    Hi! Just a TIP for the MISO - always add it in the end and after you've turn off the stove - otherwise if you boil the miso you will kill all the good bacteria that occurs with fermentation which is so good for gut health :) Loved the recipes and I've been needing some inspiration - Thank you!

It takes some time maybe to adjust to it but once you have found the groove you just don’t want to go back and your body really FEELS the difference. I love your ethos around this and sharing your recipes and lifestyle is inspiring and makes it attainable to people who want to make the switch but just don’t know how to get started with it all. If anyone struggles with sugar cravings even after cutting out actual "sugar", it could also be from starchy carbs like rice or corn because they're broken down into sugar and end up in your blood after eating and spike glucose levels. The key is to always "dress your carbs" with a fibrous veggie, a fat, and a protein. These will help keep BS stable.

    Normally I shy away from 7 day challenges or diet but I really like yours because you're not focusing on weight loss or doing it to change your body per say, you're more or less honed in on the actual true health benefits like feeling more energetic, better sleep, clearer skin, better digestion, & better mood. & I just love that about you! I also like that you've worked with a dietitian on this and the meals are Well balanced and have a lot of variety. I would like to see a little more protein but I understand that this is what your body needs and the recipes are adjustable as well.

    I like your content but I just wanted to share my thoughts about the ´no-sugar´-diet. In my opinion the body needs the sugar to function properly, it provides energy and the body produces it on it´s own via carbohydrates anyways, you just speed it up whilst taking it in pure. So I think it would be better for us all to not demonize sugar as much as we do in society currently. the actual diet problem with most people is fat, that is what makes someone fat or causes things like diabetis or so. in the other way if you take less sugar you´re just going to influence your energylevel and your overall mood in a bad way. that´s what I´ve experienced. have a good day everyone

    • @Elena-pq8yp
      @Elena-pq8yp Рік тому +5

      Exactly.. there’s nothing wrong with sugar, it just depends on the source - natural sugars from fruit are incomparable to processed ‘added’ sugars. Regardless of that, there’s nothing wrong with having more ‘unhealthy’ foods once in a while - it’s all about finding a balance between foods you ENJOY and fueling your body adequately 🙏🏼
      I wish people could stop demonising entire food groups 😞 it can so quickly become a slippery slope into disordered eating..

      Right?!? Sugar is literally glucose for your body, you can control the amount you need but you don't need to demonize it even if it is additional sugars, you can control it if you have some issues, but to just deprive yourself off of additional sugars because "you've been bad" or something is just bs.

    Does someone know what is the brand of the pan she’s used for the day 1 shrimp curry and day 2 scrambled eggs ? It looks like food doesn’t attach at the bottom but looks healthier than usual non-stick Tefal pans…

    Natural sugar is still sugar. That's why diabetics have to be so careful about their carb intake, fruit can cause spikes. Regardless if you cut out processed sugar, you are still eating sugar. Natural is probably better, but it's still sugar.
