Granted, i doubt Ultrakill will EVER have this many enemies at once outside of Cybergrind.
fr saws are so mid in cg because they don't actually pierce they just hit multiple times they're actually wayyyy better at single target dps than groups
They should change the sawblade to make it shoot coins instead of saws. They should also change every weapon to shoot coins instead of bullets. It would be epic
I believe it is bad that the saw blades give huge profit with no skill required. Ultrakill is a game that rewards you for pulling off impressive and creative combos, that is what makes it so fun. However, if just spamming m1 was more effective, no one would bother to learn and invent stuff like railcoining, proboosting, nuking and so on. While saws dont completely ruin ultrakill since cooldowns force you to use other weapons, they still have negative effect and should be fixed. Just making them bad would not be a correct way to do it though. I believe new mechanics should be implemented so that getting all the damage from a saw trap required more work, more problem solving, something that would require creative solutions. I dont think it is possible to make saws as complex and tech forming as coins, but some improvements can be achieved.

Also: Two things not mentioned here: Punching a saw blade makes its damage to be doubled until it enters magnet orbit or hits a surface. Also, when an attractor saw blade pierces a lesser or greater husk, its damage is increased on subsequent hits on any enemy it hits after.
Sawblade is good but only because its easy to use it barely has much skill ceiling. Jumpstart is just objectively more effective if you get better at it and scales much better the more skilled you are at the game. While sawblade gets weaker the harder the enemies are. I do agree its op for how easy it is to use but its by far not that amazing
Id say easiest weapon to use, you still need to use all the other weapons to deal with larger enemies or youre fucked, also the sawblades can get limited in their space due to the trackj being circular, and because of that limitation I prefer to use the firestarter due to its versatility

A weird spot now where it’s super op and good but stuff like the jumpstart and the electric railcannon with their conductor thing have more crowd control than it despite this weapon being designed around that exact thing, that being said I don’t think they should nerf conductor but it’s just weird how it’s better than using the saw (not to even mention nukes but those have much more use cost soo)
It has a low skill floor and a low skill ceiling despite its effectiveness. It isn't satisfying to use compared to anything else in the arsenal, and it's my least favorite weapon in the game because of that.
screwdriver is good, it can help you learn and how to fight bosses, even if you don't, it can carry you (saying that it literally helped me from getting 1000 attempts in p-2 and only got 28 throughout the whole level)
@@nevinmyers1245 well how exactly? i mean it's not like u can totally just use alt piercer to get the extra hits and i guess it could have it's own way of utility too, but the normal marksman is more efficient.
@@JaviXDWasa if you switch to alt piercer the deploy time makes it so the flash period of the coin has passed and you can't get the splitshot unless you wait for the sing(which takes forever) I could ask you the same thing. Why use default marksman when you can use default sharpshooter or piercer? The deploy time is fast enough to get the flash window.
