- Hi All! In todays session of mixed media art journaling we are testing out Seth Apters New Izink Sprays! We spend some time testing the Izink's on a variety of different papers plus we do lot's of mark making using sumi ink and the gold black sumi ink! Enjoy :)

So, loving the Izinks and you’re demos. Being in NZ it’s hard to find or buy here. So looking at Seth’s range, have found it extremely difficult to find a colour chart of all the Izink spray inks. Please suggest to Seth, that he adds a large, clear colour swatch of his Izink sprays. And of course anything else he has in his shop. Thank you Robyn and team. ☺️

Unfortunately Izinc dye sprays are hard to get in Australia. I found a place that sells them but most of the colours were sold out. I got the remaining 6 colours 3 purples, 2 reds and copper buff. I love purples and reds and copper so that's good. None of the new colours you are using were available. Also glassine paper is seriously expensive here so I won't be getting any of that. I love the calligraphy practice paper and can get that easily and use it a lot. Love your mark making series and will use what I have and can get. Thank you for all that you share with us. 😀💕

@@RobynMcClendon I haven’t been able to access any new colours but I really love copper buff. I don’t really use metallics a lot but since watching your videos I find myself using them to highlight and spruce up colour combinations.

Love the technique and the Butterscotch colour; love all the shimmers - I have gold and white pearl. Difficult to get them readily in NZ.

IZInk Morning Mist and the Red are my favorites. What a great idea using the glassine paper as a surface to do monoprinting from! Will have to try this idea for sure. It’s a two-fer.

Hi Robyn, I'm new to your videos for Gelli printing and they are fantastic!! I'm a Collage artist and used a couple of
Gelli prints for background, they looked beautiful. You give great tips and I'm wondering if you can use Vellum paper

Oh wow thank you! I appreciate you :) I'm so happy you had wonderful results 😍 YES you can use vellum paper. It doesn't have the same absorbency as say glassine, so it might move a bit more on the plate but you can def use it!

How long do the inks and sprays take to dry on the glassine?
very quickly, maybe a few minute to 10 depending on how much has puddled!
