I need your help. I have Carrera ebike I am trying to install throttle but I am facing E21 . I removed the crank sensor which is already dead. What do now ?
Power The battery may not be supplying enough power to the controller. This can happen on Rad Power Bikes, Ride1UP, and Aventon ebikes. Speed sensor The speed sensor may not be working properly, which can prevent the bike's pedal assist from working. This can happen on mid-drive ebikes. Current The motor current output may be too high, causing the controller to shut down to prevent overheating. This can happen on Aventon ebikes, especially when climbing for long periods with maximum pedal assist turned on
This helped a lot as my eBike has a 3 pin connector to the motor & nothing works but the battery & connectors are hot. No continuity on any of the 11 pin main harness connector. The PAS if connected should activate the motor it looks like with or without turning the control screen on the 5 pin connector on.
Thank God, i was watching this and several other videos on bad Hall sensors and i just checked my motor wires again more closely and found that one of them just disconnected, I'd thought I shorted out some wires because they melted but it looks like one just came apart, the big yellow wire going to the hub motor. So, morel of the story is check all connections first which I've known forever. Thanks.

@@SaamE-bike interesting because my screen showed 5 speeds and would have a top speed of 45 mph but now that the screen has broken and I removed it the bike only tops out at 39mph and accelerates much slower than before? Any idea what the issue maybe

I have a 250 W E- bike regular controller. I wanted to use the s. W 900 for display on that, but it doesn't have the same pin outs as the controller. It came with anyway. My hall sensor wires broke yesterday and I got no time to wait for parts. I'm hoping I can just take those off. And it will work the same. I have pedal assist Wires did.I had to tuck up because the controller?I have for it now.Doesn't have that just high low and mid rain speed.I guess my point is, can I just take these hall sensors off and use the pedal assist as a throttle if I connect that to the throttle or can I use my twist throttle?Still sorry about the wrong question
As far I understand your hall sensor connection is damage right, if so then you can only use 3 pass wires blue green and yellow.. it will work some controller if is dual mode controller..

Hi yes u can... some controller has 2 single cable white or blue. If is there fast switch on your bike upside down then connect those cable for 2 seconds will run 🏃♂️ forwthenas soon is spin u can remove... or you swap 3 motor cable
Hello. I am going to travel tommorow and take the controller-display back to my home city, so that I have it checked to an electronic friend. Should I ride the e-scooter without the display,using your method, until it is fixed? Or is this method harmful for my e-scooter? It wont even turn on with damaged display, should I do this trick, or better wait until display is normally fixed and placed again on me bike? Thanks. (its like a normal motor in size and shape, see the sporty e-scooter as well)
@@SaamE-bike Ah Ha the light just lit on what you mean on dual controller to use the thumb throttle & the cadence sensor I hear it called or PAS or foot throttle is my term. Just got a spark connecting the controller to the 48V battery so that a good sign of controller life right? Even with the battery turned off at 4-7V anyway.
@gauravjoshi9183 fast u can try with swapping 💚 blue 💙 and yellow 💛 motor cables.. and check there is any single cable white or blue.. if don't work i gas your controller is single mode not dual..
@@SaamE-bike my controller is dual mode controller.. But the motor locking at low RPM is a major issue when gives a sudden jerk. My motor is geared motor.. I pedal as hard as I can but it locks at times
Nice Video but what you say is not always through i think....so my display and a lot of others have no blue and red wire....like these ....APT/No.2/S5/Bafang protocol: It’s 5pins out from controller and display, which display could be adjustable for setting lots parameters, like wheel size, motor poles, voltage etc. This design more suitable for ebike, electric bicycle application. 🤔

My priest has a hell sensor, but my ebike has HALL sensors.

This you need dual mode controller otherwise only work on pedal assist only

how about figuring out how to wire a display to a controller not intended for a display so you can get battery and speed information.

There's a single unused wire for re-learn mode that you have to connect. There are videos showing how to do it.

If u want to use this on scooter u Need dual mode controller or is only work for pedal assist only

Dual mode controller is u can use without hall sensor connector

E 07 is motor problem... check motor cable connector or connection to controller cable might be problem there. If not check motor
