People are probably like ‘how can you bring your baby’. In reality, this is how families lived for centuries. Taking their babies on adventures, getting them used to the wind& animals & sun.... great job connecting to your roots!!
I am 80 years old and retired medically. I exist on ssa and wish that I could do more the subscribe to your channel. Your videos are addicting and very enjoyable. Your daughter seems to be adapting to your way of life with ease. Thank you for being you and willing to share.
I really liked that the husband "thanked" his wife for watching the baby and letting him go out spear hunting. The wife was like "of course", but it was just so considerate for the husband to thank his wife. I noticed the wife too expressed she just "loves living on a boat". I'm sure it is not without it's challenges and surely they both made big sacrifices, but they make it work and clearly the adventure is worth it and both enjoying it. Really well suited couple, both very considerate and appreciative of each other,... "happy" doing what they love. Really really happy for them both, and so happy that they are happy and enjoying life. The husband is extremely capable, a smart guy, but holy cow, he learned everything about sailing and how to maintain the boat. I think that goes a long way to his feeling and being safe, managing the risks effectively, that confidence and respect in your husband, ... he's a good, responsible, and capable husband so the wife can feel the safe and relaxed having fun and enjoying their adventure together. You know,... I think before he went to catch those lobster, she was already planning the dinner menu, confident he was going to bring back the catch of the day. Anyway, I'm very happy to see a very happy family living an incredible adventure. It made me happy hearing your story, having a tour of the boat and your chores, both the household stuff and the engineering. Best wishes to both of you and the whole family.
The real marriage is to value and thanks each Others like them and we are following the same. Lets share this with others!🙏 More children deserve healthy parents
At first I was not excited about everyone leaving Delos but now these may be my favorite episodes in years. Kaza Bryan and Sierra are so genuine and wholesome. It's a whole different vibe that I'm obsessed with. I think less cinematic shots and more personality is what I truly missed. This balance is beautiful. Great job to the editors and filmers!! Thanks for bringing us on your journey! :)
@Tony Lopez I don't think it's dreadful at all, it's just not for me and I'm sure they still have a strong audience. I also sincerely wish them all the best, fsck if they're ever in a port close to me I'll buy them a few crates of beer & a box of good red wine. They strike me as good people and that's all that matters at the end of the day. Be nice, it costs you nothing & it will make everybody feel good. Life is short & precious, no need to make enemies as there are enough people out there already keen to fsck you over. Live long and prosper!

I am 62 live in florida and have watched alot of sailing programs on youtube. I like alot of them but have never been motivated enough to give considering I have family and endless needs. however I have been motivated to donate since I am impressed , I have seen a party adventure witch was great, then I have seen respect towards each partner, I have seen great sharing and explanations of what is being experienced. and now turned into a beautiful family with love and respect. Keep it up and enjoy your life continuously. Ron Alter
It's early Feb 2021 and I'm sitting here in the comfort of my music room, sheltered from the 80 degree, cloudless skies outside here in Casa Grande, AZ! You shoot great videos! You have something I don't have....water! AZ is might dry and I'm a waterboy so I like to watch your vids and swim in the pool! I have always dreamed of doing what you do..... continue to enjoy your adventure and stay safe!!
cutest little Sierra! and what a spot you've found, enjoy. Not many people are so fortunate as to find langustine let alone a giant like that - Brian, when you go snorkling alone, try and let go of the snorkel as you dive down. Its all about protecting the airway and diving without the snorkel makes you close your mouth keeping water out. should you black out even in shallow water you won't drown. keeping the snorkel in your mouth as you dive invites a whole snorkel of water to enter as far as your lungs. take care of yourselves and enjoy all that delicious seafood
I:m a retired senior (64) Canadian women ...excellent health ..love kids.....love your Delos videos (only).....I've been around water all my life. ...AND GUYS... on my bucket list ...it says to sail with you guys on Delos lol... I have watched your channel for a few yrs now and , was worried things would not be as interesting . Im glad to say Im still looking forward to your videos each week . Great job and thank you for sharing your Adventures.
I was raised in the Caribbean and sailed solo as a kid and I used to hunt for lobster every day for an after school snack. Clean them at the ocean and tear off one of their antenna and use it to pull the lower intestinal tract out through the back of the lobster. The antenna will have sharp barbs that will catch the vein - it will pull straight out, clean and in one piece. That way you can cook the meat without having to split the tail.
We need to give Brian credit where credit is due to be confident enough with your knowledge base to be able to go out into uninhabited areas like this and pretty much know you can figure anything out that comes your way. That takes a lot of past experience along with his ability to problem solve, which he's great at. Not many would jump into a Island water hole and check the depth while swimming around. The nugget is a super cool way to start this new era of exploring, what a cuttie, with Kaza being the perfect mom. Good job you guys, great video.

I discovered your channel a few weeks ago on a search about sailing from the Americas to NZ. American expat here, living in NZ. I know nothing about sailing and have become addicted to your channel. I grew up on freshwater (powerboats, canoes, fishing, etc.) and don't even remember learning how to swim as a child. Yet I'm clueless about sailing, living here in the City of Sails!! Now I'm so obsessed with sailboats thanks to your channel that I'm thinking of buying and living on one! I watch all of your new videos week to week, but I started from the beginning and since Covid started I'm up to episode 55. It's incredible to see how your videos just keep getting better in quality with imaginative shots, and the narration is wonderful. You guys know how to spin a great yarn! Your channel is such a bright spot during this troublesome time. Thanks for these videos, and can't wait to see what you have next in store.
Wow very impressive. A lobster that size is about 20 years old. But don’t worry there are tons of lobster in the Caribbean islands and we can never eat them all. I’m about to go get a couple right now!
Delos: Here we are on a deserted island with absolutely no one around. Delos 10 minutes later: Brian went fishing with our neighbors. Lol. :-) Keep having fun out there, and stay safe!!
So cool to see you using the chopper I bought you for your galley. I am Jayde's mom (she was crew for Brady and Blue on the crossing from Canary back to Caribbean) and I sent with her as a gift for Delos. It is one of my favorite galley appliances. You can chop almost all vegetables in it. I even use it to chop up nuts. Enjoy!

Wow, your opening scene, when the camera comes up out of the water and shows your boat in that emerald sea, I thought, man, it doesn't get any better than that. As a SCUBA diver from around 1972, for some reason, I have always been driven to find the clearest water, and that spot is the clearest I have ever seen; so, so beautiful. I have learned perhaps also from diving that the clearest water appears when the wind is calm, which made me investigate and find that a (low pressure) system is usually associated with wind, but a (high pressure) is characteristic of calm winds, and that my dear Family is a great time to photograph and dive. Wow, thanks for the scenery. God Bless.

They share a small snippet of their lives, while living in isolation. On the one hand they need to fund their life, on the other hand as John Donne said "No man is an island." It's their way of staying human while enjoying remote life at the same time. I totally understand it.

Much love from South Africa, Cape Town.
