I have a motor that has a white wire included with the 5 hall sensor wires. My replacement controller does not have a white wire. after connecting everything power but the motor does not move.
Your front motor seems to respond to the throttle just a touch quicker than the rear motor. I would probably swap the controllers round so the faster responding motor would be on the rear. Nice project😎, us e-bikers never seem to stop modifying or playing with things all the time. My bike will probably never be completely done as I'm constantly adding or improving things to make it better. Also, e-bike tech just keeps on getting better all the time☺. I wonder what will be the next "must have" in the near future.😁
So i have an issue maybe you can help. My electric scooter fried the battery for idk what reason and i ended up buying an escooter hub kit but it does not fit on scooter its way too big so i cut the wires and put the connectors on the old motor cause it still looks good inside. I turned it on and it worked! I thought it was a success but it would not stop running even with throttle not moving so i turn it on and off a few times and then it wouldnt power on anymore. So i unplugged the battery and plugged it back in but it sparked and fried the connector “i have more” but when i looked carefully one of the connectors that you connect from motor kit to controller has an extra white wire and i just taped it down thinking it wont be an issue. But i have a feeling its because the controller and old motor wheel are not compatible. Or am i doing something wrong? Please help.

Hi there can’t you do a 3000w pwm controller to a brushless motor 3 phase wire using a 48v 20A , tricking bike controller that I ‘m using a higher Amp battery
My scooter goes reverse on the back wheel. The yellow green phase and yellow green halls makes it noisy but it’s working if the front is activated and not make the EEWWW noise and I did tons of trials. Can I share the front halls to the back? OrherwiE normal wiring stock like it’s wiring color matches worked but burns from back and front on the opposite way
I was thinking about using the 16-22 size crimp on bullet connectors for my 6 hall sensor wires. Then I could just plug and unplug them. (for easy testing purposes) Do you think that is a good idea ?
Did you say you joined phase lines from controller, but then the phase lines changed again to the motor? I got my motor on a trike to spin but it won't move if I even hold it back with a finger never mind me sitting on it, so just wondering if the phase lines change again to motor and how they know as it's only wire? Haha, obviously I'm not an electrician or "trician" of any kind. Thanks from England for the video.
Given my Chinese conversion kit didn't come with instructions on which phase wires go where, is there any way to kinda get an idea, or do we just always gotta just put it together and give it a little go to see if it works and retry??
first setup of the phase and hall wires? i start out with this formula H-YY-BB-GG P-YY-BB-GG if your lucky it work. if not try H-YY-BG-BG P-YY-BG-BG AND SO ON.
Whats your battery voltage? I don't see the point of loading the bike up with 2 motors and around 3000W + of controllers and motors if your not planning to either climb extremly steep terrain or plan very high speeds with higher battery voltages. Might as well save the weight and the amount of items drawing power and just go for one motor and one controller. i'm going one 1500W motor and controller with 72V nominal (84V max) for high speed and for lower speeds and more power i would choose a lower voltage and lower voltage controller but a high power one for hill climbing.
