I love how most of the material he uses is free material. Pallets, nails etc. Things are coming along nicely, structurally sound, costing him basically nothing. A definite meat eater. Lots of healthy herbs and who doesn't appreciate a good cigar after a hard days work. I'm center of a huge city. I'm envious.
Well built and additions constantly being made. This is what being a free man is all about. I'm envious. This cottage has the possibility of being whatever this man wants it to be. No time schedule to get it done.
I love it. A man up the road built a one bedroom house with pallets and recycled and donated materials. Beautiful house near the lake. Had to sell it during covid-19, but for a huge amount of money.
Hey man, you really do good job. I love the nature sound and so quiet at the time. You really inspired me. Building the cabin, cooking and gardenning is a really good combination. Just recently subscribed. Thanks.
Echt cooles Projekt. Das Häuschen ist Hammer geworden Den Tisch/Wasserstation würde ich irgendwo vom Haus weg aufstellen so dass es für sich einfach schöner wirkt
This is such an awesome video Engin, well filmed and edited plus the story behind it is amazing 🙂 Good luck with your project, I'm sure the property will look just like the one from My Self Reliance 😁✌
Hello Sir. How are you? I really enjoy your videos. But I want to know what is that compound that you keep on the big planter that you spray on your plants? And what is it good for? Thank you so much for what you doing. Mildred.
It is made out of Nettles. It make fertile soil, and is a ‘dynamic accumulator’ that supports the soil with minerals, including nitrogen (N), silicon (Si) and iron (Fe). Rotted down in rainwater makes a nutrient-rich liquid fertilizer and a natural repellent against lots of critters.
That's such a cute little cabin! What's the square footage? Will you show the inside in a future video?.. btw, would you by any chance know the name of those orange and black bugs at the beginning of this video?.. my husband was little curious. Thanks! 👍🏼
Hey Ivy, Thank you for your interest, the bugs are Fire-coloured beetles or otherwise known as eyelash bugs. They are the beetles of the Pyrochroidae family, which includes the red cardinal beetles. Thank you and your husband for watching my videos 🙏
Hi Engin! Einfach ganz große Klasse! Ich bewundere schon immer die Bilder und Storys auf Instagram. Die Entstehung Deiner Hütte hier zu sehen ist großartig👌🏻 LG Tobias
Dude, I have a rule: Once someone shows a close-up of a Snail or a Slug, I quickly scroll down until I can't see that horrifying creature anymore; I post a scathing commentary and then I never watch ANYTHING that person posts ever again. I DON'T NEED for something to restart my Nightmares about these horrible things once more!
Beautiful 😍 Loved the video. Well done. 💪 Thanks for sharing. Subscribed to follow your adventures #706. We make adventure videos too, don't forget to check us out. I hope our channels grow together. 👍
You should really think twice about using wood from skids for cooking. You don't know where and what they've had on them or what might have leaked into the wood. Other than that really cool build!
Thank you for your concern. The wood is not treated (Its only heat treated). But If I do BBQ on a grill I use always carcoal. The wood is only to start the fire.
did you start filming from foundation of cabin? most of the time thats the way you do it. never do a job an saythis is how i did it. those videos are not worth watching. because you dont learn a thing.
Yes, I know. Unfortunately, I wasn't planning to do a UA-cam series from the beginning and I uploaded most of the content only on my Instagram. If you want to check some more details you can visit my Instagram story highlights called "The Camp".

Thank you for the positive support. I appreciate that and I am very happy to have People like you to watch my videos. God bless you.
I swear a Sawzall was made to take pallets apart! Definitely was a game changer to me!
Oh yeah. Sometimes its very handy. I do use it sometimes. But batterylife is not last long enough. So I also use a lot the hammer method :-)
Very nice video, thanks for sharing.
Love the cabin, right up my alley! Blessings
Glad you enjoyed it
You are doing your own thing, the homemade wagon is a nice touch. The garden and window planter, you pretty much thought of everything, great job.

Great job! I do this in my cabin!
I love your ability to built this pallet house!!! You are inspiring

Thank you Alberto. I try my best.
I can’t work without the cigar, nice job!
A cigar makes it more enjoyable. But dont recommend it though :-) Better to stay clean and healthy
@@engin_senli been at for 67 yrs too late to change now :)
put corner boards on first then put the siding up to it!!

Danke Matthias, ich hab die Wasserstation tatsächlich weiter weg aufgestellt. Es wird dann in zukunft Teil einer Außenküche 👍👍👍
Looking sharp I like it
Thank you Wally :-)
I would love to have a pallet Timy house. Well done.
Thank you for the positivity.
Very good at the mountain
Hola saludos me encanta como va quedando esa casita. ❤💙
Hola Saludos :-)
Stop using that girl scout water to start your fires! lol! Bad ass cabin though!
Looks amazing 🙂👍
Where did you get that nice Lil chopping axe you have there.!? The one you use to chop off before start a campfire .! Cool axe 🪓
Its a handmade axe by Heimo Roselli from Finland.
Pallets are great if you paint 'em real thick!😟😀🤙☀️⛵
Oh yeah, not the best quality but with care they should survive some years. I will put a thick layer of weatherproof color before winter.
Beautiful land! Where abouts?
Thanks, its in Germany
@@engin_senli Very nice craftsmanship! I was told that Germany is lovely, and I see why. Is acreage expensive there?

Ha Ha Ha Thank you Nihad, I hope it will get nice. My Self Reliance is a very big Inspiration.

Yes it’s a pallet house. One question though. Are they any logs in it?
No, there is only pallet wood in it. No logs at all.
If I could, I would make a cabin in the forest, just to get away from it all, I would trade a City for a cabin in the middle of the forest 😊
Thats what cabinlover think all... Exactly.
@@engin_senli This place you are in is where I am, I am a forest lover, I love nature, and everything that is beautiful.

Richtig geil! Ofen kommt noch rein oder? 🔥 Viel Spaß und Ruhe mit der Hütte. Grüße
Hi Julius, Dankeschön. Ein Ofen ist geplant. Hoffe noch vor den ersten Frosttagen.
Hello Engin .Where are you from?
Germany, with turkish origins
@@engin_senli I was born in Germany at 1973 and my family returned Turkey at 1984
Disappointed that there's no footage of the beginning, ( no I don't do instagram. ), however the saving grace is the alcohol and creme brulee torch.
Yeah, I know its disappointing but shit happens ;-)
How many pallets did you need to do this?
I didn't count but probably more then 100
Smacks axe into rock! dump fuel on fire! no effn around Eh!
Great job and good use of recycled materials, looking forward to seeing more of the work done in the future, enjoy the journey:)
