- A 1971 Chevrolet Camaro I found at the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals south in Knoxville Tn...I'm a BIG fan of these 2nd Gen Camaro and this one is just about perfect....First the color is different...But I like it...Not even sure what to call it....Brownish?...It presents as a split bumper...Whether it is a real one or not...I don't know...It has a LS under he hood...A great stance and wheel choice.....It is very nicely done...But not over done...A award winner for sure...But a 1971 Chevrolet Camaro that can still be taken out and cruised....The interior is a combination of custom and late model Camaro seats...If there is anything I would change on this 1971 Chevrolet Camaro from the 2018 NSRA Street Rod Nationals South...Is the seat....The rest of the Car is so nice;...It looks like they grabbed some seats out of the Car next to it in the garage so they could make the show...Very nice seats...Just don't fit the rest of the build...imho..This 1971 Chevrolet Camaro is done in what I would consider a pro touring style....With a touch of street machine here and there...It's one if your a fan of the 2nd gen camaro your going to love...Check it out!!!

I'm with you on the seats. They're just to fat for it. I like the steering wheel too, however, I think it's too big for the the theme. It would be cool smaller with. fatter rim & leather wrap.
I'm somewhat of a purist on the second gen Camaro ("four spoke") Firebird (flat three spoke T/A) steering wheel. BUT I never was a fan of the 78 to 81 "fake string wrapped" look wheel. Now if you wrapped leather OVER the fake string I think it would look great because it would fatten it up nicely and give it a nice retro modern appearance. I loved when Year One leather wrapped the Bandit car T/A wheel. Made it perfect.

Scotti this is an original split bumper - the turn signals are next to the headlights. If was not original the turn signals would be located on the bottom valence. Shaped differently.

@@ScottieDTV I was looking for a 70-73 Camaro at first but The Firebird just fell on my lap and I had to have her. I want more muscle 😂 it's an addiction. I have an 89' RS Camaro. But dream muscle car's I have to buy, has to be a 68' Roadrunner and GTO, 70' Chevelle and the Cherry on the pie 1968 Ford Mustang Fastback GT 390

Love the interior, sweet and simple with comfortable seats and cage. Never liked the front end, but the car is nice. No new 68 or 69 chargers to film out there?!?! I NEED MY SCOTTIE FIX!!!

The second generation Camaros aren't necessarily the most popular. Pre-1970 and the post 82 seem to generate the most interest - at least down in our part of the world. Like I said though - a really nice piece
