Holy, the section about Hero track gear felt so out of touch. I'm not even close to being done with Runed crests and I've spent all of them to the cap. If you're not raiding Heroic and full clearing every week then you're mostly getting 610 gear from M+ then you need 45 per slot to fully upgrade. Thats two pieces a week guys. Blizzard is killing me by changing the Gilded crest drop to +9s, pugging this season has been a hell.
Zero mythic raid, not even AOTC, I have two champion pieces left and a total of 2 runed crest upgrades left on my current hero track pieces. Two or more crafted pieces, one of which costs zero crests, free hero track tier from KSM. The fact that you aren't close doesn't mean the problem they're talking about isn't there. It just means you haven't reached it yet. The problem is still a problem if you reach it in week 6 instead of week 2.
I find it amusing that both Dratnos and Dorki are way more into Delves than the "moles" are, but are low-key cloaking it. They know way more about Zekvir and T11 tuning changes than any uber-"mole", such as myself.
it is the endless cycle of trying to appeal to the pro players by pretending not to know the casual things, then trying to appeal to the casuals by pretending they do. what is their true state? we might never know
I will die on the hill that each week a certain number of mythic plus dungeons somewhere over 10 drop you myth track gear instead of hero track. It sucks being an m+ player and only seeing myth in vault.
You're missing the entire problem with M+ loot right now because your perspective is that of a 1% player who exclusively plays with coordinated teams. The problem is that people who pug basically NEED high hero/mythic track gear in order to clear 10s with any degree of consistency. Without it, trying to pug is a living hell because the success rate is insanely low. But the only way you can get high hero/mythic track gear is by clearing 10s in the first place. It's a catch-22! What's happening to tons and tons of people right now is they are reaching a HARD WALL at 8s and 9s, finding it impossibly slow to up their ilvl, then getting stuck in Pug Hell where they don't have the ilvl to ever get invited to good groups and even when they DO get in a group it probably blows up before completion. It's a fucking nightmare right now for people who don't have premades. It's even WORSE if you don't have a guild or steady/raiding group. It used to be that you could legitemately make decent progress each week as a pugger. Sure, it might have taken you 4 or 5 weeks to break through, but there was a steady and reasonable path to it. Now you're just completely shit out of luck. It's a miserable and pointless experience. If you dropped gilded crests to 7s or 8s and myth vaults to 9s you would instantly and drastically improve the pug experience. It's never been about free loot. It's been about giving the middle 50% of players a reason to keep grinding. Right now that group basically has zero reason to play the game anymore.
Preach. The experience for the average player is terrible right now. Really not what you want if you're a video game company. Players are just going to hit a wall and unsub. Upgrading your gear and increasing your character's power is a core part of an MMO experience, and that is going to be lacking for many players. It's just not worth the time and suffering. Players will peace out.
This is me as HPal this season. I managed to get Week1 KSM which was a fun challenge. Now, as a heroic raider progging Ansurek, I don't have a realistic shot at timing 9-10s, so I'm locked out of reaching Myth gear form the GV, locked out of getting any meaningful amount of Gilded crests, and there's just no getting over the hump. I am mostly looking forward to getting AotC and peacing out, making this my shortest season ever. To make things worse, I've got to spend time in Delves/Zekvir doing mindless content cause they drop Hero track gear? How does that make any sense? How do delves make any sense in a challenge/reward curve? Blizzard HAS to remember there's just too many good games out there to deliver this unbalanced mess. PoE2 comes out in ~40 days.
take 1000 +1s. and of course these guys miss the point per usual lol I love listening to them but it's way too often they sound like out of touch tryhards who have zero understanding of what a vast vast vast majority of players experience.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time this problem has happened. I remember this shit from legion where the iLvl you needed to complete a m+ was considerably higher than the ilvl that the dungeon dropped. I think that was back in the titanforging days though so maybe they just expected you to get lucky and get some god gear which never happened to me.
The new affixes are fine. They just need the bugfix treatment for bad overlaps and fixes to spots where you can’t do them (e.g. orbs affix on last boss SoB) like the other ones got overtime.
11 to 12 is like conquering a small village of neanderthals with no tools and then you step in the 12 and its like attempting to siege Rome at its height
The problem with M+ right now is crests, not the difficulty or mythic track dropping on 10s. Its that you have 4/8 hero track gear that youre stuck with at 419 until you do 10s. Feels really bad that youre just at a wall on your hero gear and then when you break that wall you dont want to use crests on hero gear cause now you have access to mythic track.... My answer is you make delves drop all levels of crests, or drop the key level you get mythic crests at. Gives you a reason to do them even if they are easy at higher levels. Yes it makes another chore on the list, but it keeps delves relevant.
This type of solution is exactly how they have ruined every piece of temporary content or big feature of an expansion. Release mediocre or even decent content > get feedback > ignore feedback and force players who take the game even slightly seriously to do content they don’t enjoy > ??? > 3 patches later “fix” it so it’s not as much of a chore
Crests drop in 9s, but everyone either wants to do 10s to fill vault or 7s for trinkets. And it's made even worse by 10s being major step up in difficulty and key depletions only giving 5 crests.
Indeed it is very stupid, but i think the timegating on crests is even worse. I just hate getting only 90 crest per week, the timegating is so insanely boring. Oh yippie i gotta way another week to upgrade my myth track.
I agree. I think Gilded Crest should drop from 7+ since it's where the 15+ death penalty starts. And it would make 7+ keys a little more attractive to actually do, it seems like every key below 9 is basically a dead-key, or you will be stuck with some pretty bad players in those key levels. Maybe just let it give 5 Crest or whatever, so if you just wanna chill and gear up you can do that, but if you wan't more challenging content you can do higher keys for more Crest. Give people both options imo.
@@coconutflour9868best idea I've heard for gearing in years. Feels bad when u have to spend two weeks of vault to get a helm/wrist/belt + socket to upgrade a heroic track one that's socketed. If that took one vault would feel a lot less bad
The way to fix M+ is leave the key difficulty the same, but revert the change to where crests and vault rewards come from. Put myth track back in the vault for completing +8 dungeons, and put Gilded crests in say a +7 or a +8 as well, maybe not a +6 like Dragonflight had. They made tanking worse and dungeons harder, and then made them less rewarding by putting those rewards further up the track. Leave the new affixes, but put the rewards back down the tack a notch or two and I bet M+ would be in a much better spot.
they're barely even worth fucking doing until you're getting hero+ drops because delves entirely devalued them. same goes for normal raid basically. the only thing that's keeping delves from completely making those 2 modes of content irrelevant for gear is the key and daily limit
It's a real mystery as to why they decided to change this in the first place. The reward system in Seasons 3 and 4 was the best it's ever been. Not totally freeloot, but not overly gatekept either. I've never played more of this game than during season 3 for that very reason, I felt like there was always a decent opportunity to progress my characters, now it's a nightmare to get any rewards from M+, and you can far more easily fill your chest with Heroic gear by chain killilng ZekVir for 30 minutes once a week.
@@JumboCod91they changed it because they were scared the mode would take over and devalue raids - as they want raids to be the defining content of this game. But then they introduced a new mode (delves) which they want to sell and make popular, whilst dragging down M+ rewards simultaneously. So now M+ is weak on two fronts. There's only so much desire to play and so many hours in a day. If you're getting good rewards elsewhere, there's very little point in playing M+ right now, except some low keys to fill up your vault.
I will say that aside from the m+ problems that were discussed, I LOVE that there are no affixes! Also love that we don't need tyranical AND fort score anymore! So nice to have it back to just your bighest key, period.
I'm loving Delves. I love that I can actually progress some end game gear at my own pace. I can do it with my friend if I want or do it on my own. It's a major win for me. It doesn't have a whole lotta of replay value to YOU Dorkie because you do the other end game stuff. For me, I don't and it DOES have a lot of value.
@@akunomatata7897as an m+ player ... m+ is kinda just how like mario speedrunning exists lol like u just kinda enjoy figuring out challenges for hundreds of hours of the same style of thinga
Fair points about gear M+, Delves, and Raids. I said exactly what I heard on the PoddyC, I need to run Heroic. Been a M+ gearer lately, but now H Raid is a requirement every week.
I no longer have the time to raid mythic, so the combined nerfs to m+ gearing AND no longer raiding... I am so behind in gear compared to my friends. This should definitely be the case to some extent, especially early on, but it does not feel good
I feel that. I get maybe 2 hours a day play time working graveyards and having 2 young kids, the only exception would be my days off where I go degen and play 9PM- 4/5AM and and I spend most of that time trying to catch up on my delves and trying to pug a couple of heroic vault slots and my guild is all 620+ and I'm just chilling at 605 -.- Pugging keys has been awful so far because people don't know what they're doing and I don't want to wast an hour in a +5 no leaver =/
I play a decent amount but dont raid and its awkward being at a key level where everyone im inviting or applying to the thinks im applying to have 5 ilvls avg on me rn lol
Playing Dev, just got over 2400 and 620 ilvl but can't even get invites to keys anyways because of braindead tier lists. The players make me not want to keep trying to push more than the way the game is made. Even doing my own keys has been cancer because people get all pissy when you ask them to help with interrupts and CC because they can't stand anyone saying anything. L community this season from my pov
Zekvir was giga bugged on release and you could do it with the bugged Brann just doing the fight for you. I think that's why they nerfed it so heavily.
They really missed with M+ this season. I’m a player who normally gets portals near the end of a season, and it feels pointless to play. Needing 10s to get the next track of gear when I can barely do 8s means I just sit the entire season. Maybe next season if they fix it.
I am so one of the delve people. Helps me not feel like I must do m+ to hold back my heroic raid team like I did in the past. Raid and delve each week has me happy.
imagine dating Dratnos and you come home every day and he's just like "hey, ya, I've got another intro for you before you look in the kitchen. Some things happened..."
I usually watch mostly Max’s stream the little bit that I do watch the race (which is like.. sub 5% usually). This go around I watched mostly Team Liquid stream and like 10x as much of it because anytime I saw dratnos was casting I was like ‘ooh this will be good content.’ So yeah. Great play, having him cast!
m0 dungeons should give champion track. why would you try a dungeon when you can face roll delves for better gear? also hard agree on the hero track. extend that stuff to 632 and make it use runed crests until 626. the difference between champion and hero track are literally 7 ilvl which doesn't make sense at all.
m0s are just at an awkward spot where they take more effort to get into then the people who would not just do higher keys want to put into getting a group.
As a Portal/AotC player, I’m fairly happy with the difficulty of M+ and raid. My major issue is that a +6 is significantly more difficult (especially in pug) than delves but the rewards are hugely upside down. All for them making M0 harder but M+ rewards need to improve relative to delves. Maybe +10 dropping Myth track instead of just vault.
I'm around the same level player, and I feel like the system they had last two seasons was almost perfect. +8 giving you myth track vaults was excellent, and it made enticing rewards available to alts if you invested in them a little, which just made me play the game so much more. Now however, the effort involved in getting even one +10 vault is just not worth the time and energy as far as I'm concerned, particularly since I do not pug and prefer to play with friends.
I like the affixes compared to the old ones, the old ones were not only terrible but they had been around so long that it was making M+ feeling like just more of the same every season but this has made M+ not only feel like its part of the expac with Void Mommy paying you a visit and talking to you in every key, like her saying "To Late!!!" and laughing at you is so cool and just not something we have had in M+ before but I do feel like the 11 and higher key difficulty missed the mark
Keys have felt so bad for me this season because of how many people are either chasing score and leaving keys everyone needs for loot/crests, I'm talking like +9s. And to make it worse, I can't recoup that lost time, I'm very busy at this point in my life right now so I can only really spend enough time to attend 2x raid days and do a few hours of M+ a week.
Your busy life is not a problem of people goin into m+ with You. It’s 10 times harder to get invited when people see you have failed a key. It’s a wow community thing. It is what it is.
My M+ experience as a dps. As a 610 ret. Beg people to take me or do my own key. Doing my own key waiting two hours for a healer and tank or take a 619 healer and 580 dps. While hearing the podcast I went from a M+9 to a M+6. Two wipes and people left one wipe healer left. there goes my key.😅
Thank fuck, for once we don't get welfare Myth track items from weekly low keys forcing people to participate in M+ for months on end to keep their guy geared.
@45:00 I have played since original beta. Killed Lich King then our guildies collectively grew up and got real jobs and had kids. I pop in every expansion and play, sometimes a few months, sometimes the whole expansion. I have only played solo since I stopped raiding, no LFR raids or Heroics/Mythics. I'm sure I could do raids/dungeons, but I don't want to. The content isn't the hard part, finding people to play with is AND being able to walk away if I had to. I would find it way easier to consider walking away from a FPS match than I would for a WoW dungeon/raid. Follower dungeons in DF let me see content in the same expansion rather than out leveling/gearing or revisiting past content. For me, alts and professions are (were?) my end game normally. Dragon Flight gave me a way to gear my characters to a point where I felt powerful enough in open world content (season veteran gear w/ some champion). Delves takes it further. I can understand the viewpoints of raiders and mythic dungeoneers that delves are "free loot" but Blizz may be playing to the shifting realities of the WoW player base. They see the numbers of what players are doing, so if players are like me and not raiding/mythic'ing what can they do to to keep them engaged? I don't know the answer but I have been playing delves. The difference between delves and dungeons/raid is if Bran does something stupid vs a person.
the cooldown reduction affix was kinda nice, some SL season 3 vibes, -15s on death needs to go tho, pugs just die randomly to random stuff and always will
With the delve situation - its an insanely good way for new players to build confidence to go into M+ groups - Heroics is not very good in that matter since there isent really any hard mechanics that can instant kill you, but delve tier 8+ there is a ton of things.
As a casual this is the most I've ever played keys and I'm loving the new affixes. I feel like I'm actually learning the keys and not have to relearn everything week in and week out. I do think most of the communities' issues stem from how hard it is to get gilded now for AotC-type players like myself. On the one hand it totally makes sense for gilded/mythic track stuff to be behind mythic difficulty content but on the other hand it just simply hasn't been this way in the past and it feels bad for those used to it.
Curious if there's any thoughts on the overall gold cost just to play the game now. I'm bleeding gold doing M+ and easily spending over thousand per dungeon from repair costs/flasks/potions/jumper cables/etc... I'd really love for there to be a better way to farm gold by actually doing engaging PvE content (OSRS does this insanely well with rare BoE drops from hard bosses) but even if every Mythic Dungeon gave same augment runes or had like a 20% chance at higher keys to give the item that adds a socket I think it would make playing these dungeons way more rewarding at higher levels without having to resort to boosts.
M+/Loot problem seems to be for the AOTC level players. They were used to farming up Myth track gear through M+ in the past, and it's very clearly tuned that they Myth track M+ has a difficulty aligned with the skill of a cutting edge player. I am not sure how I feel about it yet, but that new normal is what's causing so much pain for the community.
How I would improve M+ in two-three changes: 1) Remove guile buffs at +12, turn off bargain affix but it does not need to add more scaling. I feel the intent is to make +12 not feel easier than +11 but the loss of the kiss part of the bargain does this. 2) Lower gilded crests from +9 to +8. 2.5) Lower Myth 1 vault from +10 to +9. For delves I wouldn't have the higher delves drop higher gear, but dropping more or higher crests from the higher delves would be nice as an optional way to farm some crests. It wouldn't be the most fun or the fastest but just another way to do it.
I think they want an affix other than tyr/fort. I say they just keep the rotating xalatath affix. That’s it. Tyr and fort + that. Keys scale normally. 12=12 not 14
@@MangertEternal Yes. Tyran and fort are fine you have both at 10 and the rotation of them helps the feeling of variety for lower key runners which is good. Xalatath's guile at 12 that basically doubles fort and tyran in addition to loosing the bonus from the bargain. Its described as going to a 14 but with the loss of the buff I would say its almost going to 15 or 16... and that is too much.
if you drop to 7 giving gilded then you run into the issuye with alts of doing the keys for hero gaer, but youre not getting any crest to upgrade it until you have a myth track piece
My guild struggles with +2 keys, so lvl 8 delves are amazing for us lol. As we go 3+ weeks into the season, Delves are more for us casual Normal/Heroic raiders that only did M+ for gear.
I think they hit m+ right on the mark! Delves are cool for your alts when u dont feel like regrinding 2-6s . You can do delves with your friends who arent as good as you per say also. Delves are a perfect addition. Also for m+ 12 keys. I feel like they want you to be 634+ for those, also you should take a mythic raiding approach to these levels of keys with a analytic and coordinated approach. Its rly nice. Keys have a few affixs and i feel like i die to boss stuff or trash stuff only not the affixs. Also sometimes times can be tight in 11s and its so fun to race against the clock. IDK why ppl want ez free timers and gear. love yall
Delves are why I cam back to this game. I leveled an ult because I had nothing to do, I was able to run a T8 delve within 3 hours of hitting 80 and I did not have many WoE items I had like 2 584 or whatever items and I crafted a weapon and that was it. I was like 550 ilvl
Here is my cook. Move the death timer affix from +7 to +12. That affix makes a major difference between PuGs and coordinated groups. There is already a problem with leavers. Don’t need to further punish PuGs.
No timer until 10 Have 2-9 be 25-30 deaths. This would take away the stress for the pug weekly keys. They could just go slow and complete. +3 weekly affix +7 fort or tyran - gilded crests +10 timer and 5 sec deaths - myth track vault +12 fort and tyran - no weekly affix
Not only is the jump in m+ difficulty at 12 terrible for pugging.. but the crowd control changes are terrible. Every pack of mobs has multiple casters and we all know pugs do not interrupt. The way it used to work allowed a few players to carry the stops with well timed ccs. Now it’s just a bloodbath
They should invite Dorki to be a caster next race, at least a guest caster at some point. Put a cat plushie on the couch, and have Dorki from a speaker.
Im with this. nobody who does under a 7 would complain about the timer being removed and anybody who would have a problem above them has an opinion I don't really care about. my guildies are HARD suffering right now and I hate seeing them so stuck, frustrated and basically ALL of them quit M+ already...
Delves are cool for leveling alts, instead of struggling to get into a key with a rat alt you can go do your bountiful delves or even just spam zekvir’s lair for vault. I had a 500 ilvl shaman with season 4 dragonflight gear able to farm zekvir in like 3-4 minutes and get 3 hero track pieces when I never would’ve been able to get into a key at that ilvl
My AotC guild of civilians hates Delves, but the Zekvir nerfs made it more bearable. 2 minutes a run let's you fill vault in the same time it was taking them to finish one T8
The difference between 2-3 chesting a 11 with some slight hiccups vs missing 1 kick/not coordinating defensives and getting 1 shot by everything on a 12 seems extreme.
The big problem with m+ rewards is that it's a LOT harder than before, not just a little harder. Before you needed to do an 8 to get myth track. Now you need to do a 10 with challengers peril (15s on timer on death, 1 wipe is a bricked key on some of the keys) and the key is both tyrannical and fortified. I personally love the challenge and as someone that can get those keys down I don't mind it. Although, it is a BIG like BIIIIIIG jump from what it used to be. 8 with no CP and only Fort or Tyran -> 10 with CP + Fort + Tyran for the same vault. The thing I hate about rewards is that you can only get Myth track 1/6 even if you do 11s or up which is a stupid gilded crest dump. You can fully upgrade ONE piece every week with 90 crest cap, so dumb. They really have to rethink that system, but that is like one of the only problems of TWW tbh so W.
The kiss/curse thing I think is something you all missed on tbh. Except Dorki, he made a good point about the haste form of the Xally affix. What people are hating so much right now are all of the OTHER affixes and m+ changes. The change from 5s death penalty to 15s death penalty is abhorrent for pugging. The difficulty curve scales way too steeply right now. And the fact that you don't even feel like you get adequately compensated for the difficulty curve now because of the way they changed when you get heroi track gear and gilded crests. OH, AND the fact that they keep buffing enemy mobs/bosses and increasing how much trash count you need. You need about 90% of the trash in Necrotic Wake now and it sucks because as little variety you had beforehand on what you wanted to pull, now you have basically none.
Idk I like these affixed way more than previous ones in DF. There was some issues getting the orbs last week and I think the emissary one is too easy. I also dont notice the dr from it, the affixes bonuses feel inconsequential
People are pissed about the kiss/curse because they didn't test things. Having the orbs spawn in water on Siege, or keeping you in combat with the Emissary...spawning mob buffing orbs on a roof in Dawnbreaker and other spots too. The timing is all off in a ton of mythics too
As someone who is in a pretty casual guild (my wife runs it) that likes to say we raid normal every tier for the story and the togetherness and simply dabbles in heroic (though we have somehow managed to squeak out an aotc every tier but one for the last 8 tiers), I do push a lot harder with a core group when it comes to m+. Usually get all the portals and approach 3k, but never bother pushing anywhere close to title- I have to say that you guys are not really understanding how intrinsic the delves loot slots are for people that play with a big bunch of friends and don’t sweep aside the less skilled players just to push. To some of us, the community we belong to is more important than how deep we push into the content, but previously, having my core group of 5-6 friends and family members that like to push deep into m+ has made it so that we at least felt like we could get ahead. The current state of m+ is leaving people like us a little bit cold. We are just finally starting to overcome the wall of 6 to +7, and the lack of raid gear (and the fact that delves give us our best source of gear way too often) means that we aren’t actually doing the content we want to do most. Well, we are, but we are hurting because of it. The number of times one of us has said ‘you know if we were just doing 4 tier 8 delves a day we’d be better geared right now’. Anyway, yeah. Yeah I get that the high end pugging community is pushing into 10s already (and we even have one buddy who pugs a ton, unlike most of us who all refuse to pug, that is already trying to overcome the 9-10 wall. He’s not really any better than us, just that pugging is leap-frogging him ahead a bit, imo). But it’d be great if you guys talked about the in-between players a bit! Sorry for the massive comment, I have a lot to say on this topic. Keep up the amazing podcast. Love you guys!!
The solution is to give Myth track end of dungeon on 12+ (or even 13-15). People who says that would be farmeable are just insane and probably haven't stepped into a 12.
These affixes are infinitely better than previous ones, honestly. The main issue for me is how horrible the xalataths guile etc at 7 and 12 are, I think they should incrementally be implemented, like you start off with 5s additional death timers, scaling upwards as well as less damage from +12, scaling up, if not just removing the damage component entirely. Tanking is miserable right now.
front facing Dorki is the most cursed thing I've ever seen wtf

This is the correct take.
really honored that Max chose for his last words an entire podcast to entertain us. feel better man, no hockey until you have lungs again.
^ this. IMO definitely crests are the problem
Hear me out, add the option to use catalyst charges to jump a max upgraded item up one track. (Max hero -> myth etc.)
Have that as a thing you can buy with 6 tokens from the great vault, like sockets
@@coconutflour9868cook
@@coconutflour9868best idea I've heard for gearing in years. Feels bad when u have to spend two weeks of vault to get a helm/wrist/belt + socket to upgrade a heroic track one that's socketed. If that took one vault would feel a lot less bad
Ye this is a great idea and just better than the first comment @@coconutflour9868
I mean, heroic raid barely drops anything I need, after delves and vault slots. The only thing worth doing is spamming M+ 9s.
There is nothing I like more then getting commercials before a video then an ad for a patreon then right back into UA-cam ads
3 Steps to fix M+. 1) Hero Track to 8/8. 2) Gilded Crests drop from +7. 3) Mythic Vault from +9
I'm surprised to hear people don't like the new affixes, I've been really enjoying them.
Theres just times it happens that completely ruin a key like necrotic wake 3rd boss spear burn and necrotic wake add phase 2nd boss
I will say that aside from the m+ problems that were discussed, I LOVE that there are no affixes! Also love that we don't need tyranical AND fort score anymore! So nice to have it back to just your bighest key, period.
Dratnos screaming “WORLD FIIIIRST!!” Was an all time Mike Breen level call
I'm loving Delves. I love that I can actually progress some end game gear at my own pace. I can do it with my friend if I want or do it on my own. It's a major win for me.
It doesn't have a whole lotta of replay value to YOU Dorkie because you do the other end game stuff. For me, I don't and it DOES have a lot of value.
id say it has more replay value than the same 8 dungeons with no real changes for 6 months XD M+ players are weird :P
@@akunomatata7897as an m+ player ... m+ is kinda just how like mario speedrunning exists lol like u just kinda enjoy figuring out challenges for hundreds of hours of the same style of thinga

I wish i could get more gilded crests from delves. even if it was just 2 from a t11
T8 delves are so easy yet give you hero in vault, while T11 is ridiculously hard and gives absolutely nothing...
Fair points about gear M+, Delves, and Raids. I said exactly what I heard on the PoddyC, I need to run Heroic. Been a M+ gearer lately, but now H Raid is a requirement every week.
dude dorki being surprised that people wanted more myth track loot 😂
For beeing Maxes last pod before hes going to the Shadowlands irl, it was a good one. F
They really missed with M+ this season. I’m a player who normally gets portals near the end of a season, and it feels pointless to play. Needing 10s to get the next track of gear when I can barely do 8s means I just sit the entire season. Maybe next season if they fix it.

Max with that sweet IRL Emperor Palpatine Tmog!
@@JumboCod91 agreed, on top of that I’m constantly capped on Runed crests and carved don’t do anything so I feel hard stuck compared to DF.
11s ok 12 is miserable
Two wipes and people left one wipe healer left. there goes my key.😅
m+ has never been less rewarding compared to raid
That's true, that's the main problem
Not rewarding, punishing, stressful.
Blizzard really wants to make people grow even more toxic
Thank fuck, for once we don't get welfare Myth track items from weekly low keys forcing people to participate in M+ for months on end to keep their guy geared.
Wrong lmfao
The difference between delves and dungeons/raid is if Bran does something stupid vs a person.
the cooldown reduction affix was kinda nice, some SL season 3 vibes, -15s on death needs to go tho, pugs just die randomly to random stuff and always will
Kiss/Curse affixes are excellent, but the -15 is literal developer brainrott.
Delves are something to do when my friends have gone to bed and I'm too sleepy to do anything challenging but not quite ready for bed.

Thanks Max. The Bench would never commit like you do.
I’d say make loot like awakened. From veteran-mythic. However, higher difficulty grants better versions of it, so you have a chance to save crests.
Curious if there's any thoughts on the overall gold cost just to play the game now. I'm bleeding gold doing M+ and easily spending over thousand per dungeon from repair costs/flasks/potions/jumper cables/etc...
I'd really love for there to be a better way to farm gold by actually doing engaging PvE content (OSRS does this insanely well with rare BoE drops from hard bosses) but even if every Mythic Dungeon gave same augment runes or had like a 20% chance at higher keys to give the item that adds a socket I think it would make playing these dungeons way more rewarding at higher levels without having to resort to boosts.
the way it is right now helps gold farmer/sellers cause they're the ones spending all day flying around gathering. not ideal.
Relative to M+ gearing, they already nerfed tanks, that's enough added difficulty without raising the key level needed to get crests.
Lovely episode Frank
M+/Loot problem seems to be for the AOTC level players. They were used to farming up Myth track gear through M+ in the past, and it's very clearly tuned that they Myth track M+ has a difficulty aligned with the skill of a cutting edge player. I am not sure how I feel about it yet, but that new normal is what's causing so much pain for the community.
Podhead sounds great, I'm sure alot of us smoke and would collectively agree Podhead is great.
Delves do seem to be one of the big sources of weekly rep, which I think lends them some of the chore feeling.
How I would improve M+ in two-three changes:
1) Remove guile buffs at +12, turn off bargain affix but it does not need to add more scaling.
Max keeps saying the raid tuning "wasn't intentional" as if that makes it better, but it means Blizzard is incapable of tuning a raid correctly.
IDK why ppl want ez free timers and gear. love yall
Did you just call me a pottyhead? A toiletbrain? TheDookieDiddler? I… Good Day sir.
Im only here for the random draty fronk snipes. Its been years and its still as savage 😂
Love Max getting mind blown by finding out Illidan and Malfurion are bros. lol
Here is my cook. Move the death timer affix from +7 to +12. That affix makes a major difference between PuGs and coordinated groups. There is already a problem with leavers. Don’t need to further punish PuGs.
You are our Poddymouths and we are your Podpeople
M+ is completely fine right now. The dungeons are fun and it's fun to push keys.
No timer until 10
Have 2-9 be 25-30 deaths. This would take away the stress for the pug weekly keys. They could just go slow and complete.
+3 weekly affix
+7 fort or tyran - gilded crests
+10 timer and 5 sec deaths - myth track vault
+12 fort and tyran - no weekly affix
Nah "blow up" had me literally dying.
I love the PoddyC.
Man, I'm amazed that I found someone who's more checked out of the lore than I am
My hot take, is make keys under +7 untimed. Then the +7 affix can be timers instead of +15 seconds.
Im with this. nobody who does under a 7 would complain about the timer being removed and anybody who would have a problem above them has an opinion I don't really care about. my guildies are HARD suffering right now and I hate seeing them so stuck, frustrated and basically ALL of them quit M+ already...
I like this
What would the purpose of that be. You may as well make 7s into 0s at that point. They only need scaling help. Not the whole point of m+ removed
Max finding out malfurion is illidans brother is killing me.
The difference between 2-3 chesting a 11 with some slight hiccups vs missing 1 kick/not coordinating defensives and getting 1 shot by everything on a 12 seems extreme.
Max not knowing that Malfurion and Illidan were brothers is so funny, dude really does not give a single fuck about the lore and you gotta respect it
The big problem with m+ rewards is that it's a LOT harder than before, not just a little harder.
Zekvir ?? was unkillable for many classes after the Brann nerfs, and it would've continued to be so, so it needed to be reworked considerably.
People are pissed about the kiss/curse because they didn't test things. Having the orbs spawn in water on Siege, or keeping you in combat with the Emissary...spawning mob buffing orbs on a roof in Dawnbreaker and other spots too. The timing is all off in a ton of mythics too
that spellslinger firedup showout tho... hahah
I live for the pre-roll dratty
