AI will never replace live narrators
I get a chuckle on the different pronunciations of the same word. And the words on screen being wrong too. If the AI could make it like a radio drama with effects and different voices, it might be entertaining.
There is one out there though it seems that sounds kind of like Levar Burton. I also find it hilarious to hear it read scifi stories cause of star trek/read rainbow.
This must be the 8th story i listened to where weapons “ tore through the enemy like tissue paper”. Ai writing is AI

It’s a very common phrase in these Reddit stories, sadly the older stories are way better before people started using too much ai
That and the name Retribution is also commonly in the AI stories

This has been a great series of stories. I liked how the first story gave us three possible endings to the story. We have seen living alien probes around our planets atmosphere over the last seven years, not just matalic ones.
I didn't realize I had listened to this story once already till I got to this part. 1:04:59 I decided to make a comment and what do i find. I already had made One the first time I listened to this story. So I'm going to stop listening to this One right here and go find another story that will hopefully be a lot better.
These are like cowboy movies, all the same, but entertaining 😊

Captain Adams comes into contact with an unknown enemy. A chill runs down his spine. So he must defeat this enemy, but at what cost? Then there is another unknown enemy, and a chill runs down his spine. So he must defeat this enemy, but at what cost? Repeat this x7 and the end.

This AI just doesn't get it, the human hero miss a major point when giving his speech to the council.
The supposed test, was a unprovoked attack on a civilian target, and then they (the bad guys) had stated that they were going to destroy the human race. And even with all that, and against the ( bad guys) having better tech and huge space stations and much larger and more powerful ships, they get their buts kicked.
And when the humans are following a wounded cruiser, the bad guy calls and says it was test, which stops the pursuit, and any possibility that the humans could find the bad guys home world and destroy it. Which would be the minimum response to their destroying a human colony for no reason other then a test. Well then the earth governments would have been more along the lines of let's start building, and the plans that were to nasty to use them on humans, we can use them now. And if the captain was from north America, then they would have just glassed the bad guy's planet. Need to have that AI reprogrammed, and have it study history.
Good grief. I can go the rest of my life now without ever hearing "grim determination" again.

Such a small humanity. How small? One man discovers the new enemy. Same man informs all of Earth. Same man leads the counterattack. Same man leads spy mission. Same man kills the enemy principal. Blah blah. Made for Star Trek.
Another cookie cutter story. Another story where they have this battle for the control center or bridge. Or whatever you gonna call it.Win out and then 5 seconds later. Repeat the entire thing, but with slightly different circumstances. Except of course they take the bridge destroy the whatever that they need to destroy. This happens at about 1 hour or so into the story. One or two comments by others about possibly AI writing story. Which I am starting to wonder about myself.

AI is slowly but surely destroying UA-cam. These stories would be much better if told by an "ordinary" human narrator rather than by these droning voices that break sentences in the wrong places and put you to sleep half-way through. I've listened to a few of these SciFi tales, but I've had enough. I don't in fact understand the need for AI when the real thing is so much better.
The reason is to allow people who should not write stories to have the AI do it . Then, someone else takes the credit, a human. LOL
