    You have no idea how much easier it makes it for a non-reader when you DO play the full chord (even quickly) during your tutorials. So many times it’s frustrating guesswork for some of us when we can’t hear it (and have learned everything else by ear). So Thank You for doing that!

    I looked at other guides to this song, and by FAR, your chord interpretations (or should I say reproductions) are far more elegant, and accurate. There are some incredibly beautiful chord nuances here and you captured them all.

    Thank you for this. It's a fine rendition. Note that there are more bars to the intro (maybe there was a 45 and "album version"). (I'm going by v=52-EkZRnG2E and Chopin is v=JgpPk4ooo7E or v=1chVdUgTJS8 or v=SHa0_h8ALK4 or v=0Hq3wCCTKws)
    I learned a ton here. Way to go finding that raised 5th! Most of all you gave me the F-sharp on the word Magic. I've struggled for weeks to get something that worked. I had tried an open E-flat and was limping by with A-flat but my world became complete once I added the F-sharp on top. Thanks to you!
    BTW it's a little hard to see exactly which keys are depressed. I appreciate your going to the trouble of explaining which is the top note or top left note. It's also extremely helpful - and time-efficient for your teaching delivery - when you roll the individual chord keys (left separate than right is even better). I know, I should already know what "half an F minor" means, but seeing the notes rolled one at a time really clinches the deal. (and not too fast a roll, if I can be a real princess about it!)
    Thaaaaanks!

    Do you recommend any sheet music for this song? I’ve seen where they don’t have the full introduction to the song.. You certainly play it beautifully.

    • @LetsEnjoyPiano
      @LetsEnjoyPiano  3 роки тому +1

      Thank you Elaine that's one of the greatest songs ever written with the help of Frederic Chopin and Barry Manilow put it together you can go on musicnotes.com they have different Arrangements and you can get one that appeals to you the original sheet music by Barry Manilow is what I work from I bought it 1976 and that should be on musicnotes.com and most of my tutorials are done from a lead sheet which is just the chords & the melody and then that's where my book comes in teaches you how to to improvise & fill in areas that are missing ! In other words you can Custom Design songs for yourself.... hope this helps

    Ah - It sounds Gothic - I hear in the post - well the intro is a copy of a well known classic piece Chopin Prelude OP 28 No 20 - in C minor - ua-cam.com/video/XeX4X_1_lo0/v-deo.html The wiki url also mentions this..en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Could_It_Be_Magic Donna Summer and "Take that" done a cover of this song later on. The sheet music is free from here - musescore.com/classicman/scores/75311

      Yes mr. Submarine Barry Manilow took the Chopin Prelude and since its public domain it can be used and created could it be magic
