Def Leppard Forever Outstanding * God I'm so Blessed I was Born in August ' 4th 1980 cause I grew up with The Real MTV & Real Music like this they Rock 🎸🎼😉😁
Looong time fan of DL! My first cassette was Pyromania! Excited to hear this interview, I have never heard them talk about the "B" side of Tear it down before (I call it the Steve Clark version vs the extra sugary Phil version on Adrenalize). Its one of my favorite songs of theirs and hearing Joe dismiss it as a less produced song is probably why I love it. It's like a 1985 release for DL, more refined and commercial than Pyro but not the over produced sound of Hysteria.
Hysteria started very well in Europe, but it took six months for it to really get off the ground in the states. Back then an album could spend time. It was exciting back then. To follow the charts. A single could change everything. The one-2 punch of sugar and love bites made hysteria explode in the states. Here in Europe it was a hit right away so the album was never a flop, it just looked like it might be a three million seller, not a 20 million Mega seller.
too bad if joe does live still in ireland then the facebook page shows off his wife ckearly in that joe elliot facebook so since i dont have a chance with having relationship with joseph and he is not interested in me hard to even listen to def leppard again....donna varall 4/30/17
