Just saw it and I loved every single minute of it. Great cast. Great writing. Great storytelling. Characters you care about. Nothing exploded. No CGI. Just great old fashioned storytelling. This is what a great movie is about.

I got chills when I saw Bird and Earvin back to back, holding their respective shoes in a duel. That was way more intriguing than Jordan. These two guys saved the NBA. Bird vs Magic, East coast vs West coast, The Majestic Celtics vs LA. That was the eighties. When basketball was basketball.

For everyone saying that chills when he says “Michael Jordan” technically if you watch again and pay close attention, you probably got chills just after, when the insanely beautiful three-part harmony on “Motorin’” kicks in... because that’s the power of music.

Just got out of the theater and I absolutely loved it!
The cast, the story, the 80s setting, everything was spot on.

Excellent film. The directing and acting from all the cast were spot on. Felt very natural and Matt once again proves he’s one of the best in the business. He has a monologue in this film and it is delivered exceptionally.

Michael Jordan was my son's first book of sports heroes ❤. He is 37 years old now and my grandson's name is Jordan. As a single mother Michael Jordan inspired me to never give up . Thank you ❤️ I have my black on white Air's on and my oldest son has been collecting Air Jordans for years. 🙏 May this movie be an inspiration to all who see it .

I believe he gets his credit. Peter Moore doesn’t really get credit & he designed the Jordan 1 arguably the most influential sneaker of all time aside from the AF1.

I hope they don’t gloss over Peter Moore who designed the Jordan one. His accomplishments alone are some of the best in the sneaker industry. Like for example he made the dunks and did y’all know he made the three bar logo for adidas.

There is no denying the Jordon One is an exceptional sneaker, but the three bar logo was created by the creator of Adidas, Adi Dassler, not Peter Moore. If Peter Moore did, he would have been around 10 years old. The first logo appeared on the a running track shoe in 1949. Adi Dassler brother, Rudi Dassler created Puma. Their history is a great read.

This film really says a lot about the state of western society, that the only culture/art being produced and celebrated is based on the rise of some trivial consumer junk like a shoe, its really quite sad. Spiritual decay has been eroding western culture for so long now and this movie just illustrates the total lack of any transcendental value in the west. No wonder everyone is depressed, lonely & unhappy, not to mention hooked on some form of prescription pills, its all just a coping mechanism in my opinion, as will going to see this movie will be no doubt.
It’s astonishing that Hollywood can’t make quality movies anymore, movies based on real culture, on real stories, stories worth telling, that actually mean something to the masses. Maybe this generation of gen Z just can’t relate? Growing up with smart phones has probably rendered their attention spans to 8 seconds or less.

just watched this at the cinemas. it was suprisingly very good.
Very authentic 80's. Guys in the office with trivial pursuit cards, football kicker game. The cars, cloths, furniture, blue carpets and hair cuts are so authentic. I remember going to my dad's office and it looked identical. He would wear the same ties, jackets and suits. He had the Trivial Pursuit cards in his desk drawer and that Football kicker game. I was ten when Jordan was signed and this movie really brought back that time period feeling. Even the ugly beige desk phones with the punch keys and the hand writen numbers. VHS tapes in the boxes with the banged up white edges. When his pager went of and he rushed to a phone to make a call, hilarious. The shoulder bags, shirts, jackets so 80's. If you lived in the 80's you got to see this movie. The stories great and the set design is bang on. It's a winner. Loved it.
The best movie I have seen in over 30 years. I laughed so hard I cried, I was so anxious and the the movie was so good it went absolutely fast ❤❤❤

Not much coming out on Netflix anymore these days. Hulu is killing it dude. When I tried Hulu I was shocked how much better it is. It's like what Netflix used to be. The only time I need Netflix now is when stranger things comes out
I listened to an interview with Bem Affleck and he said the theater release is a big risk nowadays, but he doesn't want to spoil the unique aspect of a theater experience by promising the "free" streaming version in 3 weeks. He is waiting a long time to put it out on streaming!
