- Ok first of all i must say (especially dedicated to haters, high driving professor who got 13 years old or more and who only gone here by playstation or then couple of laps in their life 10 years ago)
that this battle on the Nurburgring Touristenfarthen was very very agressive and YES we clearly took some risk.
This was our choice and totally allowed here, anyway we know each other and respected all the other car we overtook, like no head light flashing or right overtaking .
Also important to notice that on that day moyorcycle was not allowed on track.
ANYWAY we made one overtaking on the right at Aremberg (at 2min04 on the video) because that car has an oil licking and he keeped the left to be out of the trajectory of the liquid, as you see the Lambo slided a little bit and for me i keeped the line totally on the right to be safe, that was so an emergency case.
Please Always drive here in the limit of your driving style and ability also if you do ALWAYS have harness and or maximum of security element and a well checked car to be sure about the safety..
My passenger did not wanted an helmet, that was his choice also and driving with out are allowed here.

Water spray system empty (make me loose around 40 horse power, but with that kind of lap with Huge traffic it's not make a huge difference)

If there´s only one helmet, the driver should wear it, because if the passenger is wearing it and he hits the driver with it by shaking inside the car, the driver can go unconscious and they would be in big trouble. If the driver hits the passenger, of course it sucks, but the car won´t go out of control

Nurburgking E30 nope only the first rule and only a little bit, but i must say, it was close in video but not that close in real life.
2/never drive at 100% in tf: if you check my channel i have couple of lap in 7:02/7:04 so then during the lap with the lambo if you remove all traffic the lap is in 7:15 and so 70/80% of my ability, because i have huge progress compare to last year and if i was at 100% i kicked his car for sure
3/always wear a helmet: my passenger did not want (he is major) it it his choice but you will never see me on track with out helmet
4/be sure that the insurance work: my insurance paied me 100% of the gt3 rs and says that i was responsible in my side for 25% of no control so then it is ok and insure me again the gt2 rs and cayman with no problem
5/ don’t park your car close to the crash: till now i did not crash so if we cannot say for now i did not respected it 😅

Amazing race but way too aggressive for a tourist day. Miracle the Huracan didn't crash on a number of occasions.

I think the lambo driver was a skilled driver, no doubt, just too aggressive for the people who were much less skilled on the track!
@@WDLC1911 He definitely has skill, but in situations like these 1 mistake is enough. The way the electronics saved him from a skid at 3:30 is just a simple dumb mistake you should not be making as a semi pro driver. Other than that they're both doing really well.

Those are made for a car to have fun, and experience and enjoy the track, or to get familiar with your car, NOT for racing other cars, and certainly not so reckless!
They have special trackdays for racing!
On touristenfahrten, if a car behind you is faster, or creating a dangerous situation, you have to blink right, slow down , go right, and let the faster car pass!
Touristenfahrten have all drivers in the track! First timers, novices, busses, suv's, certainely not all skilled drivers!
This was a very risky, aggressive, and dangerous session those 2 had

Not just a helmet, the whole car should be swathed in cotton. Though that might not be enough. Perhaps the best thing is not to even go, that way nothing can happen. But its dangerous to watch too, what if someone hits a spectator. Just stay at home and watch over the computer. Cars are dangerous.
And dont forget your helmet today when you walk to the store !!! A bright orange one with a rubber chicken on top! So they see you well even if its dark! And put some elbow and knee pads on just in case.

the perf handles sharper then the porsche but the porsche is a Brute which overcomes that with it's sheer power great run.
With respect to the drivers involved. 1-2 points to think about:
- it is the decision of the passenger not to wear a helmet; but it is the decision of the driver how he drives the lap
- i only drove a few rounds on the Nordschleife since 2017; but what racing line is the Huracan driving? is it important to pick up so much dirt and dust with the rear wheels 🤔
- Phil clearly had to struggle with the car and the track; it was too much movement in the car; for that reason i have to smile about seb's comment: drive in the limit of your own ability
Sebastian, you are a very good driver, as we have already seen in some of your videos. But the idea of battling with the Huracan under these conditions was not good and, in my opinion, below your level.
Usually a fan of your uploads but this is taking it over the limit. All types of drivers go for a relaxed run during Easter weekend, the chance of one of them standing sideways after after a blind turn (like Fuchsrohre) and plowing into them at immense speed is much higher than you may think.
Average driving, too aggressive for TF, red mist etc.
First thing that came to mind: "If you can't afford to replace it, you can't afford to race it". Great to see them pushing these cars, even if they had to get through the common folk. Thanks for vid and phenomenal driving.
That wasn't phenomenal driving after all. You can tell that amateurs were at work here. Zero calm, extremely unsteady driving - the GT2's chassis was devastatingly tuned.

MrDjvas during Touristenfahrten this is actually a toll road. There are even sections with speed limits. It’s absolutely not an all out race track during those sessions!

Note to GT2 RS occupants: Regardless of speed, if your vehicle has more than 1 occupant, you should either both be wearing helmets or both be helmetless. It is extremely dangerous for both occupants to be opposed in head safety. Any roll over or front and rear impact could result in serious head injury to the unprotected passenger from impact to the driver's helmet.
Big fan of your driving Seb but this one was a bit too much. You guys seemed overly excited and not in full control in all situations. I saw moves I don't even see the top VLN guys do

Performante turns in so quickly and looks very pointy... Is this due to its camber set up or are they that agile when stock?
I noticed the turn in as well.
I think the GT2 RS was faster in the curves and Sebastian can definitely brake much later. In multiple occasions Performante braked much earlier than GT2RS and also to a slower corner speed. Once suspension loads, Mid corner speed seems to be equal. I wonder if GT2 RS is a more accessible car compared to Performante. Most probably the driving position of GT2 RS gives a more clear visibility compared to Performante. This might also explain the excessive use of kerbs by Performante driver. He was driving too aggressive in terms of driver input to the car for my taste. Probably very entertaining, but without being smooth, one cannot be fastest.

I have re-watched the video. The Performante might be driven in a similar technique like an AMG GTR. Very darthy.

mixed thoughts reading below... guys, i'm sure you had a great time! Chasing down your friend in the Lambo obviously was going to be fun but should have driven when the track was not so busy. I'm sure you wouldn't have posted the video if you had taken somebody out.. you can see you always did your best to be careful but its not a race and so many things could have gone horribly wrong. Especially for your passenger! What was he thinking.. anyway, glad you had fun.. treat the other drivers with more respect especially if they are new to the circuit.. stay safe.
I really like seeing when the passenger is actually sitting there enjoying, watching and taking it all in and not fumbling with a phone in there hands trying to get some average footage, when you get opportunities like this sit there and watch and enjoy

Great vid and knife-edge driving. My only criticism: make your co-pilot wear a helmet!!!!! Even if he does not value his brain. We only get one head. It is hard to fix, and makes us who we are.

1/ never follow too close the front driver, same than on the road, if you do there is a risk to don’t be able to stop your car in case of problem or crash on front of you.
2/ never drive at 100% during touristenfahrten, always keep a margin especially if the track is busy.
3/ Even if you drive a Dacia Sandero here, wear a helmet.
4/ be sure that your insurance company works on the ring.
5/ THE MOST IMPORTANT!!!
Never stay parked before a crash, even if you want to advertise the other cars or if your friend crashed.
Always park out of the trajectory after the crash or better don’t stop your car and continue!!
And if you stop, as soon as possible go after the security barrier!!

Noticed that too, it looks really loose at times. Then again, they were both giving it some serious stick! 😀
In Corsa (Track) Driving mode the Performante Has 75% of it's power focused on the rear wheels and 25% on the front so its like A rear wheel drive handling All wheel drive car
Finally some onboard that doesn't look like there's a nuclear explosion happening outside.
Perhaps do this on trackdays, not TF.

@@vfr492 The car on the left had an oil leak and the Lambo can clearly be seen sliding all over the place, they are experienced, you should be glad Seb didn't try to put his wheels on slippery oil.

I'd probably drive in that style in a cheap car but not an expensive one, I would be worried about my wallet, so nice to see the value of the cars not an issue. A lot of traffic around that day and people not using mirrors. The Huracan seemed nervous, is that his driving style or how the Performante drives? I would have thought sharp driving inputs would be best to be avoided considering the speed and bumpiness of the track??

You must not have expected much. Performante held the record at the ring for awhile, until GT2RS beat it by 5s. Now athe Aventador SVJ holds the record, 2s faster than the GT2RS

@MelodeathMassacre Well, I knew from the get-go the GT2 RS is a faster car than the Performnate as I was aware of the Ring records of these cars which was why I was surprised it didn't look that much slower while being chased by a GT2 RS.
At 4:17 the Lamborghini cutting that corner cracks the porsches windshield. Probably doing some gnarly paint damage to the front end as well from all the rocks.
Really aggressive awesome driving, appreciate the respect and the good rivalry between both of you, i can't choose a winner vehicle because they are both my favorite 😋🙏

Nice driving but that is nuts on a public driving day, save it for a closed private/club track day. Passing on the grass, mid corner with people that probably have 0 track experience and the closing speed of these cars on regular cars/hatchbacks is dangerous.
Both cars performed well,on straights it’s clear that gt2rs is faster but on corner exits it seems to me very identical.Nice driving Sebastien as always!

The Nurburgring Rules specificially state:
" Racing with motor vehicles is banned in accordance with Section 29, sub-section 1 of the German
Road Traffic Regulations (StVO)."
So racing at trackdays on the Nurburgring is forbidden? Didn't know that. Also, I hope you are aware that numerous racing championships are held at the Ring, so I don't know if you are trolling with that comment.

I wouldn’t want to follow the Huracan. Risky driving, off the tarmac and super aggressive.... it’s a recipe for it hitting the barriers. Massive ego all the way until the end as he had to keep going after you braked.

Hey Sebastian, du bist wirklich echt schnell unterwegs, nur vergiss bitte die Leute nicht die vll nicht so viel streckenkenntnisse haben. Touri Fahrten sind nun mal nicht VLN oder ähnliches. Viel zu schnell kann es passieren das jemand dich nicht sieht bzw euch. Ansonsten wirklich eine spaßige Runde. Und Respekt an den Beifahrer. Nur muss das im Touri Bereich echt nicht sein.

Woow, that was an awesome lap. Already saw Phil's video and tbh I think the Porsche puts the power down better than the Lambo but the Lambo handles a little bit better. Anyway, that was sick and looks like a lot of fun. Glad I found this video!!

Except at 2.05 you both overtook on the right, then again at 7:51 (lambo also undertakes you making 3 incidents), you almost collided at 3:26 and took evasive action which nearly put you into the barriers. At 2:31 despite seeing dust and marks on the grass indicating a car may have left gravel and dirt on the track, you both go full throttle over it without a thought. Multiple times running onto the grass edges, dirtying the track behind and throwing debris onto the track (fucking glad to see it take out your screen). Despite what you said, you do use your indicators to force others to move, blasting up behind them with the left indicator going is putting pressure on the driver.
Both of you should be banned from the ring for that and the far to aggressive racing on tourist day.
No racing, no overtaking on the right.

The GT2 driver is not that bad for knowing the circuit, but the Lambo driver is shit, and they took way too many risks with the braking points in particular. Driving around with a passenger that has no helmet at those speeds make me wonder if these lads have any sense of responsibility.
