It's Wuhu and Wedge Island. All of the sports are located there except Classic Golf.

Table tennis is easily my favourite mode in this game. You could pull off a lot of cool shots and you really need to us tactics in the higher levels. Free flying was awesome aswell. Loved flying through every narrow passage there was.
What really annoys me and surprises me, is the disc golf mode. I didn't know about that one until now. I really want to play it.
oml the table tennis was soooooo much fun i low key wanna go out and get a wii and just quit school and just play the wii

This game actually inspired me to start writing novels.
I wrote a story based on a guy going to an island with these various activities. That's why I like this game

I don't blame you on archery! That game was fantastic! I loved bowling just as much too. Seriously whenever me and my brothers/relative came over for a weekend or something, they brought their Wii and we just played a TON of bowling, archery, or frisbee.
my fav's basketball, the plane one, andping pong...i pretty much love em all!

Nice 100 pin strike! That was one of my favourite games on the original Wii Sports, too, but i was never able to get a full strike at that point. Did get some impressive flukes in a few of the higher numbers of pins, but never the final one.

I was actually thinking about this game and that concept today.
do u have to have the motion thing or is it sumthing to make it better?
I kind of like the flying simulator because it lets you explore the island, if Nintendo insists on adding all these games where you play as your Miis like that, one thing I hope they do one day, is add something where you walk around and explore places with your mii, I don't know why, but this concept is just something I'd like to see.

The 100 pin strike is pretty easy. My greatest achievement on this game is finding all 80 spots on the island flyover. If you find them all, you get your own cottage.

Actually, I got my Wii Sports Resort for $16 or so along with two Wii MotionPlusses around $8 each at GameStop. $50, you say? I think not.

Rafael Escamilla Hernández First, I want to point out that I made a different account, and even though I have two different profile pics, I assure you this is the same person. Anyway, I got them in a GameStop in Oregon.
I got Wii Sports Resort technically for free.
My Wii broke and I had to buy a new one. The console I bought was a previously owned console and the people that owned the console accidentally left Wii Sports Resort inside.

Interesting review. You like the games I can't stand and dislike the ones I enjoy in Sports Resort. I agree with nerftendo about the canoeing game. And the bowling controls in this version seem more precise. I still have the worst trouble with the original bowling game (my throws tend to curve to the right no matter what) but I do pretty well in the updated version.
I agree with you about the skydiving game, though I hadn't noticed Miis falling to their deaths. :)
I played 100 pin bowling at gamestop and i loved it! the only downer was that there was a big chord attached to the wiimote so i couldn't tell the difference with the motion plus on

island flyover was my fave too!
It's not really the crazy hands to make you win, it's about hitting the player because hitting the stick is what makes you lose your balance and get close to losing, just in case you didn't know.
I miss this game. It had so much fun playing it! I'm gonna rent it again!!

I LOVE island flyover its one of best minigames ive ever played.
can it be played without the motion plus?
This game was truly really fun, no matter how frustrating the flyover got when you got down to the last 5 or 10 i points. Of course, going into the volcano wasn't my best idea... but it worked, apparently. I loved the swordfight, even if it was just randomly hitting people.
I remember how much time I spent on the sightseeing to the point I went everywhere even that god dammed volcano

100 pin bowling is also MY favorite
I did find that motion+ started breaking down and needing a lot of recalibration at higher speeds, but I suppose the point is to discourage flailing as a strategy anyway.
So what happens if you go over a cliff in Cycling, like the guy in your review did?
It seems like this game is like a tease almost for the next Zelda game - the swore fighting, the archery, the frisbee could be like a boomerang. Heck, even the flying would totally kick ass in the next Zelda!

at that "how to plug in the wii motion plus" video i just switched over and watched some TV
so the next obvious question is when will the Wii be able to track where you are in the room (or in a space)?
