Love this one, was the first song I taught myself on piano thanks to synthesia and I still have the muscle memory down even 11 years later. Axel would be proud

@wadey yep, I was grounded every weekday for all of high school due to shit parents so I had plenty of time to just brute force learn piano songs via synthesia videos. Think this one took a bit over 3 months and then kyle's cover of the other opening KH song took at least 5 since that one is a lot faster..
@@bojxit52 That's insane and very inspiring. I'm pretty new to piano but I think I'm learning quickly. I know that I could learn awesome songs like this but I struggle with consistency :(
@wadey yeah, sadly consistency is vital but even 10-20mins of practice a day to build up muscle memory could be enough to get it down some day and its well worth it.
Personally I worked on one small chunk of the left hand first since it has more of a simple pattern to it and practiced it frequently until my muscle memory had it down to where I didnt have to think about what I was doing and can just play it. Then would work on the same section for the right hand but just enough to where I at least vaguely knew what the notes and rhythm was. Then would follow the synthesia video again and put left hand on auto pilot while trying to follow the video's timing with my right hand until it eventually fell into place together.
Then just rinse repeat for the several sections of the piece. Makes it way more bite-sized and less daunting, and with time I know you can pick it up well enough
Time to learn this one and many more KH music pieces. I was 11 yrs old when I first heard Kyle's cover and that's the reason why I want to play. I only have 66keys piano UNTIL YESTERDAY. Now I'm 22 and just bought my first 88 keys piano. Time to grind. Thanks to my uncle that they bought me the 66keys.
