Props to you SteveO for taking your platform to showcase another pilot!
Not the first time he’s done it for me, and he’s done it for many others… SteveO is a legend.
Man I really love the polished finish on this airplane. Nostalgic and clean. Really nice. 😎
This was like a STOL Master Class. Tons of great tips, techniques, and strategies. Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very nice airplane and great flying!! Love seeing the carbon fiber "bump hat" too!! I've always been an advocate for helmets. Back in the early 70's I crashed hard racing superbike's and I still have a Bell Star helmet that saved my life!! I did break my back, but almost everything else is 'fixable' but your noggin!! LOL Yes, I'm paying the price now at 72, can't do the things I used to do and live with a lot of back pain. There was a second hard crash involved with that too. Still here, still smiling! 8) Peace --gary
Great video by an enthusiastic and talented pilot. Well done! Will be looking forward to seeing your content!
Guessing rossi fan got 46 stickers on fish tank n car appreciate you sharing your moment with us
Came here with the same thought, definitely a VR46 fan.
The doctor 💪🏻
@@WarrenGAviation your both legends good at what you do appreciate your youtube moments
You can't blame a guy for following the GOAT VR46 💛
@@paulfreeman5756thanks for the kind words… although nowhere close to as legendary as Rossi 🤙🏻 keep well bud
I love the Rossi swag, even if I'm more of a FQ20 fan, can't forget the legend Rossi.
I’m betting Cletus is wishing he waited to do this before he put the floats on his Carbon Cub. Thanks for sharing Steve!
That was Awesome! It's amazing what you put the plane through to keep it flying and land it at the right time. Thank you, Steveo, and thank you, Warren, for letting us ride along!
You’re very welcome
Thx Stevo and Warren...that's a beautiful polished i80.
Great walk thru on the stol comp
That was cool being in the plane and hearing Warren talk through the process, like dumping the flaps just as you rotate. Neat experience!
Thanks for sharing this Stevo and Warren. Makes me want to go do traffic patterns.
That was awesome flying with Warren! Love the scenes of the night flights!
8:39 Looks like STOL would be a perfect application for Electric Aircraft. Looking forward to an interesting future!
Nice ride along! Thanks!
So much fun to watch! Love these entertaining yet safe and responsible flying videos!❤🎉
Love it! Thanks for sharing!!!!
Great video loved it . The 180 is my favorite cessna single I agree with Waren 109%. I ve flown both the 185 and 180
Those planes are so cool! Those events are so fun to go to👍
Thanks for the ride
This looks like so much fun!
That was truly awesome, thanks a happy for sharing that. It's also something i doubt I'd EVER get to be that close to it all
Great Video, thanks Warren and Stevofor showing us a different side of aviation.
Thanks for watching
That is a sharp ship anyway! I like that look and that helmet is tops!
Fantastic - the man has some skills!
That was a blast to watch. Thanks.
That was a fun event! It was nice to randomly meet you in person on the field.
Warren has a nice aircraft, very spartan. I've never flown as a civilian, but I have had the opportunity to fly into several airshows for static or some limited demo. When I saw the helmet my first thought was 'roll rate?' but I imagine with the STOL competitions being more popular these days and regulated, the helmet is probably mandatory to participate, and a good idea I suppose when the competition goal is to squeeze every ounce of lift out of the surfaces on take off and land.
My avatar is moi at twelve years old, picture taken by I'm sure my nervous father, just before I soloed that stearman. On my thirteenth birthday, my father took us out to our cessna 185 skywagon and after some routine takeoffs and landings, that we had already done a hundred times, he got out and told me it's yours, go fly, first time to solo that 185 taildragger. I was shocked, that was his baby, I was nervous, but ready, so for the next 30 minutes, it was perhaps the most thrilling thing that could ever happen to a thirteen year old kid.
That was in Israel. Even though it was an uncontrolled improved rock strip, when I got airborne, the local atc, came on and congratulated me, that was amazing and I owe it all to my father. Most of the time, there was only communication when necessary, as they knew my father, knew the plane, the only American Reg. aircraft in Israel at the time, but just the same they kept eyes on us, as where this airport was, Israel was only 6 miles wide. There were hawk missile batteries along that strip, so they knew the comings and goings of everyone.
Back then I was infatuated with ww1 aircraft, hence the interest in the stearman. After I landed the 185 after soloing, my father got in, we took the plane up into the cloud cover and he gave me permission to act as though I was flying a slow but neat fighter, diving, climbing into the clouds, doing rolls , lazy 8's anything I felt like.
What a birthday present and I believe my father knew the significance of it. With all of the aircraft since then, none has risen to the romance of those two solos.
Sorry for the story, that 185 was such a sweet aircraft, we took it all over the eastern Med, never an ounce of trouble, my father was also an A&P, knew his stuff.
Hi, Steve! Fantastic!
Steveo ALWAYS has great videos.
SteveO…Amazing videography continues to grow and adding more & more…You are an amazing producer of incredible content 👍🏻🤩🌞😎
Great video! That sun looked brutal 😎
Steve,
Warren is cool, just like you!
Thank you both.
Cheers,

Keep adding videos Thumbs up 👍
I worked for a crop dusting company back in the early 80’s for three summers and would have stayed if it was a full time job with benefits. I mixed the chemicals and put them and supplied fuel for the planes and helicopters and at the end of one season once we were done spraying the potato fields with sprout stop and dinitro and crop oil too kill the vines at one of the remote air strips the mechanic took the company’s super cub airplane too go and drain the water tank for the winter and bring back the pump used too pump the water but anyway it was a day with a strong wind and a cool fall day so he had plenty of lift and he throttled up and did his magneto tests and such and he released the brakes and in the length of the plane he was airborne and went right over the top of the windsock which was on top of a pole not over 100’ in front of him it was wild too see that and I am still kicking myself in the butt for not being able too take the company up on their offer to all employees that for a thousand dollars that they would deduct so much a week from our paycheck they would teach us to fly and provide a plane and fuel required to get our private pilot’s license and I didn’t do it
Great stuff! Especially love the Rossi sticker!!
We were watching in the crowd. That 180 was my favorite aircraft by far. Beautiful. Also, nice to meet you Stevo!
Thanks for the support. The crowd was awesome
STOL is so cool. Good video.
Thanks for sharing.
This was a great video and will be looking out for Warren-G!
8:40 - more of a helicopter than a plane :D
As a fellow C-180 driver I loved it!
Great footage in the outro! Don’t click out early
Sweet sounding engine and a beautiful bird too!
That 'drone' ha🤣d a man in it and it blew me away. I thought it was a small, remote controlled one
Thanks!
Very nice! I was in the stands. It was a great show!
Safety first cool helmet, enjoyed the lessons
Murica!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Steve for another video. How was Sun N Fun this year?
Probably the best SNF to date!
That was FUN!
Hello Steve from Moscow Russia!
Love your vodka Vlad
So awesome ..
Looked like a hellacious year for Sun & Fun!
Watched the whole thing. Seems really technical.
OmG Steveo I really miss you when your in Agni to bro💯
Flying with the number of Valentino Rossi The GP hero of the Italians, 46 is a good tribute to a great man and competitor. Nice flying too.
I love STOL!
❤ great!!!
Great to see you supporting Tommy Bridewell #tb46 .
It’s Valentino Rossi’s number 🤙🏻
SteveO, i could throw a stone further than it took to take off 4:28/20:50. quite impressive i must say
Fantástico
LOTOT... Fly straight ahead.
enjoyable.
Rather enjoyed that 🙂
😂 luv the bike
Forza Vale ❤
Oooooo, shiny. 😎
Hopefully we’ll see Steveo flying in the next video!
what helmet is that? love the vid!
i went on thursday the day it got rained out and out of all the planes this was one of the only ones that stood out to me. all the way out in a field far away from the main show. a shame.
That storm was gnarly
Sun n Fun and storms have history... Welcome to Florida WX can change in minutes.
Man that stallhorn screaming....
8:45 Watch the plane in the top right use its warp drive.. They're here.
Very cool! Must be a Rossi fan with #46 on the plane. Love the rumble of that engine. What engine do you have in your plane?
Thanks. It’s a Continental O-520.
I drove Cessna 180s in the Alaskan Bush for 10 years. They are a workhorse.
Best plane ever made 🤙🏻
Stevo are you going to Oshkosh this year?
You have to get Vale to come for a ride in the plane. Lol
That would be awesome
COOL PLANE ! Does the prop draft cause the tail to lift immediately as soon as he gives it power ?
I’m pushing forward on the yoke to push the tail up. This allows the plane to accelerate with the wing in a neutral attitude, thereby lowering the drag.
👍
I want that helmet
Tac Aero 👌🏻
Just wondering if you could tell us where your helmet comes from? It looks comfortable and well belt. Awesome video by the way.
It’s a Taco Tac Aero Bush Helmet
So Steve, saw the 940 is being sold? Are you getting another new plane to fly or different plane to fly?
I honestly don’t have any idea what the future holds.
Rossi fan?
I'll ask. What is the door knob above throttle quadrant used for.
That’s where I mount my iPad on cross country flights.
Looks like a RAM mount for a GPS.
That might be the "oh s%$t" handle
It looks like a residential door knob with the interior lock. From a 7 inch phone display.
@1:39, that "drone" looks like it has carted away a man.
The helmet make/model and the new engine for the 180?
Tacaero bush helmet. And it’s a continental O520 🤙🏻
@@WarrenGAviationThank you, Warren! I found it easily after your post.😊
Nice helmet, are you wearing kneepads too?
Helmet, kneepads and a cup 👍🏻
Why the F18 helmet?
Because it looks cool 🤷🏼♂️
What helmet is he wearing? Anybody?
Tac Aero Bush Helmet
Is there a Rossi fan in the house?
😁
@@WarrenGAviation I'm still pissed at him for getting away with that cheating pass of Stoner at Laguna Seca.
@@tdkeyes1 such a good race!!!
Pushing the limits on a CESSNA?? Is that a comical statement??
Flying on the stall warning is bloody dangerous. If the headwind drops, you're dead!
na, lots of power and nose down. they know their machine
I now feel the need for a totally unnecessary fighter pilot helmet.....
Just do it!!!!
That Chinook tho.. that thing has more in common with a kite than an aircraft. Nothing impressive about STOL performance in a thing weighs as much as a shoebox, come on now
I want to help you buy your own plane. If you can post a new video every day fro flying, Post soem other news related to you life. I want to watch you every day. This will help you get your own plane. I have some friends the have over 2.5 million followers and make over 1 million per year. You are closing in on it and you deserve it. My daughter is 19 and just started online in a different process adn she has already passes 250K a year since January 2024. I told her when she reached 30000 followers in her process she will make 1 to 5k per day. She has 3600 and is at 500$ to 2k$ per day.
What??? 🤣🤣🤣
Awesome flying skills!!
Thanks 🤙🏻
Hello nice Video cool
Why does he wear a helmet?
Rules? Otherwise, to protect his cranium in case of a crash. Low probability, but possible.
