@@sharuraudio I’ve had Scarlett interfaces since I was 13 getting peak audio, I currently have a 2i2 4th gen, you’re just now getting a taste of what I’ve had for years, you will forever be beneath me
i tried to get an "good sounding" ADC for youtube audio comparisons (not started yet...) and after many youtube comparisons listen to myself on my speakers i settled on the Black Lion Audio Reovolution 2x2 and it was the best choice i made..... even the dac/headphone portion beats most of the stuff under 1k imo, dont let measurements confuse you and give it a shot, i can just recommend it :) unfortunaly im not sure if it exhibits the same mic issue stereo/mono, but personally i would either match the gain knobs and dont touch em or use a software that lets you easly duplicate one track (or well.... using audacity to make a stereo file, it literally takes 20 seconds)
@@sharuraudiohaha try zero latency monitoring with a dac/amp. Bro is the biggest noob ever. He just bought new hardware because he doesn’t understand how to work with mono microphone signals.
Focusrite is the most mid choice anyone can make, been there tried that. At least pick UA (better audio and depending on version better looks) or if you wanna be bougie about it go for babyface rme, top notch for listening/recording. Usual Sharur, can't wait for him to bash it in the next video in about few days time
i also realize you can do this with rme babyface pro fs. The point is that the scarlett solo does exactly what i want at a much lower cost than rme babyface pro fs.
comment not loading for some reason, but yeah you can do the same thing on rme totalmix, i realize, but babyface pro fs is very expensive compared to scarlett solo for no performance gain with high sensitivity condensor microphones for speech.
@@sharuraudio Yep they are pretty close. Bought mine for guitar, so used inst input mostly. Subjectively audio performance on my iems and headphones was better on the volt, compared to Scarlett4. However one additional point is that volt has been so much more stable. Noticed a lot of crashes with Scarlett's 3rd and 4th both windows and Mac. Never had any troubles with volt 2. Firmware wise I'd just call it skill issue. You can do it in daw separately, like reaper (has a ton of routing options). But convenience wise yeah think UA doesn't have that
I have Scarlett Solo 4th Gen and RME Babyface Pro FS right now and I have spent few days compring them side by side and after a while I found that Focusrite sounds better overall. I dont like the sound signature of RME at all. Lifeless, dull and boring. Sounds like sh*t to be honest. I`m gonna keep my Scarlett. RME is about to go to ebay. It is overpriced IMHO!
scarlett solo has +1000 aura
If only Hi-Fi electronics evolved in performance and value like Pro electronics.
What is the difference between higi and pro equipment? Why one over another? Use cases? I m learning

with which of those interfaces can i set it to send a single mic input to both channels on a firmware level?
i guess you could get volt 1, but i checked and the mic input performance was virtually identical to scarlett solo 4th gen
