This is a very special episode for the fact that we have a practical business case to discuss when country has been going through socioeconomic and political turmoil. We need to discuss more of what can we do in order to bring positive change in the country and there's no better option than having a national brand owner and e-commerce professional on board for this very purpose.
Saad Afridi has built the brand Scents n Stories from scratch and have taken it several notches up since the time it all began. So this is where we discussed the background, philosophies, ideologies and mindset that have made his venture sustain and grow phenomenally. We discussed the ideas and philosophical approach that Saad incorporated into his decision making with regard to all areas of business. He talks about motivation with a twist since he never wants to motivate people just for the sake of it or else he runs the risk of motivating wrong people all along. We had in-depth discussion about misconceptions related to passion and what should be done to make one's passion pay off profusely in the long run.
We had candid exchange of views as to why only fragrance business was chosen among many others and what are the dynamics of industry from consumer as well as brand owners' point of views. Content has been integral part of brand's communication so we discussed the content distribution approaches implemented by the brand as well as we touched upon few seething issues that are associated to local brand owners commonly referred to as "Seth". This included many insights from the young brand owner as he elaborates futuristic stance that goes against the grain for local businesses working here since day one.
We discussed importance of Deen in relation to business growth and how religions values have helped the stakeholders grow as market leaders in Pakistan's fragrance e-commerce. We concluded discussion with amazing exchange of views upon Iqbaliat, leadership and entrepreneurship with purpose and all these points are surely going to help coming generation of innovators disrupt the market for the greater good of this country. Gareebon has his own unique voice, work and experience. The concept of self reliance is very important. Not everyone has the luxury to go to well reputated schools. As long the work is halal it is okay. Often we cannot find pure floral fragrances in the US, are there any online services from Pakistan?
