Yes!!!! Thank you!!! Very well done! I'm trying to get our 3-piece band to cover this one, and that's exactly what I needed to know about the patches you used! Now I've got to figure out how to add the bass with another split and figure out when to cross over from one to the other. Cool!!!
I remember I got the bright idea to try and learn this song and quickly discovered it's way over my head haha. I think you did a great job of simplifying and executing it
Thanks! Just curious, are you still able to see this video? I got a notification a couple of months ago that my video was blocked due to copyright restrictions. 🤔
You definitely hit the signposts that you need to with that, even if it is simplified. Solid arrangement and should be reasonably accessible to many beginners even which is impressive.
If you have the arturia V collection you can buy a shit load of toto presets. One of them is this marimba patch that is triggered with an arp so you just have to press one note. it's the best thing ever haha
So, just seen the comments on how to program the splits on the Juno. Having had a (now defunct) D-70 I knew Roland’s tend to have splits. So are you using them here? In particular in the intro? Been trying to work out how you’re getting such different sounds on your right hand and just couldn’t work it out so assumed it had to be a split even though the panel and screen doesn’t give it away. Nice playing incidentally. Some classic tracks!
You can follow this tutorial: ua-cam.com/video/FT6nQ5f5Tus/v-deo.htmlsi=ILXWM2cEk6TKwS4X You can then save and store multiple performance banks and recall them at the press of a button.
