One lady on UA-cam suggests only touching hair 4 times a year , leave them in cornrows and wash them in cornrows every month for 3 months , on the 3rd month you take them doing and redo the cornrows . As someone who has constant breakage I’m going to try this for a year .

Yes making protective style and leaving it for long before take down would help you with length retention. But don't neglect your hair when it's in a ps

I just saw that video. Hers were 4 weeks. I can’t imagine 12 weeks. The hair will most likely be tangles. But heard it works great.

If it's only a month then your hair grows really fast, 😆 looks like 2months of growth
