For every kilo of pork meat:
1 tbsp. fine salt
2 tbsps. sugar
½ tsp. curing salt
¼ tsp. cracked black pepper
¼ tsp. paprika powder
Soy Honey Glaze:
½ cup yellow mustard
½ cup brown sugar
2 tbsps. Kikkoman Soy Sauce
½ cup honey
Pinch of all spice or cinnamon powder
MACARONI SALAD
500 grams macaroni, cooked al dente
250 grams chopped ham
2 carrots, peeled and chopped
2 red onions, peeled and chopped
½ cup sweet pickle relish
1 ½ cups mayonnaise
¼ cup Kikkkoman Soy Sauce
¼ cup condensed milk
¼ cup cream
Salt and black pepper to taste.

I tried this for Christmas dinner in New York City. My boyfriend loved it! He is not Filipino but now he knows all about you since I was watching this on repeat when I was cooking lol! Thank you, Chef. First time alone in the US with just my boyfriend and a friend for Christmas. It was so nice to be able to cook a nice noche buena dinner for cheap! If I bought ham at the Filipino store, it would have been $90+. But this only cost me about $20! I just had to buy the curing salt and can reuse again . Otherwise ham was just $11!!! Crazy!

Husband made this in a smoker and it’s very delish. Husband said para ka daw teacher magturo chef and bigay todo sa kaalaman mo. Daghang salamat and malipayong pasko from the visayas.

@@alicezeph0508 yes, ginawa ko ito dahil napakamahal ng ham diyan sa Pilipinas. It’s about 2 yrs ago. Hindi babaho dahil May pink salt at refrigerated. Basta y check lang every day para ibaligtad ang karne.
sobrang legit nito chef. after wtching this vid, buy agad ko 3kls na tig 1 1/2 kasim and liempo then cured it and after 7 days which is ngayn, followed the procedure and yun, MASARAP nga at nagustuhan ng family...Thank you!

I will definitely try this, ito yung noon ko pa hinahanap na ham Pinoy style sa Quiapo noon, matamis at malasa hindi tulad ng US ham na maalat.
