I love it. The oil was kinda overboard her hair looked nice and oiled after dryer process additional oil wasn't nessasary but very nice. Thanks for the upload
in my opinion you could of held off on all the extra oils , when straightening natural hair oil really isn't necessary because in the few days after natural oils will penetrate the hair shaft . you want your hair to be as light and movable as possible . your hair shouldn't be like when I move , you move , just like that 🙄

Her type of hair texture will soak up all the product anyway. By day two or three her hair will be light and voluminous. So stop judging and just appreciate the video.

+j r That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The process is getting the hair done. After the process you should have the desired results...not wait days for them. I have natural hair. I do my own, and when I'm done, it's perfect. I don't wait for days. It's also shiny and blows in the wind. Not greasy and weighed down. Try again.

To my surprise...NOTHING TO SHOW FOR ALL THE ADVICE SOME R GIVING.

I'm so amazed at how us black women are doing everything natural and healthy now. It's actually historic that relaxers are not common anymore. I'm a nanny for a little black girl and I be side eyeing her mom for relaxing her hair because the sooner the hair journey begins the better. And I remember when I got relaxers as a little girl and my hair would be cute for like 1 week then dry then break and the cycle would just keep going and all my mom knew to do was perm my hair :/

yes, I recently went to a Dominican Salon 2 weeks ago and I still have a lot of body & bounce. I explained that I didn't want my hair to look flat/weighed down.
The stylist didn't look very experienced - even when she started to blow dry. The client didn't appear confident in who was in her hair. Just my opinion.
Why so much negativity? I follow white stylist and their comments aren't nearly as cold and venomous as the ones I find on AA natural hair videos. If she is doing such a bad job, post links to your videos so we can see the correct procedure.

Uhm her hair is weighed down. Any natural would know that oil is not needed when straightening hair. Oil and heat is a big no no. No wonder she already has heat damage. And secondly whatever happened to detangling the hair, sectioning it, and then proceeding to blow dry STARTING AT THE BACK? This whole process didn't sit well with me.

Just my biased opinion, buy the stylist didn't appear to be very experienced or comfortable - even when she started to blow dry. The client didn't even appear confident in who was in her hair.
One of the most important parts is the blow dry, would've been nice to see it.
+StylesbyBlendingbella for a Dominican blow out it would have been important, but not for a natural who doesn't want to use much heat. The less heat the better. Actually rollers would have been better. Most naturals avoid heat because it ruins their natural curl pattern...for most of us the kinky pattern is the reason why we like being natural.

No more creamy crack (perm) to achieve the relaxed look thank God!
Yea the not a silk blow out , it's not even a normal blow out. it's more of a hard press. because it heavy and weighed down. when you apply product to hair after its been blow dried you are cooking the hair. And the flat ironing technique is incorrect as well yu are never supposed to pump the roots because you're burning them and thinning them out. when she shook her hair it barely moved
I did mine nd couldn't get it straight like dis. my flat iron is up to 220 degrees
