We Put a GoPro on a Jet Turbine RC | Fouga CM.170 Magister (LOUD)
Вставка
- Опубліковано 8 кві 2022
- As requested from our viewers, we asked several RC Jet pilots to allow us to put an onboard action cam on their aircraft and Michael Kallab was kind enough to let us equip his Fouga CM.170 Magister with a cockpit camera. The flight took place at jet training 2021 in Slovenj Gradec.
Fouga CM.170 Magister
Scale: 1/5
Propulsion: 2x50N turbine
Special thanks to Michael Kallab for allowing us to install the camera inside his beautiful airplane and Andrej Cah for enabling us the close access at the event.

I don't know how you did it, but I felt the 9Gs we were pulling right here on my couch. Incredible.
Flight Simulator 2025 looks stunning!
Imagine flying this with VR headset!!
Put an insta 360 cam in it! Great idea!!
Good save at 6:45!! A lot of guys would have made a smoking hole in the ground instead of recovering quickly. Good job! The POV from the cockpit and the sound of the engine spooling up and down is awesome.
Oh man, I saw one of these Magisters at Sun N Fun air expo in 2023 and the owner was there with it. Said he goes out with his friends cruising low altitudes.
That was as perfect and awesome as I have ever seen! Even the bug splats on the window. Loved it!
This is where I wanna be right here. That’s a nice field man
I know right? Feels like that airport was made for RC.
Excellent "scale" landing! An authentic rendition of a cadet trying to land his first jet trainer...
What a bunch of memories this gave me... Love it!
Thats is the best view from the pilot seat. So few do not utilize this great technology to bring you into the action but you did. I use to do this selling wireless cameras to put into the forward model train engine.
magnifique bravo
Ok heart almost stopped several times. Especially when the "fake landing" took place sheesh!
I got some flying time in the CM-170. Nice machine!
Looks amazingly real. Add a few gauges, monitor screens and switches and it would be awesome.
This epic
I grew up with a guy in the neighboring hangar who had 2 Fougas in the 80's . Very cool planes. It would be interesting if you set this up fpv. The scale is fantastic.
Very cool. That jet always reminds me of a V-tail Bonanza.
Echt Cool , macht sicher ein riesen Spaß , grüße aus deutschland.
Nice sound in the cocpit!
Nice flight and nice landing!
At that scale you can almost feel the G force from the POV.
really very extraordinary
Awesome!
Flight simulator with high end rig and PC is also a lot of fun.
Beautiful Jet👍
Agreed!!
wun😀der😃bar ❤ besonders die ON-BOARD camera
Nice rc jet.
Awesome, one of the best Turbine FPV's I've watched ! At 4:12 something stringy is flapping around outside the cockpit, and then peels away- I'm guessing it wasn't too important -:)
yes i thought it was a wood-stick
Epic ❤❤
WOW GOOD 🤟👍
Amazing! But what happened to last seconds with engine cut sound?
You lost the “like”…
cool channel name
Soft mount the GoPro, the high frequency oscillations are hard to manage, a gel like substance will slow it down and you'll get a much better image. Outstanding piece, really nice work!
Hey Harry thanks for the suggestion, we were very limited with time, since airplanes took off every 10 mins so it was a rushed installation.
@@JetShopBoys I wouldn't rush that masterpiece over a video clip, plenty more opportunities for that. Or a gimbal - ua-cam.com/video/CLMAu3oA6VY/v-deo.html :)
Sacré bête Guy serait intéressé… Modélisme et ex-mécano sur Fouga ...
TOP💯💢💥💫✋LIKE
Sir hi, your insignia on the wing & fuselage bare up side down, please check.
Beautyful and lovely airplane Fouga Magister.
When France had top pair combination with Alpha Jet one of the most powerfull trainer. Full jet trying after selection, just USAF had better planes: T-37 and T-38 while many allies had propeller trainer as USAF nowadays 😂
Good thing I got a GoPro camera that’s a good looking jet man. Be safe.
And I thought that the Xmaxx was expensive
10:50 90-110? 20?
big question, did he just record with onboard GoPro, or did he fly it as a FPV Pilot?
He flew LOS and was kind enough to let us put the gopro inside the cockpit.
No hearing protection?
He's not in it...
@@jd2161 oh you're right. That's why runway staff don't wear hearing protection /s
Now to make those thousands of hours of work useful you would need to add some work and transform it into a fighting drone for the ukrainian army. By the look of it all it seems not unfeasible.
I do not understand: they fly this without fpv camera?? But what is the fun of flying then? Only line of sight.. that is boring and dangerous.
I would argue flying it fpv is more dangerous.
My father crashed with a real Fouga in 1995.
What happened?
@@f900ex5 He was piloting at a Display and rumours are that the second pilot which was actually a paying guest paniked and hit the stearing stick While on downwind.
Would have been great if you didn't keep switching camera views.
Absolutely not. Do not listen to this guy. Different perspectives are always better and it's 80% cockpit anyway. Disregard this guy
