One point not addressed in this video is how an audio alarm (at minimum to attract the attention of the homeowner) is triggered when a sprinkler is activated. If a fire initiates, human intervention is required asap to insure that the fire source has been adequately suppressed and to shut off the sprinkler system to avoid undue water damage to the property.
3:59 look behind, someone missed the floor joints 3 nails out
How much would this cost?
I’m interested in having one installed.
ive never seen white sprinkler pipe, only orange blazemaster brand.
I've seen white pexpipe for sprinklers, which is marked with a red stripe down the whole thing.
I’ve been doing service n installs for 20+ years I’ve never seen anything but blaze master.
"The joint lasts forever!"
Until it doesn't, and then you have to replace it - which sounds like an actual pain if everything is so specialised.
Plastic pipes wknt melt if water is in them
the fire dept will not shut off the water
They will if the fire is out.
is there any sprinkler system that can be put on the outside of the drywall.
Maybe a sidewall sprinkler
All of them can. It all depends on what the homeowner wants.
CPVC fire sprinkler systems are obsolete.
So what IS the 'Correct' system?
There is so much wrong with this sprinkler system.
like what? ive always been interested in home systems.
Plastic pipes for sprinklers? seriously? Totally wrong and disapproved!
Shut up 🤐
Come on, ask yourself. In the event of a major fire, would those plastic pipes withstand not melting? But let only you be smart 🤣🤣
@@radoslavkljajic7459 those are wirsbo fitting and wirsbo tubing they're actually very tough we use em alot in plumbing they get a bit flexible but they would have to be under direct extreme heat for awhile whereas the sprinkler system is set to avoid that by shooting water when reaching a certain temperature 👀
@@F14koFreegun I agree with you, and your stated facts. But I think such an installation cannot get fire proteckt aprove due to insurance. For first aid ok, but for something more serious personally I would never accept this type of installation.
@@radoslavkljajic7459 this installation is standard now for a reason it holds up if you don't trust it its fine but its not plastic lol rewatch the video or look it up I stand by wirsbo tho
