    Power is always related to how many watts are on the input, Doesn't matter if its high voltage or high amps.Nice work ,Thanks for sharing!!

      related yes, but definitely not proportional. motors all vary in efficency from around %40 too %95. i dont hesitate too quote 1000% for my best newman, (however belive its closer too 2000%)

    Fact: Using the word “machine” with perpetual motion, free energy, energy, etc., will give
    it a beginning and an end, making it finite.
    With this new and better understanding of perpetual devices, its meaning
    will need updating in defining it as finite. This way, these devices or machines will not
    violate the laws of thermodynamics, laws of nature, laws of physics, and make
    them patentable. ~Guadalupe Guerra

    Newman's real motor uses a much longer shaft and magnet arrangement along that shaft length, so as to take more advantage of the A field along a very long length of coil wires. Your motor has majority of wire going across the shaft rather than along the length of the shaft. Remember, electrons in a wire are moved when a magnetic field swipes across the wire, not along it's length. Good work though. Keep at it.

      haha yes, that is a good thought, - never occured the magnetism behaved like that. - im pretty sure it will have the same intensity regardless of the geometry ... my new one is twice the size, - i will post when i am finished next week ;=). longer lever arm is what im going for,

    Have you heard of a marx generator? Its a capacitor bank but its charged in parallel and it discharges in series, be easy to get 1,000v out

    What I do not understand is the number of people who were involved with Joe on this adventure of energy and no one next working with Mr. Newman has not reproduced the motor he made when they all know the whole kit and caboodle about the machine.
    Now about the coils you have wound, There has to be a better coil layout to capture the maximum amount of magnetic flux from the spinning magnets. I know the mass of copper in the coil makes a difference at least that is what I would think. But I truly do not know Sir. Just hope your experiment will show you and us all the right way.
    Good luck to you Patrick. vf

    If mass is the trick... perhaps making the rotor more massive... such that it would ramp up more slowly but maintain more torque, and allow you to couple it to a generator?
    I never got started experimenting. Do you have long term goals with this?

    • @patrickwatkinsdirector2388
      @patrickwatkinsdirector2388  5 років тому +2

      i definitely have long term goals with these machines. - and i see it as a lever arm motor. - so you are right about having a long lever.... - i currently have a magnet stack which is round & 25cm diameter, and 44cm-50cm tall. - they are speaker ring magnets from ali baba... but i want too do a few more test machines too figure the coils and electronics out first./// btw. -they accelerate mass dangerously well., and decelerate !!!so we either need too limit current and have protections. - or build it impractically strong

      Newman Motors are Long in length because it wants to make use of greater amounts of permanent magnets. Coil size is significant as well.

    have you tried diametric polarised neo cylinder magnets. they can have an inside diameter for a shaft along the long axis. not sure if they’re more efficient overall but definitely cuts down on wind resistance. nice work.

    • @patrickwatkinsdirector2388
      @patrickwatkinsdirector2388  3 роки тому

      haha good work rodney, wind resistance is not a problem i plan to deal with, just add more power finesse . currently finalizing some thoughts before the next build, doing this with 180degree duty cycle and single transistor

    Does Axel angle for the magnets matter?
    In big eureka the axel was at an angle and turned a pump.
    I'm just wondering if anyone has tried the different angles and if changes the output.

      There are multiple ways to wind the coils, and experimenters should try various coil lengths, thicknesses, magnet depths, and pulse timing. Some versions i've seen use tightly wound bundles, some are single layer. I don't know what is optimal.

    • @patrickwatkinsdirector2388
      @patrickwatkinsdirector2388  3 роки тому +1

      modern brushless motors are great, ... grass is always greener on the other side you know.... but i aimed for massive COP and i got it, - 10-20 easily, although not good value, - currently i have a $600, 30watt pedistal fan that is barley COP 3, because you only get high COP at low power levels.

      How much weight of wire in this model? In reading Newman’s book he maintains weight of copper is everything - more copper, more efficient.. one model design he published stipulates 140# of copper in windings!
