Saw them in Omaha a couple of days ago. Perry was in much better shape. He's pretty clearly f'd up at this show. Let's call it opening night jitters. Maybe he had a bit too much of something to calm the nerves. Regardless, one cool dude... Irreplaceable voice. Band was in great form in Omaha.

Perry is mumbling the lyrics and this is the most half assed performance from everyone involved 😒 so glad I bought tickets to the NYC Hammerstein ballroom show 🙄 ……cash grab that didn’t go over like they expected and it’s why the reunion tour turned into a farewell tour
The bass player is Mike Watt from the Minute men, Firehose, Dos. He's played with many bands and is a founding punk bass player . I met him many years ago he and his band Firehose were great and very awesome to speak with.

To remind he's in his mid 60's and still doing it. They haven't been together forever and quite frankly fuck it... If I were up there with my old team mates I'd be having some swigs jamming out songs I used to play as well! I bet they had a blast before, during and after this hehe. It's Rock and Roll. Props to them.

That.says more about respecting the craft than using age as an excuse. Nothing wrong with having fun, but the art of performance can't be lost or else what is the point? Not for me. I really wanted to go see this farewell tour. After seeing videos of many dates, I’m glad I didn’t waste my time and money. Mike Watt is terrible, Perry is mumbling like Joe Biden. Pete and Stephen are doing an excellent job trying to carry the other two, but it’s just not enough to make up for the shit performance of the rest of them. Also why TF is Perry’s wife and that other person on stage with them? Absolute trash. A far cry from when I saw them at the Warfield in San Francisco on tour for the first album. This is pitiful. Total money grab.
