- We've been waiting for quite a while to shoot this one. My friend Sean Smith did the design work, Gabes did the interior and it was built by Stones Metal Shop and its a serious badass. 600 whp from an n/a LSX with stunning fab work and all the right sounds.
Sit back and enjoy the ride...

Probably the best interior I've ever seen. The switches and gauges look phenomenal.
Wow is right. Everything is tastefully done. The paint & cerakoting look great together and not one drop of bad ass is missing either.
TheGunfighter45acp agreed all the way
nailed it. Sometimes I think people go too far with custom stuff, but this one has just the right amount of custom touches & tasteful mods
The original blue looked great
Gabriel F it did but I love where it has gone personally
Gabriel F vesture
I loved the orange version...so nice, this one looks awesome but prefer the Orange
Oh most def those first 2 restos were primo. Good to see yall old heads building shit around suspension tho. We evolve together generationally, us car guys and gals. Next generation of car enthusiasts gonna be doin garage aero with self taught CAD skills they learned from youtube videos to make dads Fox Body take a whole G of force more in turns. Lets gooooooo.
Buy one yourself and do that then. This is his drea
What a magnificent channel. Thank goodness for UA-cam and car content like this. Love this.
As a Mustang guy, I really like this one! The second gen Camaros don't get much love.
JL Farlow they don’t and they’re my personal favorite. This one is stunning
They are my fav gen of Camaro as well
Every car you show is perfection
mrharden11 lucky here in SoCal to have access to so many amazing vehicles
perfect in every aspects. That sound is just incredible
Son Pham this whole car is simply perfect
Man the attention to detail and amount of man hours that went into that build are insane. It's a nice touch how they color matched the intake and exhaust piping and in Cerakote! That alone with all the matching engine bolt-ons are a big touch, yet a shit ton of extra work most builder's skipover.
Early 2nd gen Camaros deserve more love because this style is so under appreciated. The execution of the mods on this car are nothing short of spectacular. Love how the exhaust exits through the valence below the rear bumper a la first gen Mustangs. Makes you kinda of wish that stylists at GM Design Staff had "borrowed" it.
Same for me. Personally, 2nd gen is my favorite Camaro especially 70-71
AutotopiaLA Mine too. It all started with my AFX Chaparral Camaro slot car.
I really liked this body style for the Camaro....a lot of guys pissed and moaned about it. Glad to see someone do a good restomod on this year. I just cannot get over how much power/torque the LS motors are capable of......all cars should be red.
Stunning Camaro!! Absolutely perfect👍👍👍
Bigred911s 911GTS agreed all the way. Perfect choices everywhere on this one
Love this design, I can see why he changed it up. Killer build!!!
Love second gens. So beautiful.
wldwst22 me too and they don’t get enough love imo. This one is perfect to me
Love those flush windows and other small things on the body
Yes my favorite too😁
@@AutotopiaLA shhhhhhh
Love this build you have excellent taste....I wouldn't change a thing respect from NY
this is amazing. This is what i love seeing, classic cars modernized! 10/10
The interior just stunning I like every iteration of the car great show!
Cedric Demps one of the best interiors I’ve ever seen. That steering wheel!
Man, these model Camaros are so underrated. And this is a hell of a perfect example how this can be a killer car. Such a relief after the 10th million 68-69 camaro build..
Great episode and amazing build! So much detail. Owner was heavily involved in the build, very cool.
Wow......WOW! Stunning inside and out. Sean Smith really is an incredible designer. That's like a concept car made real!
Nível de customização absurdo! Perfeição em cada detalhe. Greetings from Brazil, amazing channel AutotopiaLA
Thank you!!
I said this before in another video for another car and will see it here for this car too. If given the choice between having this car or a spaceship, I would choose to have this car. This hot rod/street rod whatever it is called does not have words. My God is that thing beyond nice.
Gotta say, that interior is my favorite part of the car. Very very unique
Brandon Funaro I love it all but that interior is my favorite part too. Spectacular design and execution
WOW!!! A lot of great choices went into this one
What a beast! Perfection in style indeed! Loving the color combo on the engine as well.
It's the little things on this car that sets it apart. Flush finishes on the windshield, bumpers, and even the engine bay color combination. I love that "European" twist on American muscle. That interior is on a different level than any other car I ever seen.
Brandon W you see it the same way I do. Euro touches added to American muscle is stunning to me
Sean _'it's just a car'_ Smith. :-) This car has been absolutely perfected to the maximum! So tastefully done all around. Love this guy's style and attitude. 1st class.
ᙅYᙖᙓᖇ ᗪOᙅ™ he’s the best. Absolutely love what Sean does and his sense of humor is hilarious!
I would need nothing else but bicycle to take me around. One drive every weekend in this would be enough to carry me through the week. Fantastic!
/// it is that good
this mod design speaks for it self, I can't take my eyes off, the dashboard is just mesmerizing
That is one of my dream cars. Its so perfect and Im so green with envy.
SinSear001 it really is a perfect restomod
Sweet build omg
All the right parts in all the right places. Thanks for comn through with your content bro.
Craig M glad you like it and a big YES on this Camaro!
I had a 71 back in the day owned it until 86 Had a 350 hp 350 Nice car I sure miss it now !
I want a 2nd gen badly. This is my favorite of Camaro’s
Love the interior and the custom gauge package. Just reeks of quality and the fit & finish is outstanding.
This is truly a stellar build on all points
So nice! Everywhere you look theres a subtle (or not so subtle) touch. The car is great all around.
So nice to see you didn't go overboard with the fender flares. Second gens are the most beautiful car Chevrolet ever made. Thanks for sharing.
Perfect build!!!
Beautiful rolling work of art.
Absolutely insane 🤛🤛🤛
Lsvip 1 it really is a stunning build
Awesome machine.i love that the builder/designer has put some much detail in this build.cherry picking parts from other cars & putting them together & they look at home in this car.very nicely done.great job
Yeah, this car is such an incredible build. Style, taste, perfection
Wow perfection all around
This is PAINT!!!
Sounds and looks as unique as perfect custom mashups can get, how awesome are the throttle sounds 👌
Thank-you so much 🤩
WOOOOOOOOW! WHAT A FINE PIECE OF ENGINEERING THIS CUSTOM CAMARO IS! HANDS DOWN THE BEST THAT I'VE SEEN!
It’s such a great build. We’ve got another 71 Camaro that we’ll be uploading next week and it’s such a sick build
This car is very nice. Props to the owner for an awesome build. This exact build but on a 67 camaro would be my dream car...future goals...
Chris Cooper I’m partial to 70-71 so I just love this build
@@AutotopiaLA This car was cool none the less and very impressive. Nice review and driving from you as always. Man you've reviewed most of my favorite cars both domestic and foreign...except for 1: Please...please...review a twin turbo 370z if at all possible. I love muscle but the 370z is quite potent when boosted. Hoping my prayer gets answered...wink wink...lol
One of my best custom classic cars, this beast is face dropping on first sight. Damn.
Had to put on my headphones for this one, Nice clean take on that car.
that is the nicest engine i've ever seen...love the matte finish my first time ever seeing that finish on a engine
This is probably the cleanest car I've ever seen! just beautiful inside and out!!!
This has me missing my 70 Camaro. I also had a 72 for parts. The crazy thing is that they both had column shift. Insane what they're worth now.
Sooner or later I want a built 2nd gen. Still my favorite of all Camaro’s
My favorite model Camaro! Well done!!!
In this current climate, you still manage to post awesome vids. Be safe out there!! 👍🏾
That's a beautiful car, a great blend of old school and modern. To my eyes it looks both.
This car is the epitome of “just enough”. All the right mods but the original lines and bodywork have barely been changed. Flush fit glass and wheels make it that much more badass. Awesome Camaro
Actually alot has been changed altering the cars original body lines. Completely ruined the back end it just doesn't look as good as the original rear end. Should have started with a junk yard car no need to RIP up an original beauty.
Wow! And I thought the other 71 you highlighted was sick. Just gorgeous!
These are two of the best 2nd gens I’ve ever seen and driven
What a beauty, thanks for showing us. I wished you mentioned the front bumpers, looks like something special was done there. Rock on Bro
So tastefully done. Stunning
Absolute beauty right here
Thanks for the video about real cars I grew up with.
Looks and sounded great! Interior is simple and very good taste!
Belíssimo exemplar amigos linda cor interior e a preparação em si sem palavras lindo perfeito de verdade abraço a todos
The first 12 seconds is all I needed. Thank you.
Hopefully you watched more than 12 seconds to see the amount of design and work in this beauty
Love the big block.sound....car is beautiful!!!
WOW? What a Beauty
You know the owner has superb taste when the interior is just chef's kiss.
👌🔥
The stance is spot on for the second generation Camaro. Toys,Toys, love it.
Nice Camaro..he had some good work done..Love the interior creativity.
So awesome!
Stunning 🤩
Love the videos and your channels style/take on cool cars. Keep up the good work!
Cruz Allen thank you. Lots more to come!
I love seeing a car without boost that can lay in down. Nice 👍🏼
This car is perfect at every look and sound
Awesome Machine. Great job on the video . Perfect 👌 editing ,pace of the q&a . Benchmark car video , this is how everybody should shoot there videos.
Stunning
Another awesome video. Keep them coming!
I've seen a lot of featured cars on this channel, but never have I been jealous, until this one.
I love this car!! And he drives it a fair amount which I love
The beauty, the quality, the power and that sound. Hot
2nd gens really are the jam, this one in particular
This is one of the best 2nd gens I’ve ever seen and driven
Wow just wow. Great job on this car.
Wow Steve really has an eye for creating a modern '71 Camaro. Just awesome, every detail and design cue perfect. And a beast.
Woops, was it me or did the last burnout look like clutch smoke 😳
no lol
They weren't even getting on it.
@@csmith4463 right but the wheels weren't spinning and there's no black lines being painted and the smoke is coming from center of the vehicle
@@zr1vetteman09 I'm not arguing that it wasn't the clutch. It was the clutch. I just also know that Steve told them to go ahead and push it, but they didn't.
It was clutch smoke 100%. Feel bad for the camaro.
That's what you call a clean bad ass custom muscle car done right!
Definitely one cool looking car and that gauge cluster is epic, love the look it just stands right out as soon as you look inside the car.
The TT seats off eBay made me giggle a bit, not what I would have expected =)
I didn’t expect to hear TT either but they sure fit and the upholstery work from Gabes is spectacular as usual from them
The interior is sick.nicee
Ya Steve has a great car. Thanks for taking time to show us. Have a great day bra
Glad you enjoyed it and I completely agree. Just needs an adjustment to the clutch as it doesn’t engage until the pedal is almost all the way out
Amazing episode! Thanks Autopia!
Thank you 👊
Insane how great a three versions are. I like the ending but all were great.
that car is so nice. I like the actual rs front signals but this was done so nice it works. The rear redo is perfect.
This car is going to be the inspiration for when I build my 88 Camaro LS swap. The color and the black rims are perfect.
Absolute pure showcar.
Is it truly possible for something to be this perfect?? this is one of the most beautiful builds i have ever seen!!!
Sweet ride!
I really love this!! ‘71 is my birth year!! Thank you so much for sharing!!
Mine too!
Beautiful music🏁🎼🚦
Beautiful!
Yeah, staggering build right here
Sick!
Badass, wouldn't change anything. Great review
Another excellent vid and badass ride👊
super cool !!
those exhaust look great
One of my favorite camaro's
Emperor Abyss me too. Best 2nd gen I’ve ever seen personally
Absolutely beautiful.
I'm gonna say it . Cars perfect . If anything is perfect anyway . Very tasteful for a radical car , these are some of my favorite types . Like the opposite of a F&F gaudy car . Class .
This is definitely a class design and build
