I started to search for what the dif was between them .. While watching I hit the purchase on a used V2 bracket (in excellent shape) .. I'm trying to get efficient with flash/light so i can help with my nieces wedding in October. Good old video, thank you for making this :) ..
Hi sir. I have a question regarding the umbrella hole. If there's no locking screw to keep the umbrella in place, won't it fall off if you tilt the bracket down forward?
Good question and observation! But no, it's a pressure/friction metal tab that's shaped to grip in a way where the umbrella won't slip out when tilted.
Yes generally they're for portraits but also for product shots and anything where you need a well lit scene. Here's a great video that goes through everything about the bracket that you'd need to know 👍🏽 ua-cam.com/video/ZiLWlTMsZd4/v-deo.html
Thanx for doing a very thorough comparison, Google wasn't cutting it, but it did send me here. Thank you very much
You're welcome, and I'm glad Google sent you here 👍🏼
Thank you very much for putting this together. I'm just getting into brackets so this is helpful indeed.
Thank you, it was informative.

Can you mount two Godox V860s in a vertical position?
Unfortunately, no. The bracket opening isn't big enough to accomodate that.
Now you made me want one. But I never heard of it. So can I ask (and learn) why is this used for? Is it for portraits?

@@KobieMC thank you Kobie :)
with genuine godox s1 bracket, the top portion of the plate is made of metal with a rubber padding.
Also the S2 is bettervif you have a silicone cover on your AD200
