This kit removes the PAIR System which allows you to get a more accurate fuel to air ratio when tuning the bike. It will also reduce the amount of exhaust popping. When the bike is back together I'll take it out for a ride and let you know how different the bike is.

Great Vid, thank you. I just put on a full Akra exhaust with the Rapid Bike Evo tuning module on 2017 BMW S1000R. It sounds so good but does pop a lot on decelerations. Did this work out well for you, worth it?
Hi and your welcome, oh that's some nice mods. I bet she sounds great now! Yes I'd say it worked very well at reducing the popping. A lot of manufactures recommend this mod if your using a full titanium system as the popping can cause damage but not so needed with a steel system. All the best, Griz.
@@SixthGearMotorcycles i just ordered a full titanium akra gp system for my 17 s1000rr do you think I should do block off plates? It’s just a street bike too
@@MADLITS1K I think block off plates are recommended when fitting a full titanium system mate, so I would yes 👍

I would next time cover over the throttle body throats to stop something falling in.
Yep we’ll spotted! If you watch my other vids you notice I always do that, I was rushing and skipped covering them. Everything got a through cleaning before reassembly though ☺️👍😂

You shouldn't get a error show on the gen 1 and 2 models no 👍
@@SixthGearMotorcycles thanks man :) I have a 2015 rr with full titanium akra racing and PC5 :) it does a lot of pop at low rpm but not on slick mode
No problem, not sure if you will or won't get a fault code show on a 2015 but it will definitely reduce the popping 👍

Ha when I first started the channel on UA-cam it was called captain caveman, and Taffy went by the name of Taffy dare as that was captain caveman’s sidekick 😂 I hope this has put your mind at rest 😂 just got back from a ride and the bike still pops and bangs like a good un! 👌😁
