Lol I hate how everyone just about is always like Nickelback isn't heavy or metal and think this is heavy for them. About half of every album is heavy and they have quite a lot of songs heavier than this song and are definitely more metal. Great video tho my guy lol sorry if that sounded like I was coming at you, I'm not I was just talking out loud 😂
Right. This was tame for them. I think people associate them with their radio safe songs. Not the songs we all blast in our cars and attempt to not crash to.

They grew up in Metallica, Megadeath, Judas Priest etc. The same stuff the rest of us metal heads grew up on. Kills me how people don’t take the time to investigate for themselves. Id go back and do a search pal. There are a TON of heavy Nickelback songs. They just never got picked up by the radio. Like "Something in your mouth", "Edge of a Revolution", "Burn it to the Ground", and thats just from the top of my head.
I love the band. Please check out “Betrayal-act 3” from their “Feed the Machine “ album. It’s my favorite very hard Nickelback song. Totally rocks

For me it's like the heavier rock from the 80's I like it and listen to it but no it's not Metal.
I have always loved Nickelback. I don’t understand the hate and I don’t understand the politics behind it and I don’t care to. I’ve seen them live. I’ve seen Creed. I’ve seen Godsmack about it but I will tell you that Nickelback slideshows are even better. These guys will fill up stadiums and it’s mainly women, and that’s probably where the heat comes from. Just saying. Love you video.
I’ve been a long term fan of Nickleback since I was 13 (I’m almost 33 now) and this song hit me so hard. It kicked started a massive change in my writing career and I can’t be more thankful 🥹

I’ve met the entire band. Multiple times. Friends who have. Multiple times. My children have met them. Do you understand that they were super close with Dimebag? Metallica and then have collaborated. Are friends. Unless you have first hand experience. You cannot say they “Chad” is anything but a kind and generous man. All of them. Nicest guys. I have some stories, personal ones, where they went out of their way to help fans. Why would you apologize for liking them? Grow balls man. Music is music
Eh, this one was alright. Not my favorite. Best song I think they ever made was "Never Again". But then, I'm a lyrics guy, and that one made you feel something. I don't really vibe too much with party songs like this.
