I recently wanted to do the effect from the movie Xanadu, where the dancers had glowing outlines. Then I came across this tutorial and bought the effect. Added it to green screened footage of my subjects and Bob's your uncle, there it was - the exact effect I was looking for! Thank you so much :)

Hello, after doing the tracking and the mask I find myself in front of a mask that does not move (so the tracking seems to work) but the image inside the mask moves as if in your grille mask appeared the landscape. What did I do wrong? Thanks in advance.

when I press in " object tracker" the mask changes completely, the size and the position don't maintain to the same clip below it, even with the scale and disable in "apply tracker to:" please help

This is super cool. Looking to add this effect and your plgin soon. Been looking at masks but mine do not move well like yours. Does this work best because you have one movement across rather than pushing into the frame?
I find the object track feature only really works in 2d. If the camera position is moving forward or back it really struggles to track it

Ryan I can't catch one thing. In 1:05 sec you make copy paste operation. I hold option + drag the oryginal clip and drop it above and in my situation, the clip with "tracking" is beneath and clear clip is above. In your tutorial is opposite. How do you make this operation, could you desribe it clearly? Thank you for support.

How do you transition from a straight line to a curve line and back to straight in final cut when masking, I can’t figure it out, every time I make a curve the next line wants to be curved as well when I don’t need it to. For that sole reason I never mask would appreciate help onthat

I must be broken, followed this step by step but as soon as I press done my mask is tracking a completely different part of the video and is microscopic!?

So question. How is it that the clock transition didn’t work for the entire video but just for the bumper? Is that because the duplicate is set to the tracking? So because of that, the transition only works with the effect?
