I've heard about the rare and dangerous congenital CIPA condition/ disease. Through your video, I have got a valuable insight into the disease and it's life threatening nature. The sensory receptors in our skin, detect pain or a change in temperature and transmit an impulse (electrical signal), which ultimately reaches our brain. We react by immediately withdrawing from whatever is causing the pain (Reflex action). If this process is impaired, the person is likely to suffer grievous injuries and this can sadly also be the cause of untimely death. In fact there has been a movie in Hindi - 'Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota' (2018) in which the protagonist suffers from this condition, i.e. unable to feel or register pain. I had no idea they also can have intellectual disability. Thank you for taking the effort and creating such useful and informative content for the viewers. The description made an interesting read.
