@GbMuthu The one that fits in the pouch is a basic S pen which can do air views and air commands but cannot do air actions. To do air actions, you need either the S pen pro, which is too big to fit into any pouch, or the built-in S pen.
If Samsung keeps the battery at 4500mah, i would be highly disappointed. Samsung needs to figure out how to bring down the prices, it is one of the major reasons why people are not buying it
Still not having the S Pen housed inside of the phone is a huge con still. I have not paid for an upgrade since the Z Fold 3 from my old Note 10+. I hold out until I see major upgrades that separate a new model from my current one.

Others can try to argue different points, but it doesn't change the feedback for those who truly care about the quality of these aspects. If we don't speak up about it, then we won't get heard. This is my humble opinion and my feedback on the matter subjectively. Nonetheless, it's one of the various reasons I haven't upgraded in years. Just letting others hear it from another Samsung Galaxy Fold user. 👍🏼

The render is beautiful. I would love for Samsung to not worry about making it thin. Going a little wider would be cool, but any gain in space should be added battery capacity and possibly an s pen.
For all those wanting wider outer display... Why not just get one of the many other folds currently on the market. Why try to take away form factor options? If Samsung makes the fold 7 as wide as the others then wide is the only option in the market.. might as well get s25 ultra at that point.

I was super close to getting the 6 fold, it would have cost me only $480 after trading in my iPhone 14 pro Max plus in-store deals. What stopped me was I couldn't get past how narrow the front display was. I just got the iPhone 16 pro max instead. Depending on what comes out in Jan I'll reconsider switching to the Fold 7.
It looks wonderful! The wider aspect ratio is what I want most. The cameras and thinness don't matter at all to me compared to the screen quality and size. Hope the colors are beautiful, too. 🙂
I just upgraded from the 5 to the 6 & as much as I love this phone & I'm never going back to a regular phone, I expected the 6 to be larger. My complaint is the keyboard. I have big fingers & I run into misspelled words frequently every time when texting because of it. I'm looking forward to that Samsung roll out screen that looks awesome...
Same complaint I have, the outer screen keyboard is just too tight and I end up making tons of mistakes texting. I want a Z fold that has an outer screen the same size as my Note 9 was and the inner can end up whatever it is as a result.
Either this is the z fold 6 ultra that's about to drop in December in Asia or they will be using the z fold 6 ultra and calling it the z fold 7 for worldwide release.
I just upgraded from the fold 3 to the fold 6 at the start of of the year, i opened my fold on dec 28 and got a green line from the center that shot to the right which caused no damage but turn opened it and got a solid black line on the exact center of the crease which killed the whole right side, but Samsung really needs to change the camera rings to something like the note 20 ultra or something similar cuz my standard camera and the optic zoom metal rings can move and 2 out of 3 plastic protective rings fell off

An 8" 2/3 flip phone is what would bring functionality to foldable devices. A single display without the camera notch, single battery and single set of camaras will make it far less expensive. Samsung showcased this concept years ago but still wouldn't make one.

Have a Fold 4 and been wanting to upgrade the last 2 years but there was ZERO incentive to upgrade. I wish they would get over their obsession of trying to make this as small as possible and include an S Pen slot. It's the SE not the FE that got the 200mp camera. Would the majority of people pay an extra $400 for it? I doubt it. I believe the US version will be wider but I'm not sure it's gonna be the SE size and with a 200mp camera.

The outer screen is perfect for one-handed use. If I need something larger I open it.😉 I hope Samsung does not give in to all the pressure to make a large wide front screen. Most of that pressure is coming from people who have never used a folding phone. There are plenty other manufacturers making phones in the larger form factor for people who don't want to purchase a Galaxy fold.
I like to see this have an edge style phone on the Fold7. Can the outer screen be wider as it's longer, the inner part, i guess the same. Now, if we had a sidekick style, a phone similar to the slide version with a digital keyboard. If they can put a pen on the tablet, they can do it for a phone. I have an S22Ultra. The S25Ultra looks good right now.
if the fold 7 is gonna be anything like the fold 6 se then it will not have an under display camera and instead have a cutout like the z fold 6 se currently does. I watched a channel who spent around 3000 to get it imported to them

I'm not seeing Samsung keeping the same design. Fold 6 sales are on an all-time low, so much so that they have recently lost their lead in the foldable market. People keep mentioning the same issues every year: display sizes, camera quality, battery size, and the price. Each year, the competition increases, and samsung lacks behind immensely when it comes to hardware. If Samsung won't make a drastic change with the Fold 7 and release yet another more polished Fold 2, their sales will plumit as people will reach for other brands. I believe that the Fold SE is like a trail run for the Fold 7. They wanna see if it sells well if they actually give consumers what they ask for. If you ask me, either the Fold 7 is going to borrow the design of the Fold SE, or we are going to see a regular and and an SE version of the Fold next year, but the SE will be available worldwide. I dont see a point in releasing a lessened version of the Fold globally each year while keeping the version with all the upgrades consumers have been asking for, exclusive to Asia. It's probably just a one-time thing

They better add the 200mp camera and make it just like the SE otherwise Samsung is dead in the folding industry. its mainly due to physical limitations, and cost management. Things like a periscope camera become harder because of less internal space available, and the phone is already very expensive so they do everything they can to reduce that. as for the fast charge i'm assuming there must be some technical reason or its a cost issue

Now, again, I know how R&D teams work, and I fully comprehend technology. If you go just watch the teardown of ZFOLD3, not a ZFold6, ZFOLD3, and compare the teardown to the S24Ultra, you'd see all the reasons Samsung has no excuses. You can't tell me the shell frame on ZFold6 is worth 1000 dollars alone. Maybe $200-$400 max new hinge included, same battery 4yr running same cost 100max, same Camera 100 max, go look at what it cost to buy the replacement pairs... main display may cost 100-200 max, but none of this to mass produce in production line. Now S24Ultra cost $1299 256Gb/$1419 512Gb/$1659 1tb. The price hike is mainly storage. These companies are greedy and know many don’t know what it costs to make these things. R&D development costs far more than mass production of the final product. This is why I repair my own devices. Labor man hour fees have got crazy high. They charge a 2-hour flat labor fee for 45mins max Labor... plus shipping cost is included in Labor, so they say the shipping is free. This is how the company ship for free now. ZFOLD3 is somewhat like still in a prototype style chassis and look... from processing standpoint, I definitely can tell the difference... Battery wise ZFOLD3 is 4 cylinder that drinks like a V12, whilst the ZFold6 runs like a V12, that sips like hybrid V6, plus the design in person is a thing of beauty 👌 I'm glad I moved on from sluggish at times ZFOLD3. If Samsung still keeps the Z Fold 6 design and put a snapdragon 4 in, I won't purchase one, I need something like the Z Fold SE, however, it is not available in my country, Vietnam. TBH, there're very few choices of foldable phones here and samsung is dominating the market.
Don't care about creases, selfies, or thickness. I use a Z Fold for work. Wider display is the only good improvement. Until the camera is as good as the S series, better battery, and there is an onboard S pen, I will not upgrade. If they drop the Snapdragon for the other chip, I will move to another brand. I don't understand the youtubers fascination with the crease. Such a small price to pay for what this phone offers and could offer for productivity. I wish Samsung would focus and stop listening to the noise.
The hinge design is already a single point of failure that's still being worked on that we worry too much about. We don't want another. I don't wanna have to worry about the hinge and the Hydraulic designs
Very disappointed that it won't be as wide or have the good cameras that the z Fold 6 Special Edition has. Samsung is not listening to its customers in that regard. Fortunately, you say it will be pen enabled for both screens, which is very good.
The SE will be 9 months old when the 7 is released, I too believe it will be sinilar to the SE but improved on. Giving us the same device that was released 9 months prior wouldn't be a good look.
I bought a Samsung Fold4 for £1440 ($1900) in the UK. After 18 months, still in its warranty period, the hinge stopped working and the phone stopped opening up fully flat. When I sent the phone to Samsung for warranty repair, I got an email from an unknown repair shop asking for £600 to repair it saying that a cosmetic scratch on the outer cover of the phone voided the warranty on the hinge which is nowhere near the scratch and they planned to change for screen and battery even though I hadn't asked. It seems Samsung had sent my phone with all its data to a 3rd party dodgy company without my knowledge and now that dodgy company started sending me ransom mails and text messages asking for £600 to return my phone. It took me 2 weeks and many calls to Samsung to get phone back unrepaired. RIP OFF! SCAM! DON'T BUY ANY SAMUNG FOLD PHONE, they are very expensive yet very cheap in quality. BETTER YET, DON'T BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT.

I have the exact same issue. I thought the 6 would have much better results from 4, but hopefully, the 7 will be better.

I like to see this have an edge style phone on the Fold7. Can the outer screen be wider as it's longer, the inner part, i guess the same. Now, if we had a sidekick style, a phone similar to the slide version with a digital keyboard. If they can put a pen on the tablet, they can do it for a phone.

if the fold 7 is gonna be anything like the fold 6 se then it will not have an under display camera and instead have a cutout like the z fold 6 se currently does. I watched a channel who spent around 3000 to get it imported to them

I'm not seeing Samsung keeping the same design. Fold 6 sales are on an all-time low, so much so that they have recently lost their lead in the foldable market. People keep mentioning the same issues every year: display sizes, camera quality, battery size, and the price. Each year, the competition increases, and samsung lacks behind immensely when it comes to hardware. If Samsung won't make a drastic change with the Fold 7 and release yet another more polished Fold 2, their sales will plumit as people will reach for other brands.
I believe that the Fold SE is like a trail run for the Fold 7. They wanna see if it sells well if they actually give consumers what they ask for. If you ask me, either the Fold 7 is going to borrow the design of the Fold SE, or we are going to see a regular and and an SE version of the Fold next year, but the SE will be available worldwide.
I dont see a point in releasing a lessened version of the Fold globally each year while keeping the version with all the upgrades consumers have been asking for, exclusive to Asia. It's probably just a one-time thing

What are u talking about. We want USEFUL STUFF because WE have BRAINS. Micro sd card slot for safety reasons, aux, irda, wider screen, aspect ratio, bigger batteries etc.. they make phones for small chinese people... not for us with bigger hands.
They better add the 200mp camera and make it just like the SE otherwise Samsung is dead in the folding industry. You can't give is the phone that everyone has been wanting(except built in Spen) and only sell it in Korea and China and not release a global version with the ZF7. As far as cost goes that's BS because it's already proven with the SE edition.

I recently upgraded to the ZFold6 from the ZFold3, I was trying to hold out to the ZFold7 but ZF3 was starting to undone itself 😆... but boi is the well worth the upgrade 7yrs of updates supposed too.
I'm waiting for spen integration w/front cover & inner displays support, plus 4750mAh-5000mAh minimum battery. Right now nothing else is warranted from Foldables for me...
its mainly due to physical limitations, and cost management. Things like a periscope camera become harder because of less internal space available, and the phone is already very expensive so they do everything they can to reduce that. as for the fast charge i'm assuming there must be some technical reason or its a cost issue

I have the ZFold6 now,.. only for the 7yrs of updates
I carry two phones daily, my 2nd phone it galaxy note 10 6.3" model because it's the smallest size note in the spen integration family.
ZFold6 has twice the space as note 10 6.3"... I had the note 10+ traded it in way back for ZFOLD3... had fold 3 till last month.
They do not move the needle much.
Now, again, I know how R&D teams work, and I fully comprehend technology. If you go just watch the teardown of ZFOLD3, not a ZFold6, ZFOLD3, and compare the teardown to the S24Ultra, you'd see all the reasons Samsung has no excuses.
You can't tell me the shell frame on ZFold6 is worth 1000 dollars alone. Maybe $200-$400 max new hinge included, same battery 4yr running same cost 100max, same Camera 100 max, go look at what it cost to buy the replacement pairs... main display may cost 100-200 max, but none of this to mass produce in production line.

S24Ultra cost $1299 256Gb/$1419 512Gb/$1659 1tb. The price hike is mainly storage.
These companies are greedy and know many don’t know what it costs to make these things.
R&D development costs far more than mass production of the final product.
This is why I repair my own devices. Labor man hour fees have got crazy high.
They charge a 2-hour flat labor fee for 45mins max Labor... plus shipping cost is included in Labor, so they say the shipping is free. This is how the company ship for free now.
ZFold6 is plenteous in space to include all the S24Ultra spec!

@michaelbmw1931 NO! ZFOLD3 is far worse than the ZFold6, I wouldn't have known if I didn't upgrade... ZFOLD3 is somewhat like still in a prototype style chassis and look... from processing standpoint, I definitely can tell the difference...
Battery wise ZFOLD3 is 4 cylinder that drinks like a V12, whilst the ZFold6 runs like a V12, that sips like hybrid V6, plus the design in person is a thing of beauty 👌

Don't care about creases, selfies, or thickness. I use a Z Fold for work. Wider display is the only good improvement. Until the camera is as good as the S series, better battery, and there is an onboard S pen, I will not upgrade. If they drop the Snapdragon for the other chip, I will move to another brand. I don't understand the youtubers fascination with the crease. Such a small price to pay for what this phone offers and could offer for productivity. I wish Samsung would focus and stop listening to the noise.

The hinge design is already a single point of failure that's still being worked on that we worry too much about. We don't want another. I don't wanna have to worry about the hinge and the Hydraulic designs

Very disappointed that it won't be as wide or have the good cameras that the z Fold 6 Special Edition has. Samsung is not listening to its customers in that regard. Fortunately, you say it will be pen enabled for both screens, which is very good.

I bought a Samsung Fold4 for £1440 ($1900) in the UK. After 18 months, still in its warranty period, the hinge stopped working and the phone stopped opening up fully flat. When I sent the phone to Samsung for warranty repair, I got an email from an unknown repair shop asking for £600 to repair it saying that a cosmetic scratch on the outer cover of the phone voided the warranty on the hinge which is nowhere near the scratch and they planned to change for screen and battery even though I hadn't asked. It seems Samsung had sent my phone with all its data to a 3rd party dodgy company without my knowledge and now that dodgy company started sending me ransom mails and text messages asking for £600 to return my phone. It took me 2 weeks and many calls to Samsung to get phone back unrepaired. RIP OFF! SCAM! DON'T BUY ANY SAMUNG FOLD PHONE, they are very expensive yet very cheap in quality. BETTER YET, DON'T BUY ANY SAMSUNG PRODUCT.
