Editing is on point Calvin, I spoke to a guy who got shut of his m3 for the m2 and he said the m2 is by far the better motor. He said and I quote “the best m car I’ve driven” 😩🤔💭
The size and the fact that you can get a manual as well as the weight and how solid this car is not to leave out the LSD is what makes THIS car stand out above the others. Then on top of all that you can easily (fairly easily lol) tune it to give you another 80 to 100 hp and torque. It's just THE car to get if you can. Don't spend a ton on the newer comp unless you have the bigger bucks to blow. The N55 will still rock the tuning side. "I an't need Nuffin eows".
You'll love the M3/M4 alloy and CF engine brace retrofit. Check it out it transforms the chassis more than the steering. You'll have an M2C chassis then. Other best mod I did is THOR the m flasher, I loaded M4 GTS steering it's nice and heavy much reduces dead spot too.
Haha the let off sound! It's like a manual dsg fart bit far far nicer. You will LOVE a sports cat I've got the milltek and passes the MOT emissions fine. Makes stock exhaust come alive. Cold start is savage though. I think the car always starts in comfort no matter what you press or do, may be wrong though.

Enjoyed the video mate. The engine blipping on the downshift was a feature from the 370Z, it was pretty revolutionary from Nissan back in 2009 when I purchased my manual Z. Since then moved on to the AMG A45, had two, but bought a new A45S back in March.

My f56 JCW was the same with the Rev matching, however when I turned dsc fully off there was no matching so perhaps try turning it off and see if it does the same on the m2, would save you mapping it out if that’s the case :)

Love the M2 Calvin 👍 N55 is a good platform for tuning, slightly different to the N55 in my M135I lci which I've tuned to great results 👍 manual gearbox more of a driver's car .

My n54 135i manual used to do 110mph in 3rd. Even though it was better to change at 6000rpm at 100 it was always fun hitting red line!

Standard turbo and fuel pump are good for 440bhp, with full bolt ons and stage 2 software, after that bigger turbo and fuel pump are needed
