Tamworth Castle Fun Fair | Barkers Funfair April 2023

- It's a new ground and we have pushed new boundaries to Tamworth with Barkers fun fair, as we take a look at what new rides we can take on from Tamworth Castle.
In this vlog, we ride new rides to us at Tamworth Fair including Barkers Waltzer, Matterhorn, Extreme Frogs, dodgems and the fun house. We will also take you for a walkthrough tour of the ground and on a few rides too!
This ground was on until Sunday 16th April 2023, however they have EXTENDED and extra 2 weekends. Location of this ground is Tamworth Castle and parking is free on Sunday and bank holidays or £1 for 3 hours. Postcode B79 7ND
Although we don't do this area very often, we shall venture to more grounds in this area, this year. Check out our playlist from this area of other places we've been to here

I like those PWS frogs. They look impressive & I'm pleased you touched on that waltzer ops box. I thought that the ops box trailer was sat length ways rather than sideways because of the dancers being on the sides as well & I always get the Thriller Express matahorn mixed up with the midnight express matahorn because of the similarities between the artwork & sign
That waltzer has so much going for it... I didn't even cover everything as I learnt so much is such little time

Another fun fact about that waltzer. As well as the operator box being side ways it's also telescopic and can drop with the roof i think 0.8 meters. This is possibly because of the likelihood of coming across lower bridges than what you would find in the UK of which a UK spec waltzer would not fit and potentially lower height restrictions for HGV loads.
I was told it drops due to building heights, so it can fit through... Very well thought through

Saw your vlog on Friday and decided to have a ride down there today and i can see why the height restriction is higher on that Miami it was absolutely brutal. Seemed as thought the restraint didn't come down as far as they normally do on lap bars which meant it would really throw you out your seat.
Now then, I'll make sure I try it out next time! If it's super fast then I'm all in!!
