Rewatching this storyline as an adult, I wasn't mad with it because Donna knew the rules and she broke them. The girl was literally drunk the moment she got to prom and couldn't even stand up on the dance floor without wobbling across and David helping her. Of course, they have the 1 person in the group who was likely not to get in this much trouble be the one caught drunk. With Donna being the only 1 caught drunk (as there was probably others who were but didn't get caught), the school was going to make a prime example so that was no surprise.
More like THEY SHOULD ALL BE ASHAMED, because all they did this season was drag Donna in the middle of their selfish positions and made her life miserable
She broke the school boards new no drinking at prom rule and not ONLY does she have to go to summer school, she is suspended from school, and has to go into an alcohol and drug counseling program
I mean for the sake of the show I love the Donna Martin graduate part but honestly if my kid drank a graduation and got busted that would be the consequence of their actions and I would not appeal it but I would still let them have their social life and talk to their friends
