The Maybelline Brightener is a holy grail for me. I'm Mexican and I inherited some darker pigmentation under my eyes that is just getting darker as I get older. But that brightener under my foundation then a very thin layer of elf camo concealer. I normally use the L'Oreal Hydra Perfect loose powder in translucent to set. But I did recently pick up the elf powder and that looks beautiful too!

I love that this trend is catching on; I've done this method for years now and it always works... the one compliment I always had was "wow; you look so well rested" and I would explain it to people and they would get amazed that you can neutralize with pink instead of going straight away with a concealer... I've always done a combo of correctors and sometimes; if the brand I am into doesn't have a corrector; I look for a cool toned light to fair shade of concealer since cool toned concealers are usually pink based; it's always worked in my favor... I'm looking at NYX HD concealer... Thank you again for a great video :)
The pink elf powder is definitely one of my faves for under my eyes! By far!! I also own the maybeline brightener but haven't tried them together yet?! Lol why haven't I thought of that?

Amazon carries several pink Korean brand powders that are amazing I have 3 different kinds of pink pressed powders.. I use a pink based concealer which is usually a fair cool shade to brighten up my undereyes instead of my regular yellow based concealer ..Milani has a pink and peach corrector that works well too ..

Maybelline age rewind oxidizes like crazy on me and ultimately had the effect of drawing on dark circles. It took me a while to notice this cause it looks fine immediately after application. I recommend everyone to swatch their undereye concealers and check how they oxidize overtime.
I have a question I have seen others, use banana (or yellowish) powder to illuminate. Do they both illuminate or how does it work?
