Yeah I mean come on and it pisssed me off that she didn't say anything about posting these looks that say worth a post it can be Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snap chat, tumblr, anything social you have your post em
Honestly, I couldn't be more thrilled that oversize glasses are back in style. They take my field of vision from almost nothing, to the whole wide world lol
what I love about this decade's fashion is that basically everything from the past 100 years is in fashion. You like 20s flapper style? Totally in fashion. You like 30s and 40s dresses and shoes? Totally in fashion. You like 50s style cardigans and pearls and circle skirts? Totally in fashion. You like 60s pencil skirts and skinny cropped pants, or 70s style hippie looks, or 80s or 90s? Go for it! It's so nice that you aren't stuck trying to make one certain silhouette work even if you have the totally wrong body type, you can pick and choose through the 20th century what fits your taste and your body and have it still be stylish.
Actually that's a reason why I think it's the worst, cause it's like warm it's not iconic in any way its either lots of different styles of every other decade or somethin very basic and not really high fashion looking, of course by this I mean. From the 2010-2014, after that it's nice looking, and when it comes to men's fashion the 2010s were the best, especially, again after 2014
"NUDE" color everything. Red carpet gowns the color of old bras. Especially nude shoes. (that kind of pinky beige that is supposed to match your skin but rarely matches most people's skin.)
I really love high wasted since i was a kid!! I was suffering so much when the low wasted came and even girls wore low cut jeans... At the beginning it was fun but later on it was nasty af xD I was always out of fashion wearing high waisted skirts
They completely missed the "lady gaga" inspired clothing of the very early 2010's. I remember when I was 20 (in 2010) and seeing all these shoulder padded blazers and tops with spikes on them and very lady gaga "statement shoes". Lots of "gossip girl" and "kate middleton" influenced fashion in 2010-11 as well. Leggings were still huge too.
Ghostcupcake1 Lady Gaga inspired clothing and the hipster style as a whole didn't catch on in Chicago until late 2012/2013. The leggings-as-pants fad has been trending here since 2010 and hasn't went away, although it's starting to phase out a little bit in 2018 -- Women's flare jeans are making a comeback.
I love how people are hating 2010s fashion 😂 like, in a couple of decades this stuff will trend again and everyone will think it's awesome, just like what happens to any decade's fashion
Don't think so, the 2000s did took inspiration from other decades like 70s 60s in the early and mid aughts but still had a signature look to it, it's sorta unique, because skinny jeans that skinny were totally new and especially cause of the low rise, showing your belly that much was new for society, visible thongs, jeans were bootcut and low-rise or baggy and big, but never again high waisted, mini skirts were also new for the world, first time, metallic colors were used in fashion, bedazzled things a lot of hot pink for everything, it has a solid aesthetic, in the other hand the 2010s sterted with 80s fashion inspiration with the néons and over accessorizing from the mid 00s, then it took back 90s fashion trends especially from the mid 90s, of course the 70s and 60s also were inspiration, but this decade was weird and had a lot of different aesthetics and styles from all sorts of decades including the 50s, social media and the ressecion, gave rise to fast fashion, and that meant lots of clothes and choices of fashion very fast and non significant, I personally don't think it can be revived, maybe a bit of trends but a very few, like Adidas superstar maybe, but for the 2030s-2040s fashion I think is gonna be the time for a big revolution something very new a unique will had to come up, like it happened in the 70s and the 80s, the 2000s are our last chance to live retro.
i hate the new trend of people wearing band shirts and don't even like the band, i saw someone at disney world wearing an acdc shirt and my sister said to the person "i like your shirt, acdc is one of my favorite bands" and the person in the shirt said "wait... acdc is a band?!"
I completely love the vintage fashion revival that has happened and the 'Granny chic' look that is in a lot of the shops. I do also kinds love the festival, bohemian, hippy fashion as well.
That'll be in the update for sure... Lol I'm not mad at it though. My weight fluctuates. Used to be I'd put on weight and feel self conscious, now I put on 10lbs and everybody says 'wow your ass looks great'. Lmao smh
Dundee You're right. The man-bun fad is at its peak in the Late 2010's, and also variants of the DANTDM hairstyle, which evolved from Justin Bieber's douchey pompadour, which was inspired by Pauly D.
I think yoga pants are mainly a thing in the US, maybe Canada too? I dont know Point is, I live in the netherlands but also in other countries in Europe, ive never seen someone wearing them
Skinny jeans started in the 00‘s.. Pants tend to be the hardest “comfort silhouette” that people can’t let go. The shift from skinny to wide changed in Japan and other countries way back in 2013... I lived there at the time and the look was out. But I see people here in Seattle rocking skinny jeans like they’re still new in 2019... But Seattle doesn’t realize how behind they tend to be. Lol
Honestly hate crop tops. I can't even shop for anything cute without it being cropped -.- the none crop top shirt is just boring and plain as heck. Can't wait for that trend to be over so I can finally buy cute shirts again
How did you not mention Ear Guages? Yes, they look nightmarish, but they are definitely part of the 2010s look. Also, you forgot vaping, smartphone covers, and geek chic! Also: fedoras, chin beards and Steampunk.
Just seeing a picture of someone in ear gauges makes me want to vomit. When they are actually standing there in front of me it's even worse. I've visited a Medical School, watched them dissect a cadaver, no problem. Blood and pus? No issue at all, it doesn't even turn my stomach. But walk by me with ear gauges, and OMG I'm sick. It's disgusting. I saw someone pull off the road and shit on the side of the highway once, and that didn't gross me out as much as ear gauges do.
I think 2010's fashion is actually a mixture of many references of other decades. For example, the high-waisted stuff were very popular from the 80's until the mid-90's and the flower crowns + hippie-esque look is very reminiscent of the 60's. Also, this is very reinforced by the sense of nostalgia and romanticizing of the past amongst many kids nowadays.
ghost toast um bomber jackets, mismatching different fabrics, holographic things are becoming popular, perfect makeup with highlighter which was never used before, ombré hair etc. All these things are pretty original, just because we use somethings from other decades and improved on them doesn't mean we aren't original.
@@lovezys1235 bomber jackets were really popular in the 80s and contouring and highlighting make - up were super popular in fashion in the late 70s early 80s and drag queen 90s, no I don't know much about this era- holograph stuff was in in the 90s, I don't know, what's so new???😱
God this is why I prefer to have my own style and just wear stuff that appeals to me xD Don't really like looking like everyone else because it's "cool". I wish Silly Bandz had been on the list though, I wish they were still sold more widely. I just love bracelets in general :3
i bought corduroys becuase they were on sale in 1996, i was poor, i was made fun of, then 1month later the whole school was wearing them, so i threw mine out
Gregory Everson I wear sneakers everyday for at least six months and then they get holy. If you wore that pair of shoes three times a week for a month that would only be like twelve times. I doubt that your sneakers got holy after only wearing them twelve times. Are you sure you werent just trying to prove a point?
I believe that the trends of this decade are repaginated by the culture of nostalgia still present. It is almost impossible to find something original. Although there is. 🤔👌
Actually vintage style starting with pearls, started coming back to street fashion in 2003. Vintage wasn't in vogue in the 90's and very early 00's. But from then polka dots, lace, pleats are continually in fashion.
They are life changing, so confortables... Once you wear a good quality leggings you can't go back. So stay strong with your opinion because i have a complete collection of colors and patterns
I might wear them to the gym in the future once I start working out, but there's no way I'll go anywhere else with them. I don't feel comfortable knowing I draw attention in that way xD
Skinny jeans definitely happened before 2010. This is a 2000s thing that was so popular it stuck around. A 2010s jean trend would be ankle pants, maybe?
I started doing yoga in the 2000s and wearing the pants out sometimes but I felt embarrassed. I was so amazed to suddenly see half the women around me wearing yoga pants!
I’m 32 and I love the bohomian style. It’s cute and it’s comfortable. I was a teen in the early 2000s so I did the skater girl look and the low rise Apple bottom jeans and crop top. I think the 2010s it’s been more conservative and the clothes are so much better. I’m just a mom and a wife I don’t do festivals I just like the boho chic style, and I do love pearls and what’s considered old lady jewelry.
2010s is yet to give us an original trend.. everything is revived and remixed from the past. Designers are being lazy af *Miranda Priestly pursed lips*
sphinx onyx yeah that’s true for female fashion but men’s fashion has been pretty original, ribbed jeans and tall T’s I’m pretty sure never been around before
I dont know if this is happening outside of Europe, but I see A LOT of nosepiercings here in mainstream fashion, which in my opinion is worth mentioning when talking about the 10's fashion trends. Aside from that I also think that A-facon skirts and sweaters on top of dress-shirts have become some of the keytrends, but maybe that last one is part of the vintage-section? Idk these are just my thoughts ;)
I can't stand facial hair on myself. Like wearing a wool sweater on my face. I tried. I'm ugly enough without a beard, with one I look like a neanderthal at worst, Blackbeard the pirate at best.
You're not the only one; my best friend will flat out refuse to date a guy with facial hair. She even disapproves of the guy I'm interested in solely for his facial hair xD
You forgot the entire, "swag" outbreak, PASTEL HAIR, snapbacks, suspenders , the skrillex haircut, and probably most importantly, tunnels/plugs which were made huge.
As far as I recall, skinny jeans became a trend in like 2006 and have pretty much been around since. I feel like calling it a 2010s trend is... maybe kind of accurate, but they certainly didn't "arrive" in the 2010s. Pretty much the same goes for the higher waist. The skimming-the-pube-area ultra-low rise pants à la Christina Aguilera started in the late '90s, pretty much went away in the mid-'00s and was replaced by the variety of different waist levels we're seeing now. At least that's how I remember it.
ebbsie well the 2000’s didn’t start with skinny jeans. From 2000-2003 is was all about baggyness from the mid 00’s with the rise of the metro sexual it was about tapered jeans. It wasn’t until the emo came along in the later years of the decade that skinny jeans became a mainstay. And hipsters continued the skinny jean Trend throughout the 10’s where they are still big at the tail end of the decade. So all in all skinny jeans had more of an impact on the 2010’s than the 2000’s. The 20’s should be poised for a comeback if looser fit clothes
Only emo/scene kids and early hipsters wore skinny jeans in the Mid - Late 00's, but everybody was either sagging or still had lowrise pants. I know 'cause I was a non-conformist dork in the 00's and I hated seeing everyone's boxers or their ass-crack. Nobody was wearing high-waisted pants except black leggings/jeggings with Uggs starting 2010 and onwards. Even still, high-waisted skin-tight pants didn't really catch on in Chicago until Obama's 2nd term. At that point, the skinny, high-waisted hipster look was officially mainstream, and it was cool to be a retro geek. If you wore 'Mom & Pop' jeans prior to 2012, you were an outcast, or an out-of-touch old person.
Skinny jeans, very long shirts, distressed shirts, super plucked and pampered eyebrows, man buns, and the current sports clothes for us guys are something I CANNOT wait to forget as soon as we hit 2020. I will say however I notice this decade is a decade of a lot of nostalgia, ranging from the Roaring 20's-90's which in my opinion is pretty neat. I wish the 90's fashion today wouldn't go out of style but I'm afraid it will in due time. I would honestly like rock n roll to make some kind of mainstream resurgence without it sounding so pop bubblegum cheery or repetitive. Seems like rap & techno have dominated for too long now. Anything Jenner/Kardashian/hipster/hip hop-attire poser related culture (*eye-roll*) I've had enough of. I wonder if we are going to be nostalgic for the "00's." But who knows, maybe wearing tin foil will be a future fad. I just hope in the 2020s I can say I lived through a decade in which I loved the creative style, huge variety of music and culture, like how my parents talk so proudly of these things of the 70s-90s. I want to actually be able to say how proud I am I got to experience and grow up in a decade in the 2000s during my prime because it was so darn good.
Since 2010’s fashion has focused so much on slim legwear and small button up shirts, we should start seeing looser fitting clothes like wide legged jeans being popular in the 2020’s.
I like the 2010’s for floral print and plaid shirts, but 2010’s fashion has been bland and in creative for most of the time. Have you heard of the latest trend? Freakin normcore! Where people purposely look bland.
If you want to get into some good fashion as an antithesis to all this minimal austerity era shit of the early to mid 20 th century shit with an overtly skinny silhouette, get a pair of JNCO jeans. These wide legged babies just came back and get em online. They are the perfect antidote to tight ass jeans. Comfy and loose af. Just don’t run in em, you don’t want to trip. Harem pants that are baggy but cuffed at ankles seem to be making a splash
What sucks about these "trends" is that they're all regurgitated trends from other decades. Nothing on this list is original. And the times are off on when the trends emerged. Skinny jeans, vintage clothes, boho chic, etc started in mid 2000s. And their origins are even older.
2010s is more of , an organized version of the 2000s. 2000s was a mess, it has the same styles but the 2010s is more orderly looking, clean cut and more "conservative". Well, it's because of the Hispter culture that influenced mainstream culture. They love vintage stuff.
THWB I always considered the 2010’s to be a liberal 50’s or a conservative 90’s look. I always found it ironic hipsters were clean cut and conservative when they’re very liberal by nature and the 2010’s has an overall liberal climate. Here’s hoping the 2020’s has a more loose fitting silhouette regarding clothing.
THWB the 2000’s was quite different, I wouldn’t call it a mess tho, the first four years had loose fitting clothing from the 90’s then came the metrosexual and the emo. The hipster is what defines the 2010’s, but mark my words, people are going to get tired of impractically slim fashion move towards looser fitting clothing
elm1230 Well fashion trends take time to get mainstream, grunge fashion for example was already a thing in the 80s but far for being popular. A lot of the glam look of the 80s were also a thing in the 70s, just not very widespread yet. And you can find a lot of other examples
Midi skirts are one thing that needs to stay around! Pencil skirts are too fitted for my job (teaching), but a midi skirt looks feminine and is still flattering.
How about the brony trend that helped gentrify deviantArt and made WeLoveFine into a household name in fashion? East asian influences are also big. The counter-culture to elaborate beards and man-buns are the development of east asian-inspired androgynous styles. Clean shaven with accentuating make-up and anime hair are huge.
People usually complain about that on the main channel "Didn't know the decade was already over" and all its variants..Things are more chill here..At least she mentioned it in the beginning
***** are you into the rock music scene? they've been wearing skinny jeans forever...my mum had 4 pairs in the 60/70. I got my 1st 4 pair off my mum, her old ones...as I was alt back then as well. skinny jeans became popular in the mainstream/worldwide around 2006/7, but they were in the rock scene for a long long long time, so im not really that exceptional
Karen Hayward Skinny jeans were strictly for Emo/Scene kids in the Late 00's. By 2010, rappers like The New Boyz and Kanye West made skinny jeans cool for everybody, but they still weren't massively popular around the world until 2012. Skinny jeans were at their peak of popularity from 2013 - 2016. Throughout Obama's 1st term, most people were still wearing ankle-shorts, capris, baggy/saggy oversized jeans, bootcut jeans, and flares, at least in Chicago. Obama's 2nd term marked the end of Late 00's fashion. Today, it seems most dudes are wearing taper leg pants and slim straight legs, which began in the Spring of 2016.
RageOn sells Lisa Frank clothing: leggings, crop tops, tank tops, sweatshirts and more! Lisa Frank folders and stationary, sticker books etc were HUGE as a 90s child!
I'd prefer the outrageous fashions of the 90's and 00's over this boring looking decade. No offense but none of these (not counting 90's revival) looked interesting.
croptops are actually complimentary with highwaisted skirts and jeans. Crop tops and low waist skirt and jeans will be a disaster. Never show your navel when wearing croptops. That's the main don'ts.
"Never show your navel when wearing crop tops" I guess that's the new style. Most chicks I've seen wearing crop tops/midriff shirts show their navel. It's always been that way since the 90's. Britney Spears for example. Back in the 90's & 00's they were usually worn with cargos or low-rise jeans. (No homo)
Maybe this is why people say I look weird... I've worn leggings as pants just once in my life, and I felt awful. I actually don't even like skinny jeans, I like to wear straight legged jeans. I own no crop tops, nothing in leather, nothing high waisted, zero rompers, and my hair has never been dyed. Actually all I wear are jeans, a t-shirt plus a sweater, and sneakers, all year long (luckily there are no summers where I live, just fallish weather).
I never had a denim jeans stay for more than 6 months. Painful to wear, painful to carry. Thank god its 2019 and we have access to leggings, jeggings, yoga pants. Its been 3 years and my stretchy black pencil pants are still as good as new! It is by far the best pair of pants I have owned!
Y'all already put both skinny jeans and sports wear, then you put yoga pants? Why? I would have put form-fitting clothes (tight dresses/skirts on women, tight shirts on men, skinny jeans) or the Kardashian makeup look as number one.
what about that year when beetlejuice stripes and inverted crosses where everywhere. Bubblegum pink and beige EVERYWHERE. Big silicone asses and botox lips. Instagram baddies. Also skinny jeans started in the 2000s I think with the emo scene.
No Name yeah but that was the later years of the 2000’s. That decade starred with loose clothing in the early years, the metrosexual came along in the middle years and made clothing straight and slim. At the end of the 2000’s the emo came along and make pants skinny. The hipster continued this trend throughout the 2010’s with a different look otherwise.
Wow, this makes me feel old...I don't wear a single item of these clothing items listed! I never wore low waisted jeans in the 00s, and I don't wear high waisted jeans in the 10s. I wear mid-rise jeans that are as close to bell bottoms as I can find, just like I have since the 90s and I was a teenager. lol The only bell bottoms I own aren't jeans, they're black and really awesome. It's hard to find bell bottoms for a reasonable price. For pants, I usually wear palazzo pants. I will never be in on the yoga pants trend or the skinny jeans, as I can't fathom why someone would want to wear tight clothes. I like my clothes loose and billowy. If the wind blows my clothes will blow in the wind. I also wear a lot of tye-die, maxi skirts just like I have since I was a teenager in the 90s, and my favorite poncho. I wear hoodies year-round, especially on high pain days. If I was a dude, no way would I wear a hipster beard and man bun. I'd be rocking the Robby Steinhardt look (he's a band member from Kansas for you younger folk). I'm one of the elder Millenials, but my favorite bands and favorite fashion styles all happened before I was born.
Gold tattoos, fake nerd glasses, crop tops, heavy face contouring, statement necklaces and arm parties should have deserved at least an honourable mention,
STATEMENT NECKLACES
What are arm parties?
Bec SocSci it’s when a person wears several bracelets on the same arm and at the same time
Fake nerd glasses arrived at late 2010's.
@@imyowlou3227 I love those
Isn't there anyone else who is just shocked by the fact that we're late enough in the 2010s to post a video like that on UA-cam?
I can't believe it's been two years already
I'm viewing this in mid April 2019.
Marieke Paardekooper yes
How ya feeling now?
...and where not in the 2010s anymore
If a piece of clothing is sold on a home shopping channel the it's def not trendy.
naturegirl2110 if a trend shows up on a home shopping network, then its dead
Yup

yesssssss. This is why high waisted is such a blessing
iGetNaked 4Yongguk fr lol
I'm having flashbacks from the early 2000's, all of the underwater hanging out from low rise jeans
Same!!
And I like the feeling of it hugging me(especially with cramps it adds a nice pressure without you having to hold your stiomach yourself)
OMG, how did y'all forgot about Skrillex haircut that pop stars like Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Cassie, etc. wore?!
Man, that was a dark time...
Yup. This is a trend that is now slowly dying, thankfully. I have always despised it.
Well Demi Lovato was rocking a slightly shaved one sided look last year and no one had a problem. Don't think it'll die out just yet.
I think we're all trying to forget that... and ESPECIALLY the huge glasses.
And every girl that smoked in my school lol
no thick rimmed glasses ?

Also LONG ASS PLASTIC NAILS! How do people even use their phones or type? xD
Or wipe?
like a normal person
Not everybody has fake nails
I've had long nails and i used my phone with the side of my thumbs and typed normally.
hello army
YES high waisted! If we ever go back to low-rise I'm outta here.
😂😂

When I was little everyone had some of them but I didn't like them. XD
it was popular in 2010.
heyitsbea they released in like 2009 but became more popular in 2010
they carried into 2010 so i guess they're both
tbh when people say grunge was only a fashion statement. i feel like it was more of a life style
grunge is SO over
Omg I loved the vintage style so much and the 90's look is so pretty
i hate the new trend of people wearing band shirts and don't even like the band, i saw someone at disney world wearing an acdc shirt and my sister said to the person "i like your shirt, acdc is one of my favorite bands" and the person in the shirt said "wait... acdc is a band?!"
I know right
I saw that with Guns N Roses as well, very nauseating lol
So many Nirvana shirts
Shan well i love nirvana smh
Shan well I actually doubt this happened. You have to live under a rock to not know about some of these band.
I completely love the vintage fashion revival that has happened and the 'Granny chic' look that is in a lot of the shops. I do also kinds love the festival, bohemian, hippy fashion as well.
You forgot the silicone ass trend.
😂😂😂
And the stupid lip injection.
NunyJr OMFG YES
That'll be in the update for sure... Lol I'm not mad at it though. My weight fluctuates. Used to be I'd put on weight and feel self conscious, now I put on 10lbs and everybody says 'wow your ass looks great'. Lmao smh
NunyJr That's not a new trend. Nothing wrong with it either... ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
The man bun is dying out (thank goodness)
None Of Your Business Nope, it is as popular as ever
Dundee You're right. The man-bun fad is at its peak in the Late 2010's, and also variants of the DANTDM hairstyle, which evolved from Justin Bieber's douchey pompadour, which was inspired by Pauly D.
Those are sexy! But that style does say u were too lazy to do ur hair
Man bun is just the Mullet all over again. Let's see how people mock it 20-30 years in the future
still love it to death
Most of these aren't really 2010s. Most of what we wear today is just recycled bits of old fashion
They made that point but just because its recycled doesn't mean it isn't a trend of the 2010s.
Basically but at least the 2010’s put its own spin on it
that's the trend. 2010s is heavily inspired by the vintage style and it started in 2012.
Lily W 80s fashion ripped of a lot of the 60s mod style too, and yet we call it 80s fashion.
Dundee but at least the 80’s was unique enough you can tell it apart from other decade
I think yoga pants are mainly a thing in the US, maybe Canada too? I dont know
Point is, I live in the netherlands but also in other countries in Europe, ive never seen someone wearing them
I live in Germany and it is definetly a thing
Here in the Netherlands literally everyone wears them
+Angela well ive never seen anyone so maybe it's a regional difference
+TheElisabethMaria Idk where do you live?
+Angela Limburg, what about you?
I hope not I love crop tops
I like both crop tops and normal tees but yeah sometimes it gets annoying when I just want a tee and all I can find are crop tops.
True
are you too fat to pull them off or something?
You can't wear them to school. And they are worthless during the fall and winter because it's too cold.
The 90s will always be in style
I think 2010's fashion is actually a mixture of many references of other decades. For example, the high-waisted stuff were very popular from the 80's until the mid-90's and the flower crowns + hippie-esque look is very reminiscent of the 60's. Also, this is very reinforced by the sense of nostalgia and romanticizing of the past amongst many kids nowadays.
It's October 2019 and I've just realised this decade is about to be over in a few months. That's wild.
does anyone realize how this is one of the only decades where we arent original at all
Yes!
ghost toast um bomber jackets, mismatching different fabrics, holographic things are becoming popular, perfect makeup with highlighter which was never used before, ombré hair etc. All these things are pretty original, just because we use somethings from other decades and improved on them doesn't mean we aren't original.
Lovezys123 most of these things sadly, except the highlighter, are very old trends
@@lovezys1235 bomber jackets were really popular in the 80s and contouring and highlighting make - up were super popular in fashion in the late 70s early 80s and drag queen 90s, no I don't know much about this era- holograph stuff was in in the 90s, I don't know, what's so new???😱
@@dirtyhatemachine highlighter is a VERY old trend- disco era 70s and early 80s as was contouring!
Dam last time I was this early Exo had 12 members
lmmffaooo
nooooo 😂😂
I'm not crying 😂😂
Why did you have to bring that up :(
At least Xiumin is still on there. That's all I need.
God this is why I prefer to have my own style and just wear stuff that appeals to me xD Don't really like looking like everyone else because it's "cool". I wish Silly Bandz had been on the list though, I wish they were still sold more widely. I just love bracelets in general :3
i bought corduroys becuase they were on sale in 1996, i was poor, i was made fun of, then 1month later the whole school was wearing them, so i threw mine out
+Gregory Everson If you were poor then why the fuck would u throw them out? That makes no sense.
Cathy M
i had to wear them like 3times a week, they got all holy
Gregory Everson I wear sneakers everyday for at least six months and then they get holy. If you wore that pair of shoes three times a week for a month that would only be like twelve times. I doubt that your sneakers got holy after only wearing them twelve times. Are you sure you werent just trying to prove a point?
Cathy M
sneakers are different than jeans, you dont put shoes in the washer that often, and they were pretty thin pants to begin with
I've never heard of Canada goose jackets
they are popular in Canada. they very expensive & it was around 2010 that they blew up
i honestly can't wait to see what fashion has in store for the future!
What about instagram baddies, and yeezy style lmao
Ugh yes them yeezy shoes
wait- baddies was a word 4 years ago? omg 😂
@@Jade-ns5dm ohh yes, pls google it lol
I believe that the trends of this decade are repaginated by the culture of nostalgia still present. It is almost impossible to find something original. Although there is. 🤔👌
Actually vintage style starting with pearls, started coming back to street fashion in 2003. Vintage wasn't in vogue in the 90's and very early 00's. But from then polka dots, lace, pleats are continually in fashion.
Confession: I've never worn yoga pants and i dont want to either
me too
Like I've worn yoga shorts
Ditto
They are life changing, so confortables... Once you wear a good quality leggings you can't go back. So stay strong with your opinion because i have a complete collection of colors and patterns
I might wear them to the gym in the future once I start working out, but there's no way I'll go anywhere else with them. I don't feel comfortable knowing I draw attention in that way xD
You guys should do a updated version of this list since we're finishing the decade
Kardashian/ Jenner look??? I've seen about 10 girls who look exactly like them...
This is my childhood why am I cringing
pop culture always revere everything that happened 20 years ago. so in 4 years, everyone will be rocking 00s attire.
that will be a sad sad time
+Nirvana and the Del Rey Diamonds took the words right off my fingetips
on the bright side i can sell all my horrendous 00's clothes to the next generation of """trendy""" teenagers.
OMG THERES GONNA BE A NEW 2007 😭😭😭 scene kids everywhere!!!
Guys, 2010 "Swag" culture is gonna come back someday... oh no. This is bad.
Skinny jeans definitely happened before 2010. This is a 2000s thing that was so popular it stuck around. A 2010s jean trend would be ankle pants, maybe?
Leather & lace, wow I wonder where they got that idea *cough STEVIE NICKS cough* haha
love the lace and leather, very classy!
90's was the best in fashion after the 30's and 70's
I never thought that I would be seen dead wearing "yoga pants" but they won me over because they're just so fucking comfortable.
I feel like the only one who hates leggings- maybe it's because 80% of the girls my age wear them everyday, but idk.
I DO TOO
I hate facial hair and I think I'm the only one
Well some men look good clean shaved but most look like teenagers. Facial hair makes men look more masculine and strong and all and that is sexy
Χριστίνα Σπυρίδου well okay. that's fair. I just dont like it
+Kpop_Fangirl till_the_end And that's completely fine. We all have preferences
Here before the end of the 2010s 😭😭😭 😭R.I.P.
I absolutely hate man buns. I love when guys grow their hair but I feel that, if they want to wear it long, they need to show it off and let it flow.
IronheadOfScroteus That's understandable. The bun thing is just horrible. I bet that, when you're not working, your hair is probably down and free.
Yep, at 48, I've had it long since high school, can't imagine it ever being short again. Although it is rather thinner than in my youth. Oh well.
+Travis I'm sure that men don't give a fuck what you want either.
What does your first comment have to do with anything? You're just being a troll.
** pats you on shoulder ** Whatever gets you through the day.
Can't wait for Top 10 Decade Defining Fashion Trends Of The 2020s
I want to actually be able to say how proud I am I got to experience and grow up in a decade in the 2000s during my prime because it was so darn good.
aesthetica You gonna miss the 2010's during the 2020´s. Mark my words
Harem pants that are baggy but cuffed at ankles seem to be making a splash
it’s the 2020s and people are obsessed with the 2000s
I can remember the Peter Pan collar and peplums in the early 2010s
What sucks about these "trends" is that they're all regurgitated trends from other decades. Nothing on this list is original. And the times are off on when the trends emerged. Skinny jeans, vintage clothes, boho chic, etc started in mid 2000s. And their origins are even older.
elm1230 every decade gets stuff from a previous era. The 2010’s has been a lot less creative tho. hopefully the 2020’s will get more creative.
Man buns can sink into the seventh layer of hell FOREVER!!!!! ✂️
I Love skinny jeans and high waisted jeans
the hurt commercial..... why go to coachella to watch it on tv? WHO DOES THAT?
People who, during coachella, are dressed like that girl and drink champagne in expensive glasses, I guess.
.... well, nobody.
Coachella was the rich girls woodstock. It was all about money, starbucks and being instagram cool
Joggers deserve to be on this list. It's a positive step forward to the 20's in my opinion
No "So Far?"
So far no dislikes.
People usually complain about that on the main channel "Didn't know the decade was already over" and all its variants..Things are more chill here..At least she mentioned it in the beginning
Sarym

The Ombre hair and the 90's trends fashion. 👍😍👍
I LOVE high wasted things, because i'm curvy and it gaves me the best body ever
is it bad that i am OBSESSED with mom jeans. the high waisted look is super appealing, and makes me feel happy.
Skinny jeans have been around since way before this. It shouldn't have been mentioned on this list.
Miss Cromer Thank you : )
I was thinking that, I'm 25 been wearing them since I was 11. my mum used to wear them when she was 13 and she's 60odd now.
You're essentially right. Drain pipes have been around forever, and they're pretty much the same thing.
I'm really happy vintage style made the list!
vintage can be very fun and unique!
Really?? Ripped jeans have never not been in style since the 90s, smh 😔
never liked them or saw their purpose lol
Are you living under a rock? Everyone’s wearing ripped jeans these days.
Ripped jeans were huge in the 80s and early 90s!
the 90's style is the best !!! I don't want it to go away !!!!
RageOn sells Lisa Frank clothing: leggings, crop tops, tank tops, sweatshirts and more! Lisa Frank folders and stationary, sticker books etc were HUGE as a 90s child!
At least some of our fashion isn't hideous like other decades' :p
our fashion is basically a mix of all the decades.
I'd prefer the outrageous fashions of the 90's and 00's over this boring looking decade. No offense but none of these (not counting 90's revival) looked interesting.
oh wait a few decades and you'll think you walked around hideous
Are you about that? We basically look like tanned ducks with plastic asses.
Oh Emily With severely overdrawn eyebrows.
5:02 they’re calling mom jeans unflattering and now they are everywhere, I literally only wear mom jeans now
Same here, I felt like I was being make fun of when they said that mom jeans were unflattering
*The decade of 2010's is ending. It has passed 75% of this decade*
Sadly its 2020’s now
@@theres3peopleinthisacc743 *It has passed 7% of this new decade* 😷
Does anyone remember when the mustache trend or when we all wore peacock feather clip ons in our hair??
Yes, I remember this, all clothes was hipsters and I wear a mustache tank top in 2013. 😁
Crop tops? Seriously.. No...? Ok I seriously don't know fashion
croptops are actually complimentary with highwaisted skirts and jeans.
Actually all I wear are jeans, a t-shirt plus a sweater, and sneakers, all year long (luckily there are no summers where I live, just fallish weather).
mandy98 good for you
You look weird because every one else looks the same. Not your fault.
The 2010s; also known as the decade of no originality and creativity.
812Ricky 2010 the decade where people act like pricks to be cool and hip.
J. O. It thought it was Hipster fashion
Creativity and originality doesn't always work. The past few decades have had plenty and they are mostly all garbage.
That's every decade. It's called trends and every year is plagued with them.
Kry Kry Stott no the 2000s was one of the worst decades of fashion ever. The 2010s have been the best decade since the 1960s
Minimalism and classic looks never go out of style. Y'all have fun with trends lol
How could you forget STRIPED EVERYTHING!?!? I'm so over stripped clothing :(
I never had a denim jeans stay for more than 6 months.
OMG I REMEMBER THOSE SILLY BRACELETS!!!!!!!! I had a whole collection of them.
JARED LETOOOOO
Here's my 10 list :
-High-waisted pants.
-Mixing fabric accents.
-Boho chic.
-Hipster beard and sideburns.
-Wearing anything with Supreme logo.
-Thick eyebrows.
-Red headphones.
-Face tattoo.
-Pronounced lips (For white girls).
-Yoga pants.
high waisted jean are amazing I'm tired of low rise..love vintage clothes and skinny jeans
A t-shirt and jeans are the greatest fashion trend of all time
what about that year when beetlejuice stripes and inverted crosses where everywhere.
I'm one of the elder Millenials, but my favorite bands and favorite fashion styles all happened before I was born.
what about emoji-stuff?
No
You can't wear that
Nobody wearing that shit
That's so 2015
That quick little once upon a time clip made my day ❤️
Brand name shoes being a thing of the 2010s?
You......... don't know what converse are, right
Majority of this and more are basically still present in 2019... It'll be interesting to see what the 2020s have to offer
