To be honest I am not completely sure what you are referring to. If you jump from a high ground into the water you'll end up under the water, which I guess could be considered dive jump in a way.
I could just be remembering it wrong? Maybe it was a mod. But I see clips of people doing like a forwards dive on land which is faster than running. @@MichalBraun
@@NillerMandela I see, well now I know what you mean. That is an acrobatic skill. In the first game you can learn it from a guy named Buster in a New Camp. In the second game you'll receive this skill automatically as soon as you gain 90 dexterity

Try to look into control settings. Have you tried to press A and D instead of Q and E?
