These chicken breed is awesome to butcher to eat and decent to dress out too. So miss that i cant do that any more. My late husband and i used to raise and dress ar least a hundred of those meat birds. Thank you giys for sharing. Really enjoy your videos. Just found your channel about a month ago im hooked.
Great video, John and family. I just put another batch of birds in the brooder today, PS I can tell the difference with adding grit Thanks again buddy.
Nice looking tractors and a great, healthy looking flock. I keep mine on lower protein too, to help slow their growth and let the bones catch up to the body weight. Haven't had any problems in years. Keep up the good work!
I just across your video, small cages but nice explained. I just love the set up, looking forward to do the same.i have learned due to your videos….thank you for sharing with us.
@SarahPerine they are 10x20 going down hill she can or we hook the handle on the cart and she can pull them. The trick is getting your wheels set at the right height so your not dragging the back 2x4
I am starting my chicken project right now. You have a smart system but not sure if I missed that part, how long do you have them in one place, how often you move them? Thanks!

Hello my dear friend. You said the length of this chicken coop is 20 feet. How many feet wide is it? How many mature chickens can be kept in a chicken coop of this size?
@@KCFarms Thank you very much my friend for your kindness in replying. There were 5-6 old videos of yours that I watched tonight. They are Cornish cross and that is common in the summer. They put all the food energy into growing big quickly and sometimes don’t grow in feathers in the warm months
My in-laws had the same chickens, the meat was of poor quality and not tasty at all. These poor chickens haven't been able to walk at all for the last few weeks.
Yes there is something wrong with gmo foods. After colonoscopy and being diagnosed with diverticulitis the directions given to me by my physician was to exclude gmo foods. Also when a fly wont land on a gmo and it will not rot for a month then something is wrong.
The system you've built for poultry farming is not only efficient This is our 2nd time raising cornish cross, they are the best tasting chickens ever

great work we dont do cornish due to health reasons and looks alone. great chicken tractors!
Great job
I am starting my chicken project right now. You have a smart system but not sure if I missed that part, how long do you have them in one place, how often you move them? Thanks!
We move them twice a day. Each time before we feed them In the morning and evening
Thanks!@@KCFarms
We use the same hatchery and the same feed! NatureCrest for the layers also! Have you noticed your yolks not being as orange as a corn based feed?
I feel like ours change throughout the year depending on how many bugs their eating. Not sure if that’s why
Куккруза , гарбуз .
И количество солнца попавшего на гребешки курам .
Hi wanted to know what you do at night time means how to save from weather and other harmful animals

I have never heard of Nature crest. It looked like crumbles? What do you feed your layers?
We use a non gmo layer pellet. The feed is from tucker milling company
I didn't think you could pull that coop!
It’s surprisingly not that bad to move
Love how large your tractors are! Is this the suscovich build? Great idea! What are the measurements?
These are 10x20 carports we just put frames around them
so what about winter and rainy days do you still breed them in the same shelter
Nice vidéo ! You are never attack by fox or some think like this ? Thanks you !
Hope read you !
Haven’t had issues yet with predators
How many bird can safely go into one of these 4x20 tractors im wanting to do 100-120 birds
that's pretty tight imo..
Hello. How many hours a day do you have to spend caring for and feeding chickens?
When we are in full swing probably an hour a day

I have never reseeded. Don’t know enough about it
Really good. But isnt there small predators like marten?
Awesome
Do you buy fertilized eggs or you breed your own stock?
We purchase day old Cornish cross from valley farms hatchery

Agreed. We don't use grit either
Would feeding non gmo food make a difference if your feeding it to GM chicken breeds?
Cornish are not genetically modified they are a result of selective breeding.
portable lawn care huh, fertilizes/cut mower.....how many bags of feed per acre?
❤❤
So you only need the heat lamp for the first two weeks
all depends on the time of year and if it is warm enough

Can u tell me the size of your cage?

Do you sell chickens n ship out of state stores?
We sell from the farm and at local farmers markets
Correction. Timestamp 10:52: Chinese people like to drink warm water.

А почему куры на ногах не стоят? Некоторые и едят сидя.?
Remember to brine these awesome birds before you cook them.
why are your chicken tractors so far apart from eachother?
Cause they all started up near the house and the next batch didn’t come out of the brooder for another 3 weeks
Why do a lot of chickens have bald spots on them??
They are Cornish cross and that is common in the summer. They put all the food energy into growing big quickly and sometimes don’t grow in feathers in the warm months
Any reason the tractors are so far apart.
Started them at different times so one was already moving when other birds came out of brooders
What size are this chicken tractor?
10x20

Can you sell me some and ship them to Southeast Texas 77630?
Would love to but we haven’t looked into shipping yet
Those are chickens are not free they still live in a cage all the time
They are moved twice daily off their poop and they are not easy target for hawks, dogs, raccoons, or other predators. We like to call them safe range.
