trek bikes. And they have been battered by rocks and mud. Yet it hasnt happened to me. Have you tried invis.
Nice to see Time pedals back in action.
Time pedals now owned by SRAM, so probably we will see them on all SRAM sponsored teams
Awesome :)
Nice !
Che bella 🤩 🇮🇹
Looks awesome!
Now, could you please recall the Domane SL 5 Gen 4 and fix the slipping seat posts?
Try a google search and see how big the problem is.
Bike p**n 🔥
Category “Outdoor” (given the fact that this video was made on the French Countryside)

very interesting to see them using an unbranded version of the new force gruppo...
It's the team edition of sram red.
Time pedals? Didn't know they were back in the peloton? Owned by SRAM so I understand that
Build manual says no carbon paste on the post but they’re using it. What’s the deal?
Needs polka dot handle bar tape!
That could be arranged!
The mechanic doesn't seem happy in his work. Atleast that's how he looks.
Oh he loved it, but he is all business
what handlebar/stem combo is that? it seems different from the catalog. thanks.
The same are seen on the women's bikes in TDFF. Maybe the usual aerobars they use are custom made for the riders or these ones are much quicker to swap.
The stem looks like the Bontrager X.X.X. stem, which has been replaced by the Bontrager RSL Blendr Stem.
I was thinking the same: no integrated handlebar/stem combo? I guess the team mechanics agree those are too much of a pain to work on 😂.
What saddle is that?
It’s a Bontrager Aeolus RSL.
Hmmm, no carbon paste on the seat post mast per Trek.
Beautiful but also unaffordable 😭
"Promo SM" ✌️
what a f***ing hassle, bikes 10 years ago must've been a pleasure for mechanics to work on, now it just seems like it's a pain in the a**. :(

There you go, use the most irritating design to fuck with competition...

What about their downhill and xc teams though. Evie richards. Kade. Jolanda
