#1 hair has to be virgin to get this color (if you have had your hair previously colored the color will turn out different even if it has been a while)

You looked good with dark hair, it complimented your dark eyes. Aand you look good with the light brown as well, it compliments your light eyebrows. Also, didn't know you could lighten hair without bleach, now my virgin black hair is scheduled to go through a change!!
If you mix the haircolor with 30 volume it lightens.

@@Maríadea04 if you have natural, uncolored or unbleached hair, you can lighten up your hair just with hair color. The higher the volume, the more it lightens up. 20 volume is like 2 tones lighter, 30 like 3 tones and 40 volume can even lighten it for 4 tones.
@@Maríadea04 depends on the brand of the hair color. With majirel (L'Oreal), 1 tube of hair color is like 50 ml. Then you put 75 ml of the developer. Every brand is different. You have to look it up yourself

You have to use a higher volume developer like 30 volume that way it lightens your hair

i dyed my virgin black hair light brown too. i’ve dyed it only twice and it got lighter the 2nd time and imma do it again for more of a color lift. just get a honey blonde type color and you will notice a difference after a few times dying it 3-4 months apart each time.

If you have dark hair and go to light, you have bleached it. There is lighters in tbe product you use.
You can’t put dye on hair to make it lighter. You have to remove color via bleach and then add pigments.
So yes you have bleached it.

The mixing ratio is 1:1 so its balanced if she used two boxes you would use two bottles of developer

@@sisi2388 i used the exact one she mentions in the description i brought it from walmart this is the name on the site: Koleston Perfect 9% Creme Developer 30 Vol by Wella for Unisex - 33.8 oz Treatment. keep in mind it is really big considering its almost 34 ounces which i didnt realize. the box says to use equal parts of dye and developer but i think her stylist used 1 part dye 2 parts developer for more color

hello sorry it took me so long to answer these questions i wasnt able to contact my hairdresser for a while but all my hairdresser used for my hair was two boxes of the koleston dye in the video and koleston 30 vol developer

Don’t just describe it, just screenshot the part of this video when she shows her hair. Show the hairstylist that photo so she sees what you want, and the end result will be closer to what you want

that might actually be even more helpful to ur hairdresser than a picture but just show her both i guess

In the same boat, i just cut off all my bleached (level 7)hair. I’m a natural level 2 and i want to go warm red brown but I don’t have experience with how damaging lifting 2 levels is. sigh

Hey do you mix the dye with the volume developer as i tried it and its not working
this makes me very confused because hair dye only deposits color, and when it doesnt have an appropriate canvas, it wont show up
