I’ve been searching for it for an hour. I used to listen to it when I was 15 and it used to be on Bandcamp under just Lindsey Jordan and I finally figured it out lmao
Funnily, she said on a live she hates this and that will never play it again, understandable since it’s her earliest work and sounds very amateur, despite having good guitar but you could already tell she had big potential, she was probably only like 13-14 when she wrote these
Snail Mail's early ep's Sticki (2015) & Habit (2016) remind me of Cat Power's early albums Dear Sir (1995) & Mayra Lee (1996) Raw sounding & not perfect, but you can hear strong potential in her songwriting. Her 1st full length lp "Lush" is showing us she's for real !
@@fartsparkle perhaps I dont, So by all means, please enlighten me oh Fartsparkler, in what context was this question proposed so that I may understand wtf your talking about.
@@fartsparkle humm. Well that dose seem to be ture ...if you dont take in to account that it is already leaked and can be downloaded via yt to mp3 or torrents. ..strange an artist would to that to herself but whatever. I guess you were right all along so congrats. Which leads back to the original statement of "why would she delete this" and even after this new found knowledge I still think, that she thinks, shes being skick in someway...but shes not...once something is leaked now days...game over ..maybe she just dosent care .....whatever im over it.
Yea it’s great it’s so ameuter and raw it makes it feel more honest and easier to connect to almost like the more saturated it gets the more it strays from its roots
I absolutely LOVE all pre-Lush Snail Mail. Unlike Sticki and Habit, Lush is disappointingly flat and commercial... but hopefully Lindsey will soon return to her pre-Lush sincerity and depth
This ep is like the super hidden secret level after you beat the final boss of a video game
I’ve been searching for it for an hour. I used to listen to it when I was 15 and it used to be on Bandcamp under just Lindsey Jordan and I finally figured it out lmao
This came up in a pretty easy google search and I mostly listen to like,Extreme Metal which is very not this so probably not.
Im in grade 9 now and ive been listening to this ep since grade 6
Imagine writing these at age 15
I think she actually wrote most of these when she was like 13 or 14
Untitled 0:00
Feeling Better 3:18
Ghost 7:15
Fluorescent Heights 13:02
first song is “Habit”
@@CupCakePartyTime They rerecorded that first song and put it on their 2016 EP with the title "Habit". This version was originally just "Untitled"
Last song is Fluorescent Lights as per cassette track listing
Her guitar playing is perfectly sloppy, very fun to listen to.
Yup, her guitar is definitely her biggest strength, her voice as well when it’s Crystal clear
It’s as perfect as human emotion.
This has 0 dislikes. The purest place on UA-cam
Whose the bastard that disliked this😡
@@joshharris3314 they really disliked because of your comment lollll
I have the power to just dislike
beautiful. so perfectly messy and raw and jangly. i love you lindsey jordan.
Thank you so much I've been looking everywhere for this
There’s a song about me? Wait what?
I can't believe I just found this... hidden gem by the best indie artist ever
Funnily, she said on a live she hates this and that will never play it again, understandable since it’s her earliest work and sounds very amateur, despite having good guitar but you could already tell she had big potential, she was probably only like 13-14 when she wrote these
Snail mail is immeasurably iconic to say the least.
Couldn't agree more
I feel like I might have seen this once but didn't know what it was.

But Habit's lyrics are so much stronger than Lush's, overall.... Lush has nothing to compare to "Slug"
Been following SM since the habit EP and just now found this. Bless!!
why would she delete this !!!???
Maybe she wants ppl to buy her music instead of leaching it off of you tube. Understandable really.
@@ChiralSpirals I don't think you understand the question

@@ChiralSpirals Lindsay Jordan deleted sticki from her bandcamp so now you can't get it anywhere besides from people leaching it off of youtube

holy crap how did i find this
I don’t if this habit is better or the habit that’s on the habit ep is better
I prefer this version. The drummer almost ruined the other recording for me.
I am so glad I found this gem!!
life changed
it´s just perfect, i love her voice
Best album cover ever
im 41 and I fucking looooove snail mail
im 14 and I fucking looooove snail mail
Reminds me of early Tracey Thorn. Fantastic.
Who’s here in 2020?
Great album
Where’d you find this
this ep plays over and over again in my head everyday. i wish i had the opportunity to buy this on cassette 🙁
im ripping it onto a cassette as we speak- ive never been more stoked !!
I seriously doubt how profound and delicate this set is to some people that constantly play this when they are in their most vulnerable point.
yay
no way
OMG FUCKCKCKKCK
Untitled is supposed to be habit
It wasn’t called habit till it was re-released on the Habit ep
Are there other ways to listen to this? Like not on youtube
It used to be on bandcamp but I guess she deleted it
sad.
download it
use soulseek.
Download while you can, lindsey really hates this ep, tho its her bsk work imho

lush is fucking good wym
Lush has a more intricate and developed sound then this or Habit. Just because it’s new doesn’t mean you have to hate on it
aged like milk
haha you wish
